I liked it for the same reasons plus it has better features and settings than my regular size microwave. I gave it a 3 star rating because of its price - you can find cheaper regular style for the size, and the door frame was rubbing against the upper metal housing when you close it.

I purchased it for my granddaughter for college and it fits perfectly. It does exactyly what it's supposed to do and fits her room. We love the retro look.
