We replaced a home-builder-supplied GE microwave with this one, when the fan started to act up. It looks very good with the stainless steel front and no handle. We don't miss having a handle and like the big LED clock on the front. The control panel is on the main door which looks nice but could cause issues down the road as the cables for that are visible inside, near the hinges. We'll have to keep an eye on that one. The microwave itself is super-quiet when it is running. I have to check it is even cooking, it is that quiet. The vent fan though is loud enough on the lowest setting that you definitely are aware it is running. I have not tried the fan on any other settings, other than toggling through them to turn it off. They seem very loud so still we stick with the low setting and it seems adequate for most uses. The reheat function is very good but the defrost function seemed to overcook the chicken I tried. The timer is nice as it beeps loud enough to notice but not in an obnoxious way. You do need to go over and turn it off though or it will just go on and on. The interior is easy to keep clean and so far, has not got too messy. I notice some grease between the door and the microwave frame but if we wipe this over regularly, it should not get to messy. We are very pleased with this microwave so far and other than the noisy fan settings, it is excellent.

Is spacious, quiet and powerful. Everything you could ask from a microwave. Also pretty sleek looking, and matches my old GE stove. Since the door is as wide as the unit, you kind of have to step back a bit to let it swing open, but got used to it fast and no longer a bother.

The GE microwave works well with great features available for sensor cooking. There is a chef connect that I haven't tried yet I will need the instructions to work this feature. Overall it is great microwave it works well gets food hot fast and is easy to use. The aesthetics of the GE microwave looks really nice in my remodeled kitchen.

Looks very nice in our kitchen. The keypads are a little hard to press. There is a very small window on the door and it it too high for me to see in. We miss our custom button which our previous GEProfile had.My husband and I installed it fairly easily.

Love the Ge Profile microwave stainless. No handle and sleek look. Door is super lightweight but a little sharp on the door opening. Just plastic not metal. Overall pretty microwave

The microwave is good, functionally it's the same as most modern microwaves. We aren't using the Chef Connect feature to pair it with the oven. The unit appears much bigger than it is due to the flush door, but inside it's actually the same size as most. It looks very nice and is definitely a conversation starter as many ask questions about it and think it's much more expensive than it is. It's worth noting that the door is loud when closing. Given that it's bigger and heavier than most, it provides an authoritative thud when shutting...which some may like. It comes with a carbon filter and vents upwards, which is good for gas ranges that can't have the recirculated air pointing toward the burners. We have ours connected to vent outside, and the four speed settings are nice, although the lower settings don't seem effective so we end up using HIGH and BOOST the most. My only complaint is that the LED display is white out of the box and our GE gas range display is green. Pictures on the site show it as green but I can't figure out how to change it from white or turn off one of the redundant clocks. Overall it's a very nice microwave that impresses guests and removes the bulky handle found on most models.

This microwave works well and looks nice in our kitchen. I like that it does not have a handle sticking out. I also like the strength and many speeds of the exhaust fan, which we vented outside. The high and low surface lights are also a plus to light up my stovetop.

Super quiet yet powerful. The door has the power panel on it & it’s complex. Have not yet figured out all the touch buttons.

Best microwave ever, modern design is quiet and efficient

We have all GE products including Washer and Dryer. We ordered this and a Profile Dishwasher to complete the set. It has great power and a solid fan. If it wasn't damaged we would love it in our kitchen. Terrible instructions that were generic and vague. Template for drilling provides a ton to be desired. Vent attachment cover is flimsy at best. Its like they assume that only professional installers are going to attempt this. Item was delivered with two dents on the face we didn't notice until we pulled the plastic off. The install is difficult so even returning it isn't an option. We are going to have to see if we can purchase a new door because its all I can see now. :(

Very nice looking above rsnge microwave. Easy controls. 4 fan settings including Boost which is very powerful. Looks great over matching profile range

Recently purchased and installed. Bracket and templates worked well for installation. Chef connect is a nice feature! Fit perfectly.

Had a profile microwave for 12 years just stopped heating, probably due to all the power outages center point has put us through

It does a good job but can be a little noisy at times.

GE Profile - 2.1 Cu. Ft. Over-the-Range Microwave with Sensor Cooking - Stainless steel - both surface lights broken fried the bulb in place after 1.5 years. Will be needing survive or a new unit.

Microwave is perfect in every way. The installers were great

Ordered because my previous blow a fuse. So everything was already set up to mount. Nothing fit, bracket isn't the same and microwave dimensions are incorrect. Now there will be a huge gap. If i return I'm sure i won't get a replacement until end of year so I'm stuck

Loved original item ordered. Because of small plastic piece on filter door broke just from opening the door. Option replc w supposed same model. Seemed smaller, cheaply made than original. Very disappointed w GE Profile of what seemed to be known issue that replcmnt no included filter door any longer.

Works great!! Because it doesn't have a handle it looks huge. My kids keep breaking the handle, so I love it. It cooks everything well and is not as noisy as some others.
