Started out with a Flex, and upgraded to the Charge HR & then to the Blaze. Really happy to have a smaller watch that includes the features I want & like. Very happy with all Fit Bits, but especially pleased with this model.

I love my Fitbit Alta HR! It even alerts me to phone calls and text messages. It is the easiest and quickest Fitbit to charge. The battery usually lasts 3 days. You can change the bands. The display can be set to read vertically or horizontally.

I absolutely love my Fitbit Alta HR! The only thing I’d have to actually say negative about it is it sometimes cheats you out of steps. But that’s a good thing! So far I’ve put over 30 miles on it in less than a month! Yay!!! I love the all the features too!

    Decent Activity Tracker

It's been only a few days since I had this; however it does pretty good job of tracking your activity. There are indeed some miscalculations; however it is acceptable as far as I am concern. I had hugely debated between this and Charge 2, since I didn't find Charge 2 too big for my wrist. But far less obtrusive design of Heart sensor (IMO) on this Alta HR fixed the deal. Charge 2's heart sensor was pretty uncomfortable for me. I do sweat a lot thus I tend to rinse it right after the workout and thoroughly dry it. So far it seems okay, and hopefully it's water resistance would keep it that way. Oh BTW, it's pretty difficult to read the measurement on a bright sunny day. So if you frequently check while you workout outside, you might want to choose different one. Also if you are an avid tracker with quite fine measurement requirement, I don't think this device would satisfy your needs; however if you are okay with a few miscalculations/errors here and there then this should work well for you as it did for me.

I like the newest stuff so when Fitbit came out with the Alta HR - I knew it was mine. I purchased extra bands so I can wear my Fitbit on my ankle during the day to get a more accurate count of my steps. One feature that I liked - Steps - was removed, A bummer but not a showstopper to buy so I bought

This is the third Fitbit I have owned. I had the first for over a year and I developed a problem with the band. When I reached out to Fitbit they send me a new one. The second one lasted over a year as well before I started having band problems again. I love the new design, it's much sturdier design while at the same time it's slim. The bands are detachable so it I do have a problem replacing the band will be easy.

I love everything about the Alta hr except its inability to auto recognize many of the exercises I do. I do a lot of P90X type exercising and it never recognizes that it is exercise. It also doesnt recognize treadmill work or Bowflex max trainer workouts. There is also no way to force it to track these exercises properly. I will be replacing it with another tracker for sure.

I previously had the flex and it finally quit working , several friends have the Alta Hr and really liked it and reviews were good so made the purchase. Very easy setup, charges quickly. The clock has several face setting on how you want to view time.Tracks sleep, heart rate, activity, steps, when goal is completed a burst of fireworks complete it.Syncs easily with fitness plan such as MyFitnessPal and my Spark Hydration Water Bottle. You can buy upgraded bands for it if you're not a fan of the one it comes with. I would totally recommend.

I waited to buy a fitness band until they came up with one that was not bulky or chunky, and also tracked heart rate. Mine came with a black neoprene band, which is great when you're sweating. For every day wear I bought a red leather band. It's very easy to change bands. There are also metal mesh bands available. My favorite feature is that by downloading the Fitbit app, you can change some settings. I set my Fitbit to vibrate on my wrist every hour if I haven't done a minimum number of steps. It's a very useful feature. Fitbit app also allows you to track other things such as fluid intake, diet, Etc... My only wish is that it was waterproof as I exercise in the pool as well.

The battery of my Fitbit Flex started acting up so I replaced it with the Alta HR. I've used it for 4 weeks now and I absolutely love it. The battery lasts 6 days, which is amazing considering the 2 LEDs on the back are always on. I discovered I need to wear it 3 fingers above my wrist instead of 1 to get accurate heart rate numbers. The band does not irritate the skin at all like some of the Flex bands did. I love the sleep analysis, the resting heart rate, the cardio fitness. It automatically tracks exercise even when not using the GPS. With all the added features, the app remains super easy to use. It really is an amazing tool and well worth the money.
