Customers have good things to say about the dishwasher's quiet operation, excellent cleaning performance, and the convenient third rack. Many appreciate its ease of use and the added benefit of bottle jets. However, some users note that the wash cycles are lengthy, and a few have expressed concerns about the control panel's sensitivity and the door's sturdiness. Overall, the positive feedback on cleaning and features outweighs the negative comments on cycle time and controls.

Love the 3rd rack, but drying takes too long

Easy to use, straightforward machine. The 3rd rack feature is my absolute favorite. The bottle jets function is also a plus (though mine was missing the associated clips for this but a quick call to GE and they mailed them to me). I think it cleans exceptionally well (I use the recommend Cascade pods), but I wish the drying feature didn't add so much time to the total wash, which can take upwards of 3-4 hrs.

I bought this dishwasher to replace my 30yr old Maytag that came with my house. Since its new, it definitely does a much better job at cleaning. We'll see how it does in the long run though. I like how quiet in comparison to my old dishwasher it is. The 3rd rack is reall nice for flat utensils.
My only concern is that it seems a bit on the flimsy side. Since most of the dishwasher is plastic, the door flexes much more than a steel door. Only time will tell though.
Other than it being light weight and mostly plastic, it seems to work great.

Overall I’ve been very happy with this product. You can hear it while working but it isn’t terribly loud. I’ve decided I’m not a fan of of controls at the top of door but it was my choice to try this model. I found I need to dry on high setting otherwise dishes are still very wet but other than that it’s a great machine. Liking the 3rs rack as well. Also-had a great experience with Best Buy! Purchase and installation process went very smoothly.

We have been using it for a few weeks with no problems. It is quiet and has lots of room for a variety of items. We especially like the "dry boost". With our old dishwasher we had to hand dry plastic food storage containers. With the dry boost they are actually dry at the end. We were not looking for a "3rd rack", but are surprised at how much we use it. The dishwasher has many features we do not use. As one chooses additional washing/drying features the wash time increases substantially. But, it's nice to know they are there if we want/need them. With "normal" wash and dry boost, time is about 2 hrs 19 min.

BUYERS BEWARE: It’s been 19 days since I picked up my brand new dishwasher and it would not turn on but it SHOCKED my husband. We cut off the breaker and called for the prof plumbers who installed everything to come out and our dishwasher has a LIVE CURRENT. They checked the grounding and all is right. We called BEST BUY and was told by Juan, “we are passed the window for Best Buy to return this, we have to schedule the manufacturer GE, and turn this claim into them”. It’s May 22, 2024. We picked up our new DW on May 3rd. ;(. I thought 30days was short… BEST BUY gives you 2 weeks. Since this was a 5 months long rebuild from a water leak from old Dishwasher, we didn’t have Best Buy install the new DW because a professional plumber was coming to install all the new sink plumbing and garbage disposal so we wanted ONE person doing it all at once. We just needed the new DW here by the time they got here for the complete install. We had the DW here in a box for a few days, then due to faucet leak, we couldn’t turn anything on yet. Part for faucet was ordered and took 2 weeks to come in and faucet was fixed, breaker was turned on and ready to go but dw didn’t come on. This was the FIRST time to ever turn it on but there was no power. My husband reached under sink to make sure it was plugged in and was shocked so hard it knocked him down. We of course turned the breaker off and called the plumber. They wanted the same guy to come out so Friday phone call was a Wednesday appt… today the 22nd. When he checked plugs and outlets with his charge meter… they all worked right.. when he held it ANYWHERE INSIDE the dishwasher, it lit up and shows a charge. He’s never seen this. We called BEST BUY to report my brand new DW is finally installed and it’s grounded and it’s HOT. My answer from them….”sorry you’re passed the window, you’ll need to call GE and they usually send someone in 3-5 days”. To be clear… it’s TOO long and we haven’t had it 3 weeks. ;(. We called GE. This first call was to open a ticket “better keep that confirmation number” we were told. The first person just turns it over to the NEXT person who has 24-48 hrs to call us back to continue in THE PROCESS of having someone come replace my 19 day old brand new Dishwasher. In the meanwhile, we have NO garbage disposal or any power to that area because it has to stay turned off at the breaker or I’m afraid another person will get shocked or my house catch on fire. ;(. 19 days… you’re passed the BEST BUY return policy at 19 days.
I’m posting pictures.. see the wand has a green light when safe to tough and RED when it is hot. It also beeps but I can only post pics not the video. When it’s touching OR even inside the DW, the meter is reading a positive electrical current. It’s making me put 1-5 for cleaning and etc on this DW I’ve never had turned on so it’s all getting a 1 star.

The biggest blessing in my home right now. This means we can move the dishes over from our former residence to our current one. Thank you to Best Buy and the installation team for completing my kitchen. I love it!

The bottom rack rolls over the bottom door seal and the top rack is up too high. I noticed water sitting in the tube that drains the water.

Make it 4.5 stars--it's better than good. I've run it three times since it was installed. The dishes come out clean and almost dry. Cutting boards come out almost stain-free, and the stainless flatware shines. The third rack handles thin items too tall for the flatware rack. The best part is how quietly it runs. This dishwasher replaces one (also a GE) whose racket could be heard all over the house. Although it's the same size as the previous one, I think it actually holds more dishes.
What would make it better? An interior that is not dark as a cave. Better directions on what all the washing options mean. Cycles that didn't run for three hours.
Overall, I am happy with the dishwasher. And I'm happy with Best Buy's delivery and installation. I recommend both.

Nice dishwasher. It's quiet, but not as quiet as I thought it would be. Cycles do take a long time. The hour wash is almost 3 hours when you add the dry cycle. You can fit a lot of large items in it, which is nice for big pots/pans/plates. 3rd rack is a nice option. Overall, pleased for the price I got it for, but if I had paid full price I would have gone with a higher end product.

I bought this dishwasher because it was very similar to my GE Artistry series dishwasher that only lasted five years. Rather than try to service a discontinued dishwasher, I bought this for the third rack; and because I thought it would fit my space. Also, when compared to Kitchenaid more economical. I considered other brands but needed white which is usually not available with some brands. So far cleaning is very good. I took very good care of my last one and rinsed everything prior to loading and used Finish gel because I thought this was among the recommended detergents. But now I only use Cascade pods and the Cascade rinse aid in hopes this dishwasher will last longer. I love the third rack for lids and small items and appreciate the utensil rack placement on the side rather than front. Also, the pocket handle is better suited for my small space since the previous dishwasher had a huge towel handle that stuck out. The kick plate at the bottom is plastic.

This dishwasher has a nice sleek look. The noise level is pretty standard - not too loud but not super quiet. I tried a cycle without the wash temp boost and some dishes did not come out clean. Using wash temp boost it does a good job, everything is nice and clean and mostly dry. The cycle takes longer than my old machine but, other that that, I'm happy with it.

As with most dishwashers, this one was simple to install. It was replacing an old dishwasher that had served its time. This new one washes the dishes way better than the previous, and is super quiet. The unit looks good, and the controls are super simple. I very much enjoy the timer on it as well that lets you know how much longer the wash cycle has. All in all, I am satisfied with the dishwasher and will be considering GE appliances when something else fails in my home.
