Bright and Versatile
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bright My first impression upon powering up this projector was bright. No need to turn off the lights. It throws an image with exceptional clarity in broad daylight. Versatile Professional enough for presentations in the office. Solid enough for the family at home. Connectivity This thing will connect to just about anything. HDMI, USB, VGA, Composite, RCA, and Wireless. Quick and Easy It does most of the work for you. Plug in your source and the projector will find it. Intuitive Menu options are intuitive and simple to follow. Small Footprint and Light It requires minimal space and lightweight. No more than a typical laptop. Sturdy Solid and well built. Functional Comes with a remote control that is responsive and easy to use. Compatibility Laptops, Desktops, Windows, Mac, Flash Drives, iPhones, and Androids (I even connected a Linux machine without issues). More Compatibility I have connected Roku, FireTV, and Dish Network with absolutely no problems. Audio Has a built in speaker. It is audible but not this products strongest feature and is its most disappointing feature. Overall this is a fine piece of equipment. I would recommend it to my family and friends. You can get a lot of use in many ways from this projector. This is a review for the Epson Pro EX-7280 Projector that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.

BRIGHT – LIGHT – 1280x800 RESOLUTION
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.REVIEW: EPSON PRO EX7280 3LCD WXGA PROJECTOR WITH BUILT-IN SPEAKER - WHITE BRIGHT – LIGHT – 1280x800 RESOLUTION The EX7280 is very bright (4000 lumens) and relatively small, with a good variety of inputs (this thing even has analog COMPOSIT INPUTS). It has a zoom lens, and nice short throw which means you don’t have to mount it 30 feet away from the wall. It will work perfectly fine in the middle of a conference room table. It is important to note that although it will downscale 4K or HD images, the native resolution is only WXGA, which in projector speak is 1280x800. While it does connect to your network over WIFI it has too much lag to be of any practical use for wireless presenting, so you will want to have a physical cable like HDMI or VGA. If you need something bright, more than you need super high resolution, then the EX7280 is worth a look. It is well built, high quality, small, bright, powerful. SETUP and UNBOXING As you would expect from EPSON, they make great stuff, it was well packaged, and well protected, and everything is clearly labeled and easy to understand / use. The user interface (from the remote) is a little dated feeling, but easy enough to use right away. One nice feature they do have is that once you connect it to your network you can control all of the settings from your PC or phone. Just type in the IP address on your web browser of the projector. The sound is perfectly fine for a business projector. NOTE: It does not support windows (wireless remote) screen mirroring built into Windows 10 or Chromecast on Windows. You have to download and install I-PROJECT for windows, from EPSON which would have to be loaded on all your PC’s that you want to present. Though I don’t recommend using this for remote mirroring, just use a cable. TIP: You will get the best picture by changing your PC resolution to 1280x800, otherwise, the downscaling (especially from 4K) is not very smooth and makes any text hard to read. SUMMARY / CONCLUSION / RECOMMENDATION Figure out what you really need for both brightness, portability and resolution. You can get a pocket HD projector, with only 200 lumens. Or, you can get a GIANT 4K Projector that you can’t easily move around. At 4000 lumens you won’t have to dim the lights or close the blinds in your conference room. I have one conference room with windows on 3 sides and the light washes out all our projectors and TV’s we have tried. We are not allowed back in the office yet due to COVID restrictions, but I am confident this projector will work just fine there. It is a fine projector of high quality and if brightness and affordability are your 2 biggest drivers, then take a close look at the EX7280.

Best purchase
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The picture is great and just like watching in theaters! Brightness is there and I love that! I don’t have to shut my curtains just to watch it. The only thing I was disappointed with was that I wish it had more hdmi inputs. I had to go buy splitter and switch so I can go from one device to another. Just more clutter.

Good beginner projector for home or small business
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fairly intuitive to use, nice and bright. Has a good amount of options, solid slightly above "entry level" projector and was a decent price with the sale.

Epison video player
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The picture is clear, nice for the price. Like others say sound is not great, but would need to buy a audio-video converter so you can get sound to come out of other devices. I'm happy with the product.

Good Theater Projector with Basic features
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great Projector for the price and brand. Keep in mind this model does have built-in speakers but NEEDS an AV receiver with compatible speakers or an HDMI audio extractor (significantly cheaper) to use a SEPARATE SOUND SYSTEM for BETTER SOUND. If you have more money to throw, I would aim for a higher model that offers BT for sound and Native 1080p.

Its a good projector, but..
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is one of the cheapest projectors from Epson that allows image skewing. Its good at what it does, but i doesnt do much when it comes to inputs and outputs.

Very bright and clear picture
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This projector has a very bright 4000 lumens output and the image in WXGA is very sharp and clear. Even in daylight the picture is bright and clear. This would have absolutely been perfect had miracasting been included. I don't understand why that was omitted in the final design as this is a board room projector and Miracasting allows anyone with a phone, computer, or tablet to connect their media to the projector wirelessly. Of course you can connect via HDMI but phones and tablets prove a little more tricky. Having an HDMI input allows you to add a dongle with miracasting but a baked in solution is always preferred. Auto keystone allows for a straight projection with minimal effort. I like how well it can project from just a table. Mounting is optional but not necessary and that's great. It a very nice office multimedia experience.

Good projector for office use cases
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really enjoyed the newest from EPSON - I have owned other 3LCD projectors in the past, the newest being just over a year old. While I appreciated the integrated wireless in this new unit, I didn't notice much of an improvement in image quality, brightness, or positioning options. The projector is smaller in footprint, and will make a wonderful portable unit, and is much lighter overall. Some of that weight reduction came from feet and controls that seem made of lighter more brittle plastic than before. Hard plastic has replaced rubberized feet, and the mechanisms felt clumsy rather than smooth on adjustment of height. One thing that seemed to work better was they keystone control. I noticed this was much better due to having a manual control right on the unit to "quick adjust" it without fumbling through controls in the menus. I did all of my projection tests using wireless methods - Sending 1280x800 resolution to the projector (actually an Apple Retina signal of 2560x1600, but emulating 800p scale) the results were sharp and bright - Contrast was good, as I fully expected from EPSONs 3LCD tech... No complaints there. Really pleased with the Miracast/iProjection capabilities. I wouldn't stream video over this thing but being able to set up the projector and not dangle an HDMI cable and adapters (again, Mac) was a real benefit to quick business projecting. I was also able to hook up a Google ChromeCast with Google TV dongle to the unit, and it did an excellent job (at a distance) with playing high definition content using a simple dongle (The Chromecast w/GoogleTV or a Roku is a good solution here as it's one-piece and includes a remote for TV tuning). I was impressed that the projector produced decent audio and could be used as a makeshift TV in certain scenarios (in a pinch - The video resolution and sound quality isn't going to please cinephiles!) I'm pleased to add this unit to my portable arsenal as my new go-to-projector in the field.
