    Love This Watch!!

I love this Smartwatch! I selected the Vivo 4S because of the way it fit. It was so comfortable on my wrist. I have a medium size wrist and this does not feel so bulky. The Vivo has a lot of really nice features like calories burned, active calories burned and total calories burned. I was upgrading from a Fitbit Charge 3. This one is much more robust. There is a bit of a learning curve to get it set up. Thankfully, there are a lot of YouTube videos to help with this, and I found it to be the most efficient way to get my watch set up to my liking. I've also contacted Customer Support for help and they were great as well. Keep in mind that the more features you have set up, it will affect the battery life. Currently, I'm getting 3-4 days of battery life. It does charge quickly so that's a plus. One thing I was concerned about was how the white band would hold up since white tends to show dirt and scuff marks easily. I've had this watch for three weeks, and the band still looks new. It's perfect for my needs and I enjoy wearing it. It combines functionality with elegance.

    Vivoactive 4s for the win!

I am really enjoying this watch! I have historically only had Fitbits (most recently a Fitbit Versa 2). I really like the feel of the band and the quality of the watch overall. As with my first time using a fitbit it took a while to get used to the software and setup for all the different options but it only took me a few days to get things the way I wanted them. I think I would have a hard time going back to a fitbit. As far as battery life this seems similar to my Versa 2. My husband has the larger Vivoactive 4 and his battery life is longer (larger battery) but mine lasts several days if I don't play with it a lot which is all I need. For women who have used Fitbit to track your cycle, Garmin Connect App also has this option! Overall, I wish I had switched sooner and would highly recommend this watch!

I wanted an upgrade from my Vivofit 4, that I loved. Holidays came, The price was right. Fancier, so many features, love the options even if I don't use them all. ☺ Love Garmin! We will see how long it lasts. Not used to the charging but lasts a couple of days.

    Converting from a Samsung

I have had a Samsung watch for the last 3 years. I am switching to Garmin for two reasons. The battery lasts longer. It is nice to charge every five or six days instead of every day The watch is the same size but the design makes it seems not so large on my small wrist. The profile is much less noticable. The GPS function is also much more accurate which is nice. In user friendliness the Samsung is better. Getting to different functions and the screen view is much nicer on they eyes. I miss both those but I'm getting used to getting around on the Garmin and it is working nicely for what I need.

    Another Great Garmin Smart Watch

This is the 3rd generation Vivoactive fitness tracker I’ve owned. The 4S is much improved over the Vivoactive 3. Longer battery life, more functions/measurements and it recognizes activities once programmed for the individual. Readability is good even with the slightly smaller face. The lower profile and smaller band make it attractive. I bought one as a gift for a family member.

There are so many options and features with this smartwatch. While the price is high, you get watch you pay for and you don't have to pay extra monthly subscription fees to get "advanced" reporting. It takes a little time to learn all the features, and yes there are some I won't use but you can hide or remove some exercises you won't use. Many advanced features on Garmin Connect website let you compare activities, export data, see activities on a calendar, create your own workouts, add created workouts to your calendar (visible online and on your watch). The training plans Garmin offers are geared for runners and serious bike riders. There are 3 options for training for a 5K and it's convenient to have that built into the watch to schedule the planned workouts. You can pause the training plan if you need and pick it up again. The best part is you can easily see the watch face outside on a sunny day. That was my biggest gripe with my old FitBit Charge 3. FitBit would also lose my HR during exercise. This watch is 10 times better. I did turn off Pulse Ox daily and nightly to save battery. At night I turn off the display. I'm very happy with the battery life. If you need help, in my experience, the Garmin Support staff is outstanding and will call you within minutes during their workday. They are friendly and knowledgeable. There is also a Vivoactive 4S forum you can reference. I'm knocking off one star, since you can't rename activities and there isn't a built in treadmill walk, HIIT or hike activities. I have added apps and watch faces from the IQ app, but still those activities should be there in my opinion. There is no treadmill walk currently in the IQ app. For those who complain that the graphics are dull or outdated, it doesn't bother me. I'm guessing those comments are about the ones that show on the watch when steps goal met, goal streak days in a row and stair climbed goals. The content is what's important. There are color icons which look good. I didn't want a high priced Apple Watch and this one is perfect for my small wrist and I'm amazed at all the features. I wish I would have bought one sooner. My experience has been great and tracking my workouts is easier, plus I'm more motivated now. I hope this reviews inspires someone out there, who's fed up with FitBit or any other brand and ready to move onto something much better, because this is it!

I have only used Fitbit watches till now. Recently, I switched to Garmin because Fitbit sense kept dying on me. And, I love my vivoactive 4S. It's stylish and comfortable to wear. It has all the tracking features that I need. The battery life is decent, and the option to download playlists on Spotify makes it super convenient to work out without carrying your phone.

Third Garmin owned and enjoyed this upgrade. In some ways miss the four button version for intuitive, but like having more activities and touch screen. Has good find and emergency features also. These watches only need to be charged weekly which is great.

Really good Smart Watch for the price, especially the sale price. Batteries in the Garmins always last a long time and this one gets real-world time of about 5 days with the sensors on. All the Garmins are very intuitive once you learn the interface on any one of them. I bought this for my wife who has been wearing Apple watches and she loves the battery life on this. While there is a bit of a learning curve on the interface because it is her first Garmin, she is picking it up quickly.

I was worried as everyone seems to have Apple watches but I wanted something different. This vivoactive 4S is amazing. From the customizable watch face and amazing battery life, I am thrilled I went with Garmin. Setup was a breeze and there are SO many workout modes and tracking mechanisms.

Absolutely love this watch. I have a skinny wrist so i was kinda worried how this will fit but this 40 mm size is just perfect. The step count seems accurate. There is definitely a learning curve to get all the benefits of this but so far i'm satisfied. I'm able to get average 3 days out of the battery with pulse ox sensor turned on. Love it that it ha a build in gps so i don't need to have the phone with me. If you have premium spotify you can even listen to music without your phone. I would recommend this to others for sure. I bought it with a bestbuy pricematch because it was on sale on garmin website. Called bestbuy and they adjusted the price right away. Great customer service as well from bestbuy.

Love this device. My boyfriend has a Garmin Fenix 5x which he raves about. Made me want to test out Garmin and replace my Apple Watch which while great, needs to be charged on a nightly basis which is not ideal. All the features I've used so far are fantastic and accurate. Can't wait to keep trying the additional features of the watch over time.

Love this watch, got rid of my Apple iWatch for this and I am glad I did. The watch battery lasts 6-7 days with a charge, it pairs well with iPhones and I love the various options to track fitness. It's comfortable, tracks sleep and other activities. Super good buy and on sale to boot! Great watch Garmin!

I bought this to use as a fitness tracker and watch for everyday use, and it's great for that! The screen is not as bright or vibrant as an Apple watch, and the controls are little more rudimentary, but the watch face is more customizable and the battery lasts much longer.
