The kids LOVE these. Got it as a gift for Christmas and they have not taken them off, only just to charge. My kids like the competitiveness in trying to get more steps in then the other.

Great watch for kids looking to track their activity, but the band broke after six weeks of use. My son is very diligent about his stuff, he took good care of the watch, but the band snapped in half.

Kids Fitbit. Concept is good but applications are very limited. Good for tracking steps and activity minutes. Wish they would allow more access to features for the kids version. Regular Fitbits can't be linked under the family account so this is the only option for kids. As others have stated the band isn't great quality either but a new band can be purchased for decent prices. Same bands used for the Fitbit inspire 2 model.

I recently bought my son a Fitbit Ace 3 for his birthday, and I'm so glad I did! It's a great fitness tracker for kids, and it's been holding up really well to his active lifestyle. The Fitbit Ace 3 is very durable. It has a silicone band that extends around the device to protect the screen, and it's water resistant up to 50 meters. My son has worn it in the pool, the shower, and even the ocean, and it's still going strong. The Fitbit Ace 3 is also very accurate. It tracks steps, distance, active minutes, and sleep with great precision. I've compared it to my own Fitbit, and the results are always very close. The Fitbit Ace 3 also has a number of fun and engaging features for kids. It has a variety of clock faces to choose from, as well as animated characters that motivate kids to move. There are also challenges and badges that kids can earn to keep them motivated. Overall, I'm extremely happy with the Fitbit Ace 3. It's a durable, accurate, and fun fitness tracker that's perfect for kids. Here are some of the key features that I like most: Durable: The silicone band and water resistance make it ideal for kids who are active and love to play outdoors. Accurate: It tracks steps, distance, active minutes, and sleep with great precision. Fun and engaging: The variety of clock faces, animated characters, challenges, and badges keep kids motivated to move and stay active. I highly recommend the Fitbit Ace 3 to any parent who is looking for a great fitness tracker for their child. It's a great way to help kids develop healthy habits that will last a lifetime.

My grandson (age 10) was excited to receive his Fitbit. We got it right before going on holiday. While it did hold up to water wear during the visits to the Water Park and the pool, he almost lost the watch sitting in the car. The pin came unhinged and separated the watch buckle from the strap. Luckily all of the watch components were found inside of the car. He still likes the tracker. But I'm not impressed with the flimsiness of the band. The verdict is still out on how long it will last him.

Love this Fitbit. Lightweight, small and comfortable. I'm not into big watches but I've been wearing it everyday and to bed for about 4 months now. Data collected is useful, helps me monitor that I'm moving and getting enough sleep. Connects seamlessly with my Pixel 8 phone. I only need to charge it once a week, takes about 30 min. I personally don't want a smartwatch with tons of features like email and calendar, just health stats and this one is perfect for me.

Great watch for my 7 year old. He loves tracking his steps to challenge me daily, checking his sleep time, and generally not having to ask what time it is anymore. Only drawback was the registration for his account is not as simple as described online.

My son is almost 8 & loves this Fitbit. It’s so easy for him to use. He loves watching the little cat on the screen saver he uses it as his motivation to stay active. Another feature I like is that the battery does last pretty long. I only had to charge it about once a week maybe every 10 days depending on how often he’s messing with it.

I got this for my son, who is 9, and he loves it. He sets timers for chores, reading, breaks, etc. He loves to see how many steps he got in a day and is amazed every time he breaks a record. Battery last for days, we usually charge it when he is taking a shower and we let it run down to like 20%. Finally, the part that I love the best is tracking his sleep. It is really easy for me to show my son the amount of time he is sleeping and so for him to be conscious of his rest.

    Falls Short for Tech-Savvy Kids

Fitbit's Ace 3 charms with its colorful design and playful features, motivating kiddos to move and sleep. But compared to Inspire 3, it feels like a techy step back. The black and white screen lacks excitement, and its limited functionality might not impress older kids who compare it with Inspire 3, wanting heart rate tracking or smartphone notifications. It's a great first fitness tracker for younger kids, but tech-savvy youngsters might find it underwhelming. Fun, yes, but not quite fireworks.

The Ace 3 is a good quality entry level fitness watch geared toward kids. My son likes his and wears it nearly all day. I didn’t realize that this watch doesn’t track heart rate and other related info like the Inspire 2. It does include most other features as the Inspire 2 though and is priced accordingly.

My son loves this tracker, and it really seems to motivate him to get moving and also be on time (occasionally, at least, lol). The only reason for the lower than 5 star review is for the fact that the band has broken less than 4 months after we bought the tracker. I found replacement bands that were relatively cheap, but it should be more durable than that, especially at this price point. I also don't love having to sync the tracker to my phone to get more detail on his activity, but I guess that is a given with all trackers.
