Fantastic performance for a dual 8 pin design. More headroom available if you’re willing to void the warranty, but out of the box I’m hitting 70-110 frames on a 5120x1440 resolution with maxed out setting on Black Ops, 300 frames on Squadrons, and 115 average on Death Stranding. It does generate some heat though.

When I finally got this card, I was in disbelief I got such a coveted card. The performance? Well, it's a 3090. It's going to perform like one of the best cards in the market because frankly, it is. Great overclocker and price isn't bad in this current market. I actually prefer the XC3 limited RGB compared to my FTW3 Ultra RGB. The one thing that should be noted is in the 3090 version, the XC3 Ultra runs a little hotter than the FTW3 Ultra because the heatsink on the XC3 Ultra isn't as large. Some people have had to re-pad. Personally, I haven't needed to. Also, make sure to register your EVGA warranty, people. EVGA takes care of its customers!

This is the smallest RTX 3090 available at roughly 2.2 slots. That being said, the XC3 cooler frankly struggles at dissipating 350+ watts and it can be a bit noisy before you play around with undervolting it. Besides potential cooling limitations, this card is also limited to ~366W of total power draw. Serious overclockers and benchmark chasers should look elsewhere. Frankly, there are dozens of other 3090s you might want to look at whether overclocking or thermal capacity (or looks) are your primary considerations. For 2.2 slots however, this card can't really be beat. Once you dial in an undervolt the reign in the GPU within the cooler's capabilities, you have an excellent card for mixed productivity and gaming usage that's backed by EVGA's outstanding warranty and customer service in the rare event things go wrong.

As far as the quality goes, its fine. 3 stars. The heat sink is small (which may entice some people) and its a bit over 2 slots which is great for a 3090. Mine had the red clown lips unfortunately. The packaging is terrible. Shake on EVGA. Ny boz rattled becauze theycjust threw all the accesories (papers, manual, a gpu bracket) into the box. I had assumed the GPU was broken until i figurdd out ehat it was. The card isnt wrapped or secured in a anti static bag like the FTW3 cards are. They just slap it idn a plastic tray like a cheap souvineer and sejd it on its way lol. I gave it 4 stars purely because the price. EVGA has kept their proces reasonably low compared to other AIBs

Amazing card, 10 months in. Installed an EVGA Hybrid cooler on it which really woke it up with the much cooler temperatures. It makes ray tracing games viable, smooth and worth while. It pushes high resolution Vive Pro 2 headsets flawlessly. It can Crypto mine on the side to make up for some of the costs while being a beast of a gaming and production card. In other words it can do anything you want and need for 99.9% of the population out there -> Best gaming -> Best production and professional level for a consumer card -> Best Crypto mining. Is it worth the price? Well if you want the best in gaming -> yep. Best in professional application without buying a much higher cost professional card -> yep. Crypto mine -> Yep

It's been over a year now and I am 95% happy with my purchase. Honestly, could it be a 3 pin 3090 so that we can have better OC?. Yes, yes it could. BUT at the time, this was all I could get my hands on. However, under all of the circumstances, this card has been able to handle EVERYTHING I have thrown at it. So there is no reason for me to complain. With a little tinkering with undervolting and spending time to build a custom frequency curve, I was able to maximize my card and hit 14.5k in port royal and almost 20.7k in Timespy extreme.

This thing has some minor issues but overall it's an amazing card. It can get a little hot and noisy under load, but nothing alarming. Running cyberpunk and cod at max settings in 4k with no issues at all. There are other 3090s that might have a faster clock speed or better cooling, but if one of these XC3s comes available I would get it if I were you. It also might cost as much or more than all the other parts in your rig put together but if you like performance, then this EVGA 3090 is worth it. Good job by nvidia and evga.

I’m coming from a 2015 GTX Titan X. This card was well worth the upgrade. It was, however, a total hassle to get my hands on it. I was randomly checking stock and I realized it set “coming soon.” Waited a couple hours and it finally changed to “add to card.” Then I received a code to finish the checkout process. Overall, the best upgrade I’ve done. I game on 1440p and 165, and the FPS is well beyond my expectations. Yeah, it is expensive. But if you can get your hands on it, it’ll be worth it.

This is the best priced 3090 after the founders edition card. For just a small markup, you get a superior cooling system (which is highly needed as it can run hot) and the wonderful support & warranty from EVGA. I would say this is the best card available on the market (if you manage to get it).

Its a 3090. Its hot a uses a ton of power. Make sure you have a good PSU. EVGA makes a good card with a good heat sink. Smaller profile than some other 3090s but still runs cool enough. The high quality back plate helps.

Holding up well so far, almost been two months. Thermals are OK, they get to maybe 65C running at full intensity with a somewhat aggressive fan curve, mounted vertically and placed in a large full-tower ATX case. Great for deep learning on Linux, although when training models it does make some questionable faint buzzing/noise (originally was more of a click every training epoch but I then plugged my PC into a different outlet in a different wall and no more clicks, just some subtle whiny noises — could just be that I had a lot of peripherals plugged into that one outlet including a power strip). Happy about the size as well — on the smaller side for a 3090 so this could be a plus for you if you have a smaller case...check dimensions first though. Has some very occasional hitches — e.g. game crashes/lag and I’ve spotted some questionable graphics artifacts on the screen while training models once — but overall has been doing its job well. Hope it stays that way for many more years.

One of the more compact 3090's, making it perfect for small form factor PC's. It also comes with EVGA's superb customer service. Doesn't have RGB, just does it job. I do recommend making the fan curve a bit more aggressive though, I like keeping temps at low 70's and the default curve values silence over temps.

Great card if you can get hands on it. Packaging is not as great as FE cards but card was intact while accessories was rambling around in the box. Smooth game play at 4k. XC stands for extreme clocked. I haven't noticed any hitch or crashes. Runs all games at max setting in my 4k monitor.

This card is a beast! I have had no issues playing any of the games I have at full settings at 4k. I've taken it upon myself to buy a waterblock, and an active backplate to cool this card though, because it can run hot with stock cooler. Overall I'm happy with my purchase.

Best priced GPU other than the Founders Editions. The card isnt as big as some of the other 3090's,this is due to this one only requiring 2x 8pin connectors instead of 3x like most other $2000+ 3090 GPU's.

A (relatively) smaller 3090, prefect for small case builds. As for performance, the evga X1 gives you some OC ability, but it's a 3090. I haven't had any issues with the card or it's performance. No coil whine, quiet fans.

Best GPU I have even owned. Thing runs cool and take up very little space comparing to other 3090s. It's also the second cheapest gpu you can find in the market. Recommend 100%.

    Big Bang Smaller Form Factor

Very powerful card in a smaller form factor. The downfall of the smaller form factor however is the heat of the card. Be prepared to add great ventilation to your case.
