Pretty solid FE game overall
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pretty solid Fire Emblem game overall. The art style is superb with great animations and decent voice acting. The story is kind of linear and predictable and I personally found the mobs to be slightly difficult upfront. Once you level your characters and gear up it becomes a lot easier though. Make sure to spend time doing all the activities in Somniel between battles! Like any game, it has a learning curve if you aren't familiar with previous entries in the franchise series. It's basically like a chess with anime characters. Engage is a huge ode to the past for fans though. The Emblem ring mechanic lets you can fuse with popular FE heroes like Marth, Roy, Ike, Lucina, etc. Definitely recommend picking this title up whether you are new or experienced.. I'm positive you'll enjoy it!

The best keeps getting better
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Big change from Three houses, but I have found it to be much more “engaging” (I’ll see myself out). The story surprised me at just how well executed it is. The combat is the best I’ve experienced in the series, and the engage mechanics give it more depth. I hope Nintendo keeps up the great work with this series.

Another Fire Emblem Classic
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great follow up to Three Houses. Engage has less of a focus on the relationship sim stuff, which I appreciated and goes back to the classic weapon triangle. If you liked previous Fire Emblem games or strategy games in general, Engage is a no brainier.

a decent fire emblem but a far cry from the older
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not quite as memorable as previous fire emblems. i find it wasnt as popular, either. still a good game but not what awakening or sacred stones were like

Classic But Refreshed Fire Emblem
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Intelligent Systems does it again with this latest intro in Fire Emblem. A strategy game with interpersonal relationships and individual characters to invest in. Essentially a strategy game that has character progression for the main character and supporting ones as well.

Great game for fans and newcomers as well
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fire emblem engage is what Three houses should have been. The silent protagonist has gotten old in this day and age. I am glad the protagonist is voiced this time. The story is what you would expect. Enjoyable game with old and newly introduced mechanics

One step forward, two steps back
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Brings back classic style Fire Emblem, but jettisons some of the great systems that Three Houses added to the series. Plus, the story and character interactions are wholly uninteresting.

Great game, as like any FE
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great game. Had to get digital version at release due to lack of physical cartridges. But just as you expect any FE game to be.

Un-Engaged
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is honestly one of the most handholding stories I've ever encountered. I honestly called Nintendo for a refund before remembering I bought this from Best Buy. All regret, no good feels.
