It is a perfect blender but the container is just too big if you have to blend something of low volume as it spreads around the whole jar making it quite difficult to pour it out in other containers.

Gets the job done. Not the greatest with smaller quantities.

This blender compliments my countertop along with café appliances (toaster, coffer machine) that I own. Stainless design, powerful 1000-watt, 5 speed with pulsing option, 72-ounce jar are some of good reasons to try and replace my old powerful ninja blender. With my initial testing for 2 days making smoothie, juices, crushing ice cubes this blender performs as expected compared to my old 1400w blender that crushes anything you throw in. Only feature I am missing compared to my old blender is the Auto-iQ feature. Other than this has 5 speeds compared to my 3 high, medium or low on my old blender. This blender has two powerful suction cups that helps keeping the blender secure on the countertop. Also, another great feature is the built-in power cord storage to keep the counter clutter. With 72oz pitcher/jar it’s a great addition for family size or making larger batches of smoothies with ease. Pitcher is plastic (not glass) and has a good handle and lid. Lid has a marking arrow in the corner that needs to be matched with pitcher handle arrow. Overall, my family loves making new recipe during this unprecedented stay at home. I would recommend this blender for anyone who is looking for a powerful classy stainless finish blender at a good price range.

INTRODUCTION: The GE - 5-Speed 72-Oz. Blender - Stainless Steel is a compact appliance that enhances the looks of any bar or kitchen. It features a powerful 1,000 Watt motor, a knob for speed selection & a pulse switch. The stainless steel design blends perfectly with virtually any brand of major appliance. GE solved the traditional problem of compact blenders: they usually walk across the counter when blending at high speed & tend to tip over when full. Not this beast! The 4) over-achieving suction cups on the base lock it to your countertop & assure there will be no movement or tipping whatsoever. In fact, try to move the blender an inch or 2 across your counter. You can't do it! You have to pry the blender up on all 4) corners, releasing it from the counter top, relocate it to the desired position, then sit it down. This slight inconvenience is well worth it, considering you will never have to chase the blender or steady it from tipping over! The stainless knob & switches are accented by chrome. This is a small detail with major appearance enhancement! This fine detail gives the appearance of a high end product, one that you are proud to leave on prominent display. On the back of the blender is an upper & lower cord retaining bracket, making the power cord completely disappear, yet allowing for quick and easy cord access. Brilliant design! THE CARAFE: At first, I was concerned about not having the glass carafe that has long been the traditional blender design. So I Googled "Tritan", the material of which the crystal clear, 72 ounce, lightweight carafe is made. In short, the carafe is dishwasher safe, BPA-Free, will not shatter if dropped like glass, is feather weight compared with glass, which is so important when it is full of delicious Margarita mix! Numerous independent 3rd party labs tested Tritan by running hundreds of dishwasher cycles & found the crystal clear appearance remained intact. I encourage you to Google "Tritan" to learn even more interesting details. After using this product for a week & reading the description, I consider this carafe to be a huge asset, far superior to the antiquated glass that older design blenders include. PERFORMANCE: The serrated edge staggered blades driven by 1,000 Watts of pure motor power convert the ice cubes & mix into the smoothest Margaritas ever! Levels 4 & 5 really kick it in! CONCLUSION: I love that this blender takes up a minimum amount of counter space (6.2" W X 7.4" D), looks like a very expensive product with stainless & chrome & is a powerful performer. SUMMARY ------- At this price point, this blender puts on a competitive show @ 1000W, it is really powerful and has good pulverizing power. Unfortunately this model only comes with 1 Jar but the Jar itself is made of durable Tritan material and its the same material used by Blentec. Overall i think it is a good value Pros ---- 1. Excellent pulverizing ice crushing power 2. Looks nice (Steel) and is well built 3. Tritan Jar which is a durable material and BPA free. 4. Wont Shatter if the jar falls down 5 Dishwasher safe but i would rather not use the dishwasher for this 6. Can tuck in the wire Cons ---- 1. Loud, expected DETAILS ------- Design ------- The blender is well built, looks good on the counter top. Its not as big as my blentec and this one looks better than the blendtec. The blender has suction cups underneath which makes sure the blender does not move when being used which is a good feature. Usage ----- We make a lot of Indian food and a blender is a must for Indian cooking for making Dosa and Idli batter and chutneys. We have our workhorse, the blendtec using which we make the dosa batter and we tried the same on this one and it was comparably good. The blentec is worth 2.5 times this one but i think this blender is able to do the same job. Only difference i feel is that blendtec looks to have some kind of sensor, this one, you just need to use one of the 5 speed setting. There is also a pulse option if you want to use. The Jar is made of tritan material which looks like glass but it is made of type of plastic which is BPA free. Looks nice and it is supposed to be looking the same way after a few years. time will tell. I think for this price, it competes with Ninja and not really blendtec but since i have blendtec, i could only compare it to that. For the price, it is a well made blender.

Makes easy work of any blender recipe. The multi component blades shreds ice in seconds. Made great chocolate milk shakes. The large 72 ounce carafe is light weight with a snug fitting lid. Markings on jar up to 64 ounces. The lid has a center fill port with a small cap which helps my kitchen stay clean. I like the built in electric cord spool on the back of the motor base. The two paddle front controls is easy to use whether continuous running or for pulsing. The dial speed control is easy to use. Auto time off is you keep leave it run too long. Beautiful stainless steel look.

Bought it for my mom. She loves it so far. She likes the design, capacity and color.

It's a decent blender, nothing crazy, you get what you pay for. It does the job but can occasionally struggle.

Hhe blender haven't given me any problems since i started using it seven month's ago.

My mother loves it. Easy for her to use with arthritis. Reason why I chose this blender with plastic container.

I bought this for my mom (65) it's easy to use but difficult to release the cup part and to align it so it can start blending.

I blend things that dont even need blending just to utilize my blender! LOVE GE they never let me down
