I’ve been happy with this filter that goes to my germ guardian purifier since I bought it back in Covid era a few years back. I’ve replaced the filter several times. I will say, I just replaced it about 6 months ago and it is already so nasty. It’s sort of fascinating to see the accumulation of gunk that would have gone into my lungs otherwise. I can’t remember how often your supposed to replace these but I felt like it was maybe longer than 6 months time. By the looks of it, mine very much needs replacing and I have a new one on the way. It’s just me and my two kiddos here and 1 cat so nothing too crazy. Clean home. But pollen, dust, dander, and particulate matter certainly adds up. Also, I lived in Albany years ago with poor insulation, and we had tons of wildfire smoke and this purifier & filter made my headaches go away instantly and made our home not smell like humid soot.

I have severe allergies so the filter is necessary. The manufacturer website no longer lets you order it so I was thrilled that I could get it from Best Buy. Only downside is price

This filter is the one for a popular air purifier Best Buy sells . I was glad to see Best Buy had it.
