PROFESSIONAL SECURITY FOR YOUR HOME!!!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The SoloCam S340 is a solar-powered outdoor security camera from Eufy Security. This is a feature rich device that not only offers amazing video quality but is also super simple to install. So, let’s go over the features, Pros and Cons on the new Eufy SoloCam. Setup: This has to be probably the easiest camera that I have ever installed. The installation process literally took me minutes. You will need to download the Eufy security app and sync the camera and setup the WIFI which takes about 5 minutes. The application will guide you on the mounting and how to get the best angle. Once all that is complete, just find a location where you want to place the camera and all it requires is three screws to place the mounting bracket and that’s it. Once the bracket is mounted you can simply side the camera onto the bracket and your in business. Power: One of the features about the SoloCam is the power source. You can charge the built-in battery with the provided cables or you can use the provided solar panel for unlimited power. 2 hours of sunshine will provide all day power to the camera. The panels also work with low light charging. Storage: The camera has 8GB on device storage. If that is not enough you have option to connect the camera to a Homebase for up 16TB of storage capacity or you can always sign up clod storage programs. Dual Camera: One unique feature about the SoloCam is that it offers dual cameras. One camera offers 2K telephoto lens and the other offers 3K wide-angle lens and both cameras work together to auto-zoom on a target with up to 3x optical and 8x digital zoom. All videos can be recorded in 3K resolution for crisp and clear footage. This also gives the camera a wide field of view, and it also allows the camera to zoom in on specific objects without losing detail. Nightvision and AI Recognition: The camera also has night vision, both colored and Black and White. The camera has a built-in spot light to if you prefer to use the color night vision and AI-powered detection, so you can be sure that it will capture any suspicious activity, even in the dark. You can also talk to people with the built-in microphone and speaker. Pros: • Dual-lens design with wide field of view and zoom capabilities • Amazing Picture Qualtiy • Night vision and AI-powered detection • Solar panel powered with built-in battery • Easy to install and use • Can be used indoors or Out • Small footprint • Built-in Microphone and Speaker • Local or cloud storage option Cons: • I could not find anything that stood out to me. Overall, the SoloCam S340 is a great security camera that offers a number of features that make it a great choice for homeowners looking for a comprehensive security solution. It is easy to install and use, and it is powered by a solar panel so you don't have to worry about running out of batteries or running any wires and the best part, no subscriptions.

Excellent Camera with Many Features
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I started my Eufy journey with a Video Doorbell 2K. I like having the awareness in addition to security. I wanted to get another camera for the driveway, but I didn't want to have to remove it to charge the camera. The Eufy Solocam S340 solves that problem with the adjustable/removeable solar panel. PROS -Subscription free security. -Content is stored locally, not in the cloud -Self-contained unit, no HomeBase or other device required -Dual cameras allows for wide angle and zoom in one view -Easy installation and setup. -Solar panel for year round operation without having to manually charge the camera -Can track people and vehicles, then return to the default view -Great black and white night vision CONS -It would be nice if the camera worked with the older HomeBase 2, but since it has its own storage, it's not a huge deal -The screws that were provided didn't do well with vinyl siding, but that's very minor and specific to my situation. SETUP: As stated, I already have a Eufy doorbell, so I already had the Eufy app and account, otherwise you'd need to download the app and create an account. Setup for the new device was simple. The app walks you through connecting the camera to your WIFI and setting it up. If you have a HomeBase 3, you can also set it up to use that for additional storage and additional features, like BionicMind. I only have a HomeBase 2, and it appears the S340 won't work with the older HomeBase. INSTALLATION: The camera comes with a booklet with instructions on how to install. There is also a mounting guide in the app for the S340. Mounting the camera was straightforward. You can either mount the solar panel directly on the camera or you can use the included 10 ft extension to mount the solar panel in a better location to catch the sun. I'm starting with the solar panel on the camera, but I can raise it up higher on the house if necessary. The solar panel can be pointed in any direction and any angle, which allows you to get it in exactly the right direction and angle for the location of the camera and optimal sun exposure. I found that the screws weren't good enough to go through vinyl siding, but I just used some different screws that went right through. It would have been nice to have recommendations on where to point the solar panel and at what angle it should be, but maybe it depends on your latitude, but general guidelines would have been helpful. A quick google search provided the answer. CAMERA FEATURES: -The dual camera is really nice. You have a wide angle lens and a zoomed lens. It's really nice that you can see both in one view in the app. -Night vision is just as good, if not better than my doorbell. The camera has a 100 lumen light, but it doesn't need that to see in the dark. Just like with my doorbell, this camera can detect and only alert on humans, but will also detect vehicles. -The camera's 100 lumen light isn't very bright, but I don’t need it anyway. I think it’s more to allow for color video at night and not to light up your yard. CONTROL USING THE APP: -Live view: When viewing the camera in the app, you can view a live stream and can tilt and pan the camera at will. You can define 4 preset positions and have a default position, so if the AI tracks a person of vehicle, the camera returns to the default preset. Other features in live streaming view: you can record what you see, turn on the light, trigger the alarm and more. -Power Management: The app allows you to adjust the power management to optimize battery life, surveillance or customize the recording length. There are other settings, that can affect battery life, but as long as you get 2 hours of sunlight a day on a regular basis, you can probably keep the settings for better surveillance. -Activity zone: I found that where I had the camera pointed triggered cars along the road, but you can define an activity zone so the camera only triggers based off movement within that specific zone. CONCLUSION: This camera is exactly what I was looking for. It's an external, battery operated camera that doesn't need to be manually charged because of the solar panel. I am very impressed with the features of this camera, they pack a lot of features and settings into the app. I would definitely recommend this camera.

A Near-Perfect Wireless Security Camera
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.PROS + Fantastic 3K resolution video quality + Dual lenses provide wide-angle and zoomed views from one viewpoint, with 8x zoom capability + Solar panel provides power to the camera, removing the need to take it down and charge, assuming it gets adequate sunlight + Solar panel can be attached on the camera, or separately and connected with a cable, providing more flexibility for the best sun exposure + 360 degree rotation with 70o tilt provides a nearly complete field of view around and below the camera + Can set 4 preset positions for the camera you can flip between + Detects & classifies people, vehicles, and pets separately + Can automatically pivot to follow movement of detected vehicles and people + Great black & white night vision camera and bright spotlight + Clear and loud built-in speaker + No separate storage or subscription fees + Super easy to install CONS - A bit of ghosting with the color night vision mode that can blur distant or fast moving objects. The black and white night vision mode looks cleaner overall THE LONG AND SHORT OF IT Honestly, there is so much to like and love when it comes to the Eufy SoloCam S340, it makes it very easy to recommend. Eufy seems to have taken a lot of feedback surrounding wireless smart cameras to heart because it feels like they have addressed almost all issues I have seen with other wireless cameras. I think some of the best praise I can give this camera is that it really doesn’t feel like a wireless camera. From the picture quality, to the features, connectivity, self-charging with solar; everything just feels so complete. You get a full 360 degree FOV via the camera rotation, with a wide-angle and zoomed dual-view with the two lenses. The night vision is really great, and the spotlight works really well if you want to use it, although I definitely prefer the black and white night vision quality. There is a range of features you can try and take advantage of, but overall, even if you are simply looking for a quality outdoor security camera that provides a dead-simple installation, automatic object recognition, great resolution with high-zoom, customizable positioning, and low-maintenance, this is the one to get. It all just works, and does so effortlessly. I highly recommend it. SET-UP Super easy. Once the camera is charged, you connect it to your router to update the firmware, and then can connect it to your Eufy Homebase if you have one (there is built-in storage on the camera as well if you prefer to store recordings on the camera itself). After that, you can install the camera where you want it to reside. This involves just a couple of screws to install the mounting base, which can be guided with the included sticker to help you position the base, and then the camera mounts directly to the base with a quick clip. You can attach the solar panel directly to the top of the camera if the placement works for you (which is how I did it), or you can use the included USB-C extension cable to route the solar panel from a separately installed (but still close by) location to the camera, should you have a better spot for the panel based on your home and sun exposure. I mounted the camera with 80% battery life and after just a couple of days with good sun exposure, the camera reached 100% charge, so I have no doubt of it being able to keep itself charged, as long as it gets enough sunlight. My other Eufy cameras have never needed to be charged externally due to how efficient they operate with their solar panels, and so far, this one seems to be no different in that regard. After that you are up and running, with the Eufy app providing all of the controls and settings to get the camera positioned how you want it. OPERATION Operating the camera is done entirely from the Eufy Security app, and it is very clear and easy. There are tutorials to walk you through operating the camera if you need them, but mostly it is very self-explanatory. You can use the Pan and Tilt feature to manually move the camera around in real-time and tilt it accordingly. There is a bit of a delay from the camera moving to seeing it live in the app, but it is only a couple of seconds, and this is pretty standard for most wireless video connections I have used. You get a view from both cameras simultaneously in the app (wide angle and zoomed), and you can set 4 presets for camera positions that you can quickly swap between. In addition, you get settings for things like prioritizing battery life or surveillance (which determines how long of clips to record), color or black & white night vision, what types of objects you want it to detect (e.g. people, animals, vehicles, etc.) and more. You can also label common faces the camera has recognized, so it lets you know when certain people are seen. There is also an AI feature which is designed to track movement with the camera. When enabled, if the camera sees a person or vehicle, it will focus on the object and track the movement accordingly. I have found this works quite well where I have the camera positioned along our front walk, and does a good job of tracking people as they come up to the house. If there are multiple people, the camera will tend to prioritize the closest person in frame I found, or the one who is moving the most in relation to how much of the frame they take up. In some cases, the camera would swap between people as it decided who to focus on. I personally found this to be a very useful feature and I would recommend turning this on as it works great with the rotation abilities of the camera. Finally, you also get a speaker on the camera which you can use to communicate with people through the app, such as if you want to tell someone something when you are connecting to the camera remotely or from inside the house without opening the door. The speaker quality is surprisingly good, and gets quite loud. I have it set to 80% by default and have no issues talking with people through it. Likewise, the microphone quality on the camera is of decent quality. It won’t give you the highest resolution audio recordings, but it should be sufficient for communication and basic audio recordings. CAMERA QUALITY Beyond the features mentioned above, the most important thing for a security camera in my opinion is to be a good camera, and in this regard, this Eufy camera excels with ease. The resolution is fantastic, with lots of detail even at a distance, and no issues recognizing faces or reading things like license plates. This extends to the black and white night vision mode as well (which is the default) which likewise showcases great resolution and detail without needing to shine a spotlight to light everything up. If you opt to use the color night vision mode, the detail is good still, but I did find that fast moving objects or far away moving objects tended to exhibit ghosting and artifacting blur around motion. To me, the benefit of color did not do enough to offset the loss in picture quality with night vision, and so I opted to leave the camera with the black and white night vision mode, which worked great. And honestly, this has been my only complaint with the camera in my time using it so far. In all other regards, it has exceeded my expectations at every turn, from build quality to operation to safety features and lack of additional hidden costs and fees. It all just works and does so very well. This is simply the best wireless security camera I have used to date!

Can it withstand the winter months?
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Leaving in the Washington, DC area we experience all 4 seasons here.. My biggest concern with this device is if it could withstand the winter months and sadly it's not doing well so far. I live in semi-detached home with ample sun having problems with 2 cameras charging (back/front) at first it was the back camera now the front is having an issue charging; I reduce the sensitivity and all that jazz along with the Power Manager charging still appears to be a concern.. Be prepared to charge in house.. I would advise against purchasing without extended purchase plan. My rating is based on the battery/solar panel charging.. As best as I can tell it's the solar panel. I did however clean it off with a wet rag and that appears to work briefly.

Great camera, perfect for any location
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good camera, easy to install and have great features. Setup Setup was easy since I have another eufy product I have already pre-installed eufy security app. You need to add device, scan bar code on the box (using phone) and then scan bar code on the screen (using camera). Mounting was extremely easy and clip on slide mount allows you to remove camera easy if needed. Solar panel is screwed on the top but it's removable and could be moved to different spot if needed (longer extending cord for this option is included). Features This camera has very nice features such as dual lenses (one regular, other zoomed in) and you can either use both of them or single lense. Another thing is this camera gives you 360 view and depending on your settings can move itself and track detected movements. As other eufy products I used this one also has smart detection system which allows you to separate or detect moves such as human, cars or other motions, set sensitivity and create different zones. All recordings are local and no need to purchase any cloud storage for it. Camera also has small spot light and different recoding modes such as black and white, IR for night and color night recordings. Picture quality is awesome and provides you with both 2k video stream and recordings. Notifications also can be customized and I love pop up with thumbnail preview of the video. Camera can be set to cover one area or as mentioned to cover 360 view depending on your settinds, and of couse there are preset positions. Audio Camera does record clear audio and thanks to speaker allows you to talk trough with visitors. Device also has sound alarm followed with flashing light to scare intruders. Connection This is what makes this camera awesome. Camera is wire free, works on WiFi and supports both 5ghz and 2.4ghz, while powered by solar panel at day and running on battery at night. Camera can be mounted anywhere such as at house covering area in front or at tree or different post covering house from approaching view away. However I do have one complaint about power - solar panel must be exposed to direct sunlight and if camera is in the shade (such as under roof) it won't charge based on daylight if does not get direct sunlight. Once panel gets direct sunlight it will start to charge and continue even if it gets later covered by some shade, as long that there is daylight. Pros: Picture quality Dual lenses Local storage IA recognition 100% wire free 360 view Motion detection Real time notifications Cons: Solar panel needs direct sunlight, not just daylight

Another Eufy Grandslam
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Eufy dual camera Solocam S340 is a great security camera. The Eufy line brought to us by Anker are quality security cameras. This camera does not disappoint. Equipped with a dual camera the S340 provides quality video recordings with sharp images and videos provided through the 3k quality renderings. Another feature making this camera a must buy is the ability of it to pan and tilt and view a wide area. It has 360 degree viewing capability. Fixed cameras that cannot pan and tilt are limited. Eufy addressed that concern with this new camera. This camera can give you the ability to follow and track whatever you view in the camera recording. It takes the Eufy security cameras to a new level. The camera can zoom up to 8 times the standard view. The night vision is very good and records in color. The camera is powered by a solar panel that does not disappoint. I am amazed at how much power is provided by the small solar panel. You will not have to charge this camera. Simply install with the provided quality mount and mounting hardware and watch amazing results. The onboard 8gb storage provides ample recording space The system uses AI and allows you through AI to record and track what you want to record. The Eufy app is easy to use and very interactive. I really like the app and feel that it enhances the camera features. Eufy did quite well by their customers with this camera. I highly recommend this camera. You will not be disappointed.

Intuitive, Simple, and Just Fantastic
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have several security cameras outside my home from two other brands but the Eufy SoloCam S340 is by far the best. Its video quality is superb and the PTZ (pan, tilt, zoom) function coupled with its AI motion detection ability work phenomenally. The best part is that it already comes with a solar panel so there is no need to worry about wiring it to an outlet or removing it periodically to recharge. Included The box comes with the camera, the solar panel, a mount for the camera, a mount for the solar panel, and cables to connect the camera to the solar panel, as well as an extension cable in case the panel is set up further from the camera. Set-up Getting the camera set-up and ready is exceedingly simple. While the camera charges the recommended 8 hours, you download the Eufy app on your phone. Once ready, getting the camera connected to the Wi-Fi involves just pointing the security camera to scan the code on the phone and waiting for a beep. Installation The security camera has to be mounted securely to a fixed surface. Eufy makes this easy by providing a mounting sticker that is placed on the surface to drill the holes in the appropriate places. After this the mount is easily screwed in and the camera is placed. For the solar panel, it can be screwed in directly to the camera if the sun hits it appropriately or in can be mounted up higher in the house where it will get adequate sun. Storage The camera comes with built-in 8GB of storage. If this is not enough, then cloud storage can be purchased. Subscription There is none! No need to pay monthly fees. For those who desire more, they do offer two protection plans which will monitor and contact you if an emergency event is detected. There is also a cloud plan which will store videos for 30 days that costs 2.99/month for one device. Battery/Solar The battery of the camera is extremely long lasting. After I first charged it the required 8 hours, it drained very slowly over the course of a few days even though it was constantly detecting and recording, along with me talking through it and testing out its speaker. I did not have it connected to any power source during this time and only lost 6%. Once recharged and installed to the solar it lost 5% in a day (probably due to extra detection and recording during installation plus constantly watching the live feed through the app), and then regained 2% the next day on a sunny day. Overall, it has not fallen below 90% since I have had it. Note that using the app to view through it excessively does drain the battery faster, as does having the spotlight on. Also, it is best to point the solar panel to the south to get the most sunlight possible for optimal charge. Rotation The camera pans back and forth for a full 360-degree view. It does not go in a full circle though; it stops each way once it reaches the backside. It does not tilt upward but does tilt downward until it is parallel to the ground to view directly below it. The rotation is smooth, has very little lag between command and reaction, and overall, it works phenomenally. AI Motion Detection The motion detection can be customized to detect human, car, or all. It tries to distinguish what it detects in each alert and will label accordingly. It is still a work-in-progress, I have Halloween decorations hanging near it and whenever the wind blows them in front of the camera, it characterizes them as human even though it is just cloth blowing in the field of view. Spotlight I really like the spotlight quality on this camera. I have another one with this feature and it is terrible in comparison. The Eufy spotlight isn’t overly bright, over-bearing, or blinding to look at. It has a soft appearance and does not appear to be LED (I’m not sure if it is). That said, it brightly illuminates the location it is directed at and it is enough to allow the camera to record quality color at night. Without it, the camera records in black and white when it’s dark. Recording/Camera/Streaming Quality The camera resolution is 3840 x 2160. It has recording quality options of 3K HD, full HD (1080P), and 720p. For streaming, it has quality options of auto, 3K HD, med, and low. For viewing, there are two options, dual and single view. The dual allows you to see two screens, one wide-angle and the other using the telephoto lens to record up-close and zoomed in. First off, I am loving the number of options and customization that Eufy provides with their app and camera. Secondly, the quality is phenomenal. This camera puts my others to shame. It is crips and clear both night and day whether in color or black & white. Beyond that, the recordings have no lag, freezing, or skipping when they record. The telephoto is just as crisp, no pixelation. Even Notifications Eufy provides different settings for how to notify you. The Most Efficient will send a text alert immediately. Full Effect will send a notification followed by a thumbnail. Lastly, Include Thumbnail will send both at the same time. The last two will temporarily store footage in the cloud for efficiency. It notifies as soon as it detects movement. I really appreciate the way in which it lays out events: it gives a thumbnail, a close-up of what it thinks it spotted, a description of what it might be, and the time. At the top there is a scroll bar to choose the date desired. The latest events will always be at the top of the feed. It takes very little time to load and play most of the time. Speaker/alarm The camera comes with a speaker and alarm that work great. I did notice that when you speak through the camera using the app, the app stops transmitting sound from the camera. For example, if you are speaking to someone and they are speaking as you press and hold the speaker button, you cannot hear them. It is very much like a walkie talkie function. Eufy App – The app is very well-developed and intuitive. You can customize all the camera functions with it easily, and everything is easy to find and well-placed. There are no annoying pop-up ads like other apps tend to have. The app allows you to customize 4 preset positions for where you want the camera to point. With these, you can easily and quickly change the default direction the camera is pointing as needed. I find this feature so useful because I can choose for it to watch my door, the street, or my patio area as needed. At the moment, I have it directed in a position where my hanging decorations won’t be caught much when the wind blows them. There is a setting that allows you to change the pan-tilt speed, as well as calibrates that function to ensure it is working optimally. AI Motion Detection can be turned on/off. A specific activity zone can be chosen so that it focuses on catching movement in a specific spot. As stated above, you can choose detection type desired: human, vehicle, all other. Also, detection sensitivity is customizable. Privacy zones are also an option with Eufy. These are areas that will not be monitored for motion. An example of why it would be placed would be if the camera’s direction happens to catch a neighboring house or a window in the background, you can tell the camera not to detect and record motion that takes place within the specified spot. This downside is that this option causes pan and tilt to be disabled. The Power Manager allows customization of battery use. Optimal Battery Life provides up to 20 seconds of video. Optimal Surveillance will record up to 60 seconds. Customize Recording allows you to configure the setting to your liking. Of course, battery life is affected depending on what mode is chosen. This section includes a Solar Dashboard which tells you how much percentage of power the battery has. It also gives detection statistics in a graph form, displaying either the week or the month. Extras Eufy has a program that allows you to donate your videos in exchange for credits. The credits are redeemable for discounts on some of their products, and if a lot are accumulated, for a product at no charge. All-in-all I cannot say enough good things about this camera. Eufy has gone above and beyond to provide a great quality product backed by an intuitive and streamlined app. I will absolutely be bragging about, recommending, and looking into replacing my other cameras with Eufy’s security cameras.

Keeps itself charged!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.## Design and Performance The Eufy SoloCam S340 brings more visibility to your front or backyard by incorporating a panning and tilting mechanism that can actually follow the motion it detects. This is a cool feature, and the recordings can be set to capture both the wide angle lens and the zoom lens at the same time. For example, when my lawn maintenance company came, it followed them across the yard, recording the wide angle as well as a zoomed-in view of the person. Very cool! From what I understand from the documentation, the person detection and motion tracking logic all happens on-device. Many other systems, like Arlo, need to transfer the video to a server in order to determine if the motion sensor was set off by a person, an animal, or some leaves blowing in the wind. This can waste internet bandwidth and the battery power to transfer the recordings for every little motion event when it doesn't need to. With this Eufy camera, the logic and recording all stay on-device and are only transferred when you open the app, connect to the camera, and stream the recording to your phone. (Technically, enabling thumbnail previews in the app would transfer the thumbnail image to a push notification server, so you can view it on your phone without opening the app, but you can disable this in the Eufy Security app if you like.) One of the gripes I have with my Arlo system is the fact that I have to get the ladder out and grab the cameras to charge them every couple months. The Eufy SoloCam S340 includes a solar panel, which I questioned could actually charge this camera given its small size. However, after a couple of partly cloudy days in a location that only gets sun a few hours each day, the charge on my camera has risen 2%. So it does indeed to be working and powerful enough to top-off the charge of the camera. The solar panel is detachable, and an extra long cable is included if you need to locate the solar panel far from the camera unit itself. My main gripe with this camera is that there are hardly any integrations available! I can't configure it with HomeKit, Home Assistant, SmartThings, or even IFTTT to automate the "arming" and "disarming" of notifications. So every time I go out in the yard, I need to remember to disable the camera so I don't end up with a hundred motion notifications (and drain the camera's battery). At least with Arlo, I can integrate it with IFTTT so when I disable my home security system, the Arlo cameras are disabled as well. To be fair, it is possible to view the cameras on an Amazon Echo Show device, but even with that integration, you can't tell Alexa to disable the cameras. ## Features - Dual cameras with 3K quality: The high resolution on this camera allows you to capture a high level of detail, such as faces. With the dual lenses, the camera can effectively reach a 8x digital zoom. - Local Storage (no cloud fees): The camera has 8GB of on-device storage, so the recordings stay on the device and are not uploaded to the cloud. If you want more storage, this camera does work with Eufy's HomeBase S380. - No base station needed: The camera can connect directly to your Wi-Fi, so no base station is needed. However, if you have the HomeBase 3 (S380), it can utilize it. - On-Device AI: The camera can be set to only alert you if it detects humans or vehicles (so it does not alert you every time the leaves move in the breeze, unless you want it to). - Solar-powered: There is a solar panel included that helps keep the battery topped off. Eufy states that two hours of direct sunlight a day is enough to power the camera indefinitely. You can check the battery status in the app and if you hit a string of cloudy days, you can always charge the camera with a USB-C cable. - Alexa and Google Assistant-compatible: You can get a live view of the camera from an Amazon Echo Show or Google Assistant-powered display. - Weather-proof: The camera is designed to withstand rain, sun, and snow. It's protected in temperatures from -4 degrees to 140 degrees Fahrenheit. - Built-in light and siren: The spotlight can reach 100 lumens, enough to light up a good portion of the yard and a built-in 90db siren to (hopefully) scare off intruders. ## Summary The Eufy SoloCam S340 captures a sharp image even in the dark, can follow the motion with its pan and tilt mechanism, and can keep itself charged with the included solar panel. I also love the on-device person detection, so it doesn't need to transfer every recording to the cloud for analysis. However, I really wish this camera had more integrations to disarm and arm the camera via a service like IFTTT. Otherwise, you need to remember to open the app and disable it every time you go into the yard.

Just what I wanted to a blind spot
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Installing this Eufy camera was easy and fun. Following the app instructions for set up helped me complete it under 5 minutes, though I had not mounted it to the corner of my house which I’d recommend. For the really goo thing about this camera: you can choose from 3 different resolutions including 3K and full HD… no 4K choice. The is a manual included to help with mounting. Having 2 cameras, 1 wide angle the other tele lens makes it tricky because by factory settings it displays both. The app also hace a nice feature that allows for presets to be set up for quick, predetermined places to rotate to. As with most network installed cameras, this one has a small delay when adjusting direction of view. It does rotate 360 though it has limit point where it has to be rotated in the opposite direction to complete the 360. The included solar panel fits perfectly on top of the camera. Recharge works well but I haven’t had prolonged cloudy days to test the duration of the battery charge. As with all eufy cameras I have this it has a spline build so if it’s like the others, this will last longer. IMPORTANT to mention is that it does not require a subscription to be able to record but eufy has several options.

Blown away
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Picked this up to keep watch on our house, I was blown away by the quality and ease of set up. This camera also will track motion when it senses it. No need to manually track the person or cars. Solar powered and have had no issues with the battery staying charged.
