This is absolutely worth the money that you will spend. If you don't get the mount exactly on the studs then you are really in trouble. Best Buy will guarantee your installation for one year so that if your TV falls off the wall, then they will ensure you are taken care of. Guess what, if you mount it, not even a manufacturer will take care of you if you screw it up.

I had my entertainment system set up by best buy and I made the right decision. The guys made sure I was involved in the process. They asked me how I wanted things to go and look like. Some things could not be done because of how the house was set up but they gave me options. Everyone who comes to see my entertainment room admires it. It's worth every penny.

Seeing this site's mixed reviews about Geek Squad installations, I had my concerns. But the three geeks who installed my flat screen and home theater system far exceeded my expectations. First, they walked me through the process to make sure we agreed on our expectations and the scope of work. Then they positioned my TV perfectly -- a big deal for a perfectionist like me. After completing the installation, they optimized settings, demonstrated the various components, and offered tips based on their own experiences. They were even nice to my dogs -- how cool is that? In short, I'm glad we enlisted the Geek Squad, and I love the results.

We had done a lot of research and chose a Sony 52kdw3000 hdtv, Sony Receiver dg-str1000. and a Sony BluRay 350 dvr with a Sanus VMDD26S Wall Mount. A super combination.Started searching and decided to buy it from BestBuy. We were concerned about our installation. Did we want the geek squad(GS) to install it? Checked on- line and the Customer Ratings using the (GS)were not good for the limited ones posted. Our experience in the past was first class with Best Buy. The helpful and friendly store staff at Coconut Point convinced us to let the (GS) install everything. It turned out perfect. Also our new Logitech Harmony 880 All In One was programmed by the GS. Works great. Now I have 5 remotes in a drawer(finally) and only use the 880. I would recommend the GS to all. Best Buy Coconut Point you have it all.

Purchased at Best Buy Richfield. Samsung, model 4671 - 46" LCD TV, (and Sonus mounting bracket) Phillips Sound Bar, Sharp Blu Ray player, and a Harmony Remote Control. Geek Squad crew of 2 installers took just over 5 hours to install. Drilled the holes, ran the cables, hooked everything up. testing, etc. They also programmed the Harmony Remote so it is a single device to control all components. That is a great addition. I paid $100 for them to come to house for review/pre-installation. Recommended placement of TV and location of electrical outlet. Got $100 back when I purchased the TV. Took away all cartons, etc. It was more time consuming, more complex than I thought it would be. Overall - great job.

I had my TV mounted by Geek squad. Service was exceptional they mounted my TV with perfect eye positioning; all the wires were concealed with plastic covers. The guys were great friendly and they go out of their way to ensure that the customer is happy. I wish I could mention their names but I know I can’t. The store I got service from is in Santana Row – San Jose – CA. I had rejected Magnolia’s service and went ahead with Geek Squad and I am happy with the finish work because I have invested a lot of money on my Pioneer Elite 50” TV.

I paid $500 for installation of a 46 inch Samsung LCD and the BOSE home theater system plus $200 for speaker installation for a total of $700. First they installed the speaker support bracket backwards on the wall and that created some extra holes on the wall that needed patching Two days after they left the speakers started falling off the walls. The installer just screwed the screws into the drywall without any type of anchor or insert. I called the mangolia 800 number and the soonest they could come back was two weeks later. So I ended up moving the speakers and installing them the right way, had to cover up the holes with spackel and do some painting. I would never recommend this service to anyone that buys anything from Best Buy.

Eric came out and installed my new tv nad hooked everything up. Was very friendly and knew what he was doing and about the products. Only wish they could move the power box since cant hide tv power wires in wall due to fire code. Otherwise very happy with install. Just need to get my power wire hidden.

My mouting was over a fireplace and they wouldn't conceal the wires past 1 stud bay and I still have my electrical cord hanging down. My speakers set on the mantel exposed wires.
