It is difficult for me to review this washer in a few words, because you have to know how I came to purchase a small washer (as far as cu. ft.) from a brand I knew nothing about... To begin, I moved into a home that had an old washer that I loved. It held the right amount of clothes, it wasn't loud, it didn't shimmy all over the basement. I used it until it basically fell apart. Finding a new washer was difficult, mostly looking online. I settled on a large capacity, top-loading washer from a well-known brand. It arrived. It was gigantic. It looked fancy. However, it only filled with the smallest amount of water, no matter which of the many options I chose. And, it was SO loud. I felt as though I had moved in above an airport. Finally, I had to babysit every load. I could not throw in a load and leave the house. The washer moved across the room during the spin cycle if I didn't stop the load and rearrange the clothes. So you will understand how much I LOVE the small, mostly quiet, cute little Fisher & Paykel washer. I can throw in a load and leave the house. It never rattles or moves around. It spins rapidly which saves me drying time. Now, is it perfect? Of course not. It does have a long cycle time. It doesn't hold 10 towels or anything like that. With super thick towels, I put in 3 at a time. But, I still love it. You can't have it all in a washer, I don't think. This washer is solidly made and I feel confident that it's going to be in this house 40 years from now, still working hard.

Very efficient washer, it's small enough to fit in a tight space.
