So I got this for my mother for Christmas. I wanted something she could video chat with us on easily. The voice activation works well and it is nice that it doubles as a digital picture frame for your facebook pictures. It was really easy to set up and is pretty easy to operate for someone that is not that tech savvy.

Bought this as a gift for our adult son. He was very pleased, as were we. The portal has so many extra functions that we had no idea about! The speaker has great sound, it works well with Siri, and any of the apps we tried on it. Will be buying one for my family in Oregon, now.

Very good item to use right now. Mother-in-law is very happy and able to video chat with all the family and friends. It was easy to set up and she is elderly and not tech savvy. The voice commands are great and it makes staying in touch safe and easy. Great purchase.

Awesome product. I am using this for the whatsapp video call with my parents who are in india. So far its performing well, and i can multitask while my parents talk to my 1 year daughter. Though my daughter only learned to say ‘ba ba ba..’ but my parents everyday called to see her growing..

Bought this as a gift for Christmas and they love it! We use them to communicate with multiple family members house holds and they are amazing. The camera will follow you around the room if you move so are not not out of the frame, or stretch to fit more than one person in the frame. We love them!

Shockingly great hardware from the folks at Facebook (Meta) who are slowly but surely getting better at the software. New apps like zoom, teams and webex make this a great video calling device and a lovely photo frame

Wife loves it for keeping in touch with grandkids out of state. Story time mode is nice. Simple, clean, easy set up. The privacy features are appreciated (easy to see when the camera lens is closed and covered.) Got this as a bundle deal and gave one to our daughter out of state. Wait for the sale and get the bundle.

I bought this for my daughters to keep in touch with us. The display is the smaller version which matches the spacing they had. I got the white for one and the black frame for the other. This portal will also stream pictures from iphone and sync to Alexa.

Got this for my parents so my son could "see" them whenever he wanted since we live in different states! My dad was intimidated and nervous he would never get it set up and within the morning was obsessing over everything it did! Best Christmas gift I could have ever given them :)

Purchased as a gift for my mother and her sister who lives across the country. They were easy to set up and equally easy for them to use. As an added benefit I can call each of them from my phone. Recommend this for those long-distance relatives.

I bought two of them!! one for our home, and one for my sisters home, so we can facetime anytime we want.. Love these Facebook portals, would recommend them to everyone. they are clear and do not bounce around like when using your phone to face time

I love using it and love how the camera follows you around. The one thing I don't like about it is that it booted me from the FB room I created and wouldn't sign me back on. I do like using it a lot. If it wasn't the connection issue I would give it 5 stars

great calling option for whatsappor messenger users . incredible sound and camara quality . face book has done it right with the AI camera . my daily buddy to talk to my family. but ram is low and portal becomes slow if you are tring other option than video calling

I'm a fan of the Portal mini - I've bought it for myself and given it as a gift to my family. It keeps us together even when we're thousands of miles apart. This version of the portal is SLICK! I bought it as a gift and almost didn't want to let it go.

This thing is awesome......look at it as a long distance family connection.. if you desire more it as some basic features that a tablet could provide...but in our home it’s a great portrait and music player that has the abilty to communicate with family.

These are cool. The camera follows you around as you are video messaging your family and friends. Facebook already knows everything and sees everything so if "that" is your concern, it's too late. This is a great gift and a great device.

It is fun to use and I was able to use it right away. Took all of 20 minutes +/- to set up and 15 was it setting itself up. I like the ability to opt in or out of features. I made a call right after set up and the picture and sound quality was surprisingly good.

Great smart camera so no more holding the phone or standing still during video conferences. Great picture quality on picture frame which cycles every 30 seconds. Wonderful conference calls with several family members at once.

I purchased one for my Granddaughter and one for my Sister. They both Love it, especially my Sister who always misplace her phone. Glad to put a smile on their faces. my daughter and I have owned our for two years, Love it !

We really love our Portal. It has made it easier to connect with family and friends all over because it's so easy to use our 2 year old can do it! Also love how the camera follows you without having to constantly hold a phone/tablet in your hand!
