Bought this for my Mom on mother's day, was easy to use and the video and audio sound was very good.

wife and i love the portal. use it almost daily to video chat with parents, other family, friends, etc. 8" is a great size, takes up minimal space and displays pictures form our shared album which is a nice touch. alexa enabled so we can also control our smart lights using this device. thinking of upgrading to the TV portal to to use it on our big screen.

This is a little power house for video calls and works great as an Alexa speaker

They were Xmas gifts to my parents, our family is spread all over North America, the plan is to use it so the grandkids can talk to the grandparents. Hopefully it requires less help than the iPads they currently have. Setup is not easy, having to log in to Facebook on a computer to authenticate the device is quite a challenge for a senior. Really good audio quality though, good for music too.

My family and I are enjoying the Portal. Excellent picture quality. The great thing is you can connect with your Alexa and enjoy the lyrics while you are playing music. The price is very reasonable also. And portal shows you your pictures all the time, like a digital picture frame.

I bought this right before the major travel restrictions and social distancing guidelines in order for my young children to easily call Grandma and Grandpa on their portal. I love the sleek picture frame design and easy to use system. My youngest son, who is four, calls Grandma and Grandpa every day to check in on them and play games and read stories with them. Well worth the value!

I purchased this for my mother-in-law. My husband hasn't seen his mom 7 months and I really wanted to get this gift for her so that she could video call her son and grandchildren. She was hesitant to set it up but she received help and we were so happy to be able to video call her the other day. The clarity is great and we loved seeing her. I have since then bought the TV portal.

Product is great for video chatting with people that have other Portals or facebook messenger. It does NOT work with Messenger Kids, just FYI. the video quality is AMAZING from Portal to Portal. Much better than any other video chat system on the market. Works with Whatsapp also, and kids love using the built-in avatars and face changers, story time and alexa controls.

We bought the regular portal and liked it so much that we also bought the mini! It's been great to have in the room to be able to just hang out while using your computer for something else. Highly recommended. That said, if you're anti-facebook. Then you may want to avoid. If not, the 10" is better, but this at a low price is a great deal.

A Christmas gift for my daughter! Shes away at college, and I recently got thec16" Portal as a gift. I loved it so much, especially to talk with my daughter, that I got her the smaller one! The FB Portsl is great! Love the news apps also available and my daughter hooked up her spotify account right away! It is more than just a video chat device. And reasonably priced as well.

We use this in the quarantine period to communicate with our Mothers who are in assisted living. We put another one by them and it is simple enough for them to operate. Works good and keeps them from being lonely. We can talk to anybody through Facebook Messenger. We also use the one in the kitchen to access our Alexa network. We are very happy with the purchase.

I purchased this during the COVID-19 outbreak for my parents so they could have some face to face interactions with their family and friends while remaining safe. It works really well and they love it. I also bought the tv model which we haven’t been able to get to place nice with satellite yet, so we’re not sure about that one but this one works great!

Love the Facebook Portal! It’s a great way for my daughter to keep in touch with family who lives states away! My mother can read to her using the stories feature! We love that the camera can follow my busy 5 year old daughter around the room!! The Facebook portal is a great way to invite friends and family into your home when you are near and far from each other!

I got this for my elderly mother stuck in a nursing home for 8-9 months and was only able to talk on the phone, no visitors. I took this up to her, plugged it in and then we all had face time with her on Thanksgiving, first time in a long time she felt part of the family! Very simple and easy product for anyone to use.

Got this for my mom for Christmas. It is super easy to use and she loves that she gets to See us on video. Great cause the person answering doesn’t need one to use it. She can just give it a verbal command and call whoever. Super easy for non tech people! The camera follows her if she gets up to show me something. Super cool
