Bought this dryer because the heating element was out on my old unit. I was skeptical of the open box, but honestly it was dang near new condition and works really well. It has a huge capacity and long dry times to compensate bigger dryer loads.

Great upgrade for me my last dryer went out after 15 years yes 15 years and we got this one it’s so spacious and gets the clothes dry fast

Very Nice dryer that gratefully does NOT roll up or wad sheets and blankets like my MT did! Dries quickly on auto sensing settings. Only thing I wish it had was a shoe rack. beyond that is is perfect.

Door sticks out a little but is shut. Looks like it is open. Looks funny. Dries items ok. Dryer is light.

First appliance bought at Best Buy. May be last. I would give this a excellent rating but dryer was damaged when I removed it from box. Didn’t notice damage until it was in the house and was moving it into position. Dryer seems to work good and dries closer better than the one we replaced.

This is great dryer at a great price point. It is quiet and has multiple heat and dryer settings. It also had a door that has a reversinle hinge, which was one of the selling points for us so that it worked best with our laundry room set-up.

Was delivered on time...works great. Sales person friendly and knowledgeable. Store had a great selection

The dryer leaves the clothes damp and it has a built in sensor, I don’t understand how this is even possible. Very disappointed!

just bought 2 months ago . and door latch is falling off

I was looking for a fairly easy to use dryer. Most important was a cooldown for permanent press and a lighted interior. It surprised me how few dryers have the light. Happy with this dryer. It works well, fast , and quiet. Was a fairly economical choice and I got fast and great installation too.

Great set for my apartment. I have a larger closet where the w/d went and so far so good. Paid extra for delivery and install and it was so worth it. The men who came were very professional and kind when explaining what they were doing. Would definitely buy and pay extra for the install from Best Buy any day.

Dryer is great. The only thing I would say is it maybe louder if you are in the same room. We have our laundry room on the first floor in a room were we sit and watch tv. It can be a little louder nothing that would ruin your movie . It has a large inside and drys very quickly. The settings are easy to adjust and read.

Features Like the choices of drying cycles. Don't like the fact that I cannot avoid Extended Tumble on all cycles. Even though there is a button to turn it off, some dry cycles automatically build it in. Extended Tumble on/off button not working properly per GE; I've had the part replaced once and it didn't change anything. I'm wondering if the GE support team has the wrong spec. Customer Service team was very responsive and friendly, quickly setting up a repair service call. Feature/Function This dryer works more efficiently/quickly than other dryers I've used. Loads are finishing faster than I'm used to, which is great. Tremendous capacity. For the first time ever, I've been able to dry a Queen-size mattress pad with lots of room to spare. Lint screen is a little tough to angle just right to re-insert it. Quiet and no rumbling/rattling. Can hardly tell it is on. Summary: Very good but not quite great. It certainly does the job well, I'm just wishing the functions worked a bit differently.

We have several indoor pets and have to wash and dry their blankets every week but also the ones on our beds from when they sneak up to sleep with us. This dryer not only dries on the first time, it also removes pet hair that didn't come off in the washer. It's large capacity allows you to dry more than one blanket at a time or your entire comforter and sheet set at the same time.

I love the size, the price was reasonable and it seems to dry well, and has plenty of levels of different drying options.

The dryer has minimum features as we like it because we understand that with more features come with more opportunities for failures. Michael from Geek Squad is thorough and knowledgeable. His partner was lazy and was trying to do the least. He broke our external dryer fan cover and didn't say a thing until I discovered it after they left. Also, he used the left bottom screw from the cover to secure the duct without even telling me. I ended up having to purchase a replacement. It must be frustrating for Michael to work with a partner like that.
