Great projector for the price.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This projector works great on my new 25 ft inflatable screen. It also did great on my 10 ft screen on rear projection in an outdoor setting under a white tent where a lot of daylight was coming through. Just had side walls around the back and first side sections of the tent. Of course, in direct sunlight the picture won't show up, but I was very impressed by the brightness and quality of the picture under the tent with as much light as there was. I'm still not sure about the wifi feature. I kept getting disconnected, but at this point, I can't say it was the projector, my device, conditions causing weak signals or something else. I will be working with that this weekend to see if I can figure out the cause. Setup was very easy.

Great replacement for my old 2010-era BenQ project
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Did side-by-side comparison shots in ambient light between this Epson and my old BenQ MX812ST projector, which is rated at 3,500 lumens, short throw, 1024 by 768 XGA in 4:3 which cost me $800 used 11 years ago. The Epson is much brighter and colorful even though it has to sit farther from the screen than the BenQ. Also important is the BenQ’s resolution is too low to properly display readable material from an iPad. With the Epson, text is much clearer.

A fantastic Projector even in bright room
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently purchased the Epson Pro EX9240 3LCD Full HD 1080p Wireless Projector, and I am absolutely blown away by its performance! I was honestly surprised by just how bright the picture is. I expected a projector to require a completely dark room, but this one delivers vibrant, crisp images even in a room with ambient light. The 3,600 lumens of brightness make a huge difference, providing clear, sharp visuals whether I’m watching movies, giving presentations, or gaming. The Full HD 1080p resolution offers stunning clarity and detail, and colors pop beautifully, thanks to the 3LCD technology. I’ve used other projectors before, but none have matched the brightness and color accuracy that this one delivers. It’s perfect for both indoor and outdoor use, and I’ve been able to project on a large screen without any loss in quality or brightness. Setting it up was a breeze, thanks to the wireless capabilities. I was able to connect my laptop, phone, and streaming devices without needing any additional cables. The screen mirroring feature is especially handy, making it super easy to stream content directly from my devices. The projector is also surprisingly quiet, which is a bonus when using it in a home theater setup. The picture is stable and sharp, with minimal adjustments needed, and I love how portable it is for different viewing setups. Overall, the Epson Pro EX9240 has exceeded all my expectations. It’s bright, easy to set up, and delivers incredible picture quality. If you’re looking for a projector that performs well in various lighting conditions and offers excellent image clarity, I highly recommend this one!

Business and Pleasure
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My first impression of this projector is that this is an amazing projector for the office and your home. This project has great colors, brightness and puts on an amazing display for whatever you maybe presenting or watching. I have been using this projector in and out of the office for about a week now and I absolutely love it. Let’s go over the features of the Epson - Pro EX9240 3LCD Full HD 1080p Wireless Projector. Unboxing- The projector came nicely packaged in sturdy box and inside the box the project was nestled in its black cushioned carrying case. So, overall the project comes packaged very well. In the box you also find the manual and the power cord for the projector. The projector has a very nice black finish, almost professional looking in a sense. The projector measures in at about 12 in W x 11 in D x 5 in H and weighs roughly about 8lbs, which makes it portable if you need to move it from room to another and also has a loop for a security cable if you need to leave in an accessible area. The projector has three mounting screw locations on the bottom of the projector and an option in the menu to allow you to adjust the display depending on how you have the projector mounted. Features- So, this is a 3LCD projector. 3LCD is the name and a brand owned by Epson and gets its name from the three LCD panel chips used in its imaging generation engine. 3LCD projectors can have higher color light output than single chip DLP projectors and this is because the projector mixes and projects light beams through all three colors to form each individual pixel, while the DLP on the other hand create colors by projecting them one at a time. 3LCD also use less power compared to DLP and are also able to display a finer image as well. The projector does have an adjustable foot on the bottom, to lift it up if it is placed on a table, and has a manual image adjustment capability to enlarge and reduce an image, focus and also to adjust the keystone depending on the location of the projector. The projector lens has a cover to protect the lens but also to mute the audio and video capability of the projector. The projector has 2 HDMI ports, Female VGA port, USB input, RCA input and lastly wireless display. So, this projector offers multiple input options which, in my opinion, makes this projector extremely portable. The projector offers full HD 1080p (1098x1080) display with 4000 lumens and 16:9 aspect ratio. The lamps have a 5500-hour life span on full brightness and setting and offer almost 12000-hours on eco mode. The projector also has a built-in speaker which is not the greatest, but works well in a quiet conference room. Split Screen Display- Ability to utilize two display inputs at once on a split screen. E-Zoom - Able to zoom 2x into the display Freeze – Freeze frame Use- So, like I had mentioned earlier that I have been using this projector in and out of the office. The wireless display connection makes this projector portable and extremely easy to use. I was able to connect my laptop to the project in less than a minute and my presentation was ready to go. The colors on my presentation were bright vivid and the best part was the text was easy to read and there was no distortion at all, and when you are done just pack it up and in its provided carrying case and you are ready to take the projector wherever you need. What sets this projector apart from the rest is its ability to project onto a screen even in a brightly lit room. Unfortunately, I was unable to take pictures of my presentation at work due to the confidential nature but I was able to take some pictures at home to show you how well the display works even in a brightly lit room. The projector does offer display modes catered directly to presentations, a blackboard mode for use on chalkboards, essentially eliminating the need for screen. The projector also offers a dynamic and cinema mode for use at home. I honestly can’t say enough about the wireless capability of this project because it makes it so versatile. At home even though I can connect this via the HDMI cable, I am also able to connect my phone directly to the projector wirelessly and stream anything off my phone. This projector offers the best of both worlds, for business and pleasure. In my opinion this is an amazingly versatile projector that is easy to use and easy to setup in the office and in your home as well. This projector has performed admirably for myself in my office and in my home. I would highly recommend anyone looking for an office and home use projector to give this baby a shot. You will not be disappointed.

I wasn't ready!!!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this projector as an upgrade to my cheaper option I had installed and wow what a difference the lumens make! I have the projector installed outside on my Lanai (Florida) and it works amazing during the day and night. Super clean/clear and the split screen capability by HDMI input makes it easy to work on two separate ideas at the same time. The movies display amazing! However, I suggest purchasing a true projector screen if you do not have one.

Nice, clear and bright, just needed front sound
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great quality and bright projector. Sound is great for a projector with built in speaker but you definitely need front Bluetooth speaker or sound bar. Picture is very clear, we watch it during the day with our curtains open and still has great picture. I looked for projectors for a year and after all the reviews and research i decided to try this one out. Im glad i did!! All around great projector for work, really good for gaming and movies. If your looking for a projector you can actually use all times of the day go and wont break your wallet go with this one. You wont be disappointed

Decent projector
|Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this as I found it at a good price and it was capable of projecting a 125" image at my throw distance. It is much quieter than the cheap projector it was replacing. Image quality is good and brightness is very clear even in moderate lighting. The fan occasionally makes rattling noises and it lacks some modern features like HDMI Arc which would have been nice. But compared to the other projectors with those features this was the better bang for the buck.

It's why they call it Best Buy...
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best Buy does a great job at narrowing down the best products for you to choose from, and they did it again with this projector. If you have never shopped for projectors before, it can be shocking how expensive they can get. Trying to choose from $150 to $15,000 options and everything in between can be overwhelming. This is a great option for a business use case. We have it setup on a large table in a large conference room. I have not been able to physically compare the image quality, brightness, or any other factors like fan noise / heat, etc to other projectors, but I feel this is meeting the need for an entry level business use case. I researched quite a bit before purchasing this because there is a 15% restocking fee. This seems to meet my expectations after reviewing so many other options online. It's bright enough in a well lit conference room with an entire wall of windows. Direct sun would be a problem for sure, but I think that is with any projector. It's easy to setup and use. The remote works great as well as the built in Miracast wireless display option. The built in speaker is definitely useable for business. I wouldn't want to watch a movie with it but you definitely could. The fan is audible so you wouldn't want a conference phone next to it for example, but it's just a typical white noise. You can ceiling mount it as well which would make the noise and heat much less of a consideration. Overall after basic setup and testing, I would recommend this product.

||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bright and clear image, quick start up and turn off at a decent price - especially at the sale price! Used almost nightly in basement rec room area. Much brighter than previous Epson model (EX50) I had for several years at similar price.

Does a good job
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a good projector for bright projection but if the image is dark it still does ok it just has some dots... I would probably buy again since they are still making bulbs for this one and not the home theater ones

Great projector for home or business.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This projector exceeded my expectations. I am a consultant/trainer and I purchased this projector to conduct presentations. The lighting effect is perfect and bright enough to use with natural or overhead lighting. The colors are very bright, and although I haven't used it outdoors, I believe it will offer great performance in daylight or sundown. The projection is sharp and reflects clearly accross the classroom, even when it's set on 50% presentation mode. It has WiFi built-in so you can connect devices directly. I am happy for this because I use different types of training modalities to teach and I am able to show movie clips and YouTube videos as part of my course curriculum. It has full HD mode, and many other cool features like split screen. This projector is worth the investment, you will not be disappointed!

Great projector.
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love this projector. I bought this for use outside with the kids when we go away and movie nights at home. It’s been so impressive I’m using it now in the house all the time. I prefer it over my tv now. I use it all the time in the bedroom just against the wall and looks great. The projector is nice and bright and doesn’t require the room to be very dark at all for a great picture. The sound is plenty loud and is clear as well.
