Not good
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A piece of junk. The BestBuy just delivered it today to my home, and it won't turn on. The display panel comes on for a second and then shut down. Pressing the Power button do not do anything. I paid about $70 for Geek Squad appliance service plan and called them twice and waited for long time to talk to premier support and no once answer the phone call. Now, I have to take it to the BestBuy store to return it. What a pain.

GE has discontinued this model - DO NOT BUY

By July, it had already stopped working and displayed an "Eb" error code. I contacted Best Buy support, who told me to bring it to the store. After hauling this heavy unit in, the store turned me away and told me to contact GE instead. Getting in touch with GE was a frustrating experience. After multiple attempts, they finally responded—only to inform me that the model had been discontinued. Their solution? Buy another GE dehumidifier from their store, and they’d refund a maximum of two-thirds of what I originally paid. This is how GE handles a warranty? Extremely disappointing. I expected better from both GE and Best Buy. I won’t be purchasing GE products again.

Junk , do not buy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had this machine for 61 days and now past the return window and it has failed in service 3 times. It is in my attic, for humidity control in my foamed insulated home. I have humidity sensors there that alert me when humidity gets high. This machine keeps erroring out with E6code. I thought the first 2 times were power failures we have had but this third time is not related to power loss. I purchased this expensive unit because I have been having to replace the cheap ones ($120) from amazon every 3 years. This one does not appear to make it 2 months!

Crapped out at less than 60 days

Cheap defective product
