Best laptop ever and how I destroyed it
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this laptop in 2021 so I've had it for about 2 years. Absolutely the best laptop I have ever owned. I maxed out the memory and added a 2nd SSD for storage. I used it to edit video and it FLEW! Rendering was super fast and never crashed the machine, as my previous laptops did. I did a lot of work in PhotoShop and Illustrator and never did it slow down. It was light weight and durable. The battery life was fantastic even when using PS and AI strictly off battery. The display was crazy awesome! You may be wondering why I'm wring in the past tense? Well, today I killed it. I spilled a coffee on it straight into the keyboard. Did I buy the extended warranty from Best Buy... Nope. In hindsight, should I have? Yep. I was in the middle of 3 projects on it and killed it. I used to work I.T. so I know my way around a laptop. I opened it up and dried it out but now the power turns on... keyboard lights up... fans work but there is no display. I tried hooking up the HDMI to a monitor and even went old school with an adaptor but no luck. No display. I am heartbroken and stressed out because I can't complete my projects which are coming up due. Please learn from my mistake... 1: No food or drinks near the laptop or other machines. 2: Backup all your stuff often. 3: BUY THE WARRANTY. 4: If you are sinking into a depression over killing your machine and losing everything try not to take it out on yourself as bad as i am. This sucks.

||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This laptop have a gorgeous monitor that I’ve ever seen before. If you r a 4k lover you can`t miss it. However, every product have its pros and cons. The biggest issues for this laptop is the lasting time. It could just last around 2 hours by the latest bios under a very light working statues such as Word, Excel or YouTube. The fan is loud but that is what most laptops issue(except Lenovo 7i). I may be not profession al but I almostly have most median or high level laptop for this year. But it is still my daily laptop. Because it looks perfect, the rgb keys, 4k oled monitor and smoothly touching design all crash my heart. The performance of the GPU is not a Max monster, compared to other gaming or designers` laptop. But it is good enough for me to use it as a mobile station.

Excellent value for money!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. At first I was a bit hesitant to see the negative reviews, wi-fi and battery life being top concerns, but it turned out to be an excellent buy! I've been testing it for several days and the wi-fi never dropped, the battery lasted about 2-3 hours on average giving normal use to the laptop, social networks, making documents, videos on YouTube. I also saw complaints about problems with the Gigabyte Control Center software, and although at first I also noticed that it was not working as it should, it was enough to automatically download and install all pending updates, after that it worked normally. The best thing about this laptop is undoubtedly the screen, seeing content in 4K with such vivid colors for being AMOLED is incredible for the current price. That overcompensates for any details that may be found against (working properly with no factory errors). As I said before, it has a couple of details that I did not like, but that are not so serious anyway. The laptop does an excellent job with the cooling system, I was able to test it with a couple of somewhat demanding games, and at no point did the performance decrease, the temperatures increased and with that the fans cooled well BUT, the noise I understand can be a bit annoying, I usually play with headphones so it wasn't a big deal for me. And that is related to the other problem, the laptop speakers aren't good, sounds too flat, there is almost no bass. but since I'm used to listening to music with headphones or bluetooth speakers, it's not something that affects me that much either. There are other details such as poor camera quality, but in those price ranges there are NO laptops with decent camera quality, so in short, it seems to me that with everything it offers, it is an excellent purchase option.

Huge 230W powerbrick required for Full Power
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros: - Gorgeous 4K color accurate display (Samsung OLED) - Thunderbolt 4 - Content creator/gaming/portable desktop I also own a high refresh rate monitor, but I definitely rather have beautiful vivid display over high frame. 60 FPS is perfectly fine for me. Cons: - You must have heavy AC brick plugged (230W) in for full graphics card power. The AC charger brand is Chicony (19.5V at 11.8 A = 230 watts). - The screws for the back uses a TR6 head (star shape) - Gigabyte Control Center is annoying to work with - Can't bend the screen all the way - Fingerprint sensor placement - For USB-C charging to work, it must be 100W cable/charger - 2 Hour battery life (when it's not in battery save mode) - Turbo mode fan is ridiculously loud - The secondary function label on the keys have no backlight! (Seriously?!)

A Little Portal Into Heaven
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.TL;DR: Get this magic piece of plastic/silicon and cross your fingers for a winner. It is amazing. Read the story if you want to be mildly entertained/annoyed. I never write reviews... ever! Way too busy, a zillion other "Creator" projects, etc. This is the 1st out of nearly 100 Best Buy products in the past few years. Maybe it will be the start of a new hobby? Maybe I'll work my way up to a best-selling novel? Back to the point: After such a dour impression leading up to my initial purchase I felt compelled, possessed even, to share my experience so others could to avoid the same purchase angst that I went through. I was on the fence as the specs on this laptop are near perfect but the reviews are sub-par, to put it kindly. Disconnecting WiFi? One guy got one that wouldn't even turn on? What had I gotten myself into?? A huge consolation was knowing I could return it effortlessly (without RMAs or any kind of trip of shame to UPS) within my extended return period. This is a testament to Best Buy which has gone from a generally hated store to my favorite go-to electronics shop over the past few years. The first thing I noticed was how small and light this laptop is. Last year's laptop, also from Best Buy, is a 17-inch i7 Dell G7 (with a 2060) that I got "open box" for a deal that I just couldn't turn down. The G7 is a tank compared to the Aero. One of my other laptops died recently, a nearly 10-year old MSI from Newegg. I basically slotted the Gigabyte Aero to be the new design laptop (self-proclaimed "Creator") and moved the Dell G7 to fill MSI's overheated shoes. Ok. Back to the point again. The Aero is super lightweight and my initial impression of the 4k OLED screen is that it is absolutely, stunningly excellent. The 15-inch screen is a technical marvel. To pack all those pixels in 17-inches would have been gorgeous, but to do it in 15? There are no words for the DPI heaven in each square inch with those squid-ink blacks... it's like looking into a little portal into heaven. The screen finish is very shiny and it does wobble a little if it gets nudged. You will know when you need a shave when working on this laptop. The per key LED keyboard is very nice and the keys feel shallow but high-quality. Unfortunately the keyboard defaulted to a very fast moving rainbow cycle which was as absurd as it was anxiety inducing. So, then I shut it off, flipped it over and popped a 980 Pro (PCIE 4.0) into the second M.2 slot. Easy as pie, despite the family screaming that I was "holding up pancakes by monopolizing the table". Seriously? I was done in under 15 minutes... can't catch a break on that one. I must add that the supplied thermal tape/putty only covers about half of the SSD chips, plus there are two colors of film to remove, leading me to think that the tape may have a dedicated chip side. No instructions or mention of the blue/clear film sides anywhere. That was a head-scratcher as I could find nothing on it. My solution was simply to peel the slightly longer blue tape first and assume that was the chip side. Since it was short, I stretched it to try to get a bit more coverage. 980 Pro worked perfectly after a quick format. Now for the elephant in the room... the WiFi: I don't know if I won the "Gigabyte lottery" but I have had no problems whatsoever. In fact, as part of my setup test I transferred 70 gigs of source video from the Dell G7 to my server which took around 9 hours by WiFi. The same files took under 1 hour to move to the Aero wirelessly and without a single interruption, disconnection or error. In my limited experience I consider the WiFi to be quite stable. I did notice that it disconnected a few times (maybe 3 out of the 40 power cycles) briefly but it returned promptly or switched over to the other network. I added two connections (regular and 5G) so maybe that's confusing it or maybe it's actually helping to have a fallback. It seems to be randomly choosing from the 2 remembered networks with each power cycle. This is my first fingerprint sensor and I like it a lot. Very fast and convenient. I don't find it obtrusive or miss the tiny fraction of trackpad real estate as I don't use it (the trackpad) much. I paired the Aero with with a Microsoft Bluetooth mouse and while it's not the fanciest mouse it runs for a year without a battery change... try that with a deluxe 25k DPI model. I don't plan on using the "nose camera" but I'd say it's more accurate to dub it a "chin camera". During setup I closed the very thoughtful camera hatch feature (which was surprisingly difficult to slide) and it will probably never be opened again. So the "chin camera" was not even remotely a deal breaker for me. There is a dash of bloatware which I generally hate but my understanding is that "Gigabyte Control Center" manages the drivers and that is a very good tradeoff. In fact, the very first update got rid of that awful rainbow cycling and replaced it with exactly what I actually wanted... plain white keys (yes, I'm a plain white Christmas-light kind of guy). On the down side, some relentless Gigabyte pop-up has been pestering me to join their QA telemetry program with some tiny fine print about reverse-engineering my soul and trapping it in their server headquarters in Taipei. Not sure what that's all about. The 3060 is a formidable mobile GPU. It rivals the 2080 mobile GPU from last generation but with 6GB of VRAM instead of 8GB. Ironically I'd say it's actually the feature that gave me the most pause. It's a phenomenal GPU but at this stratospheric hardware level, paired with an 11th Gen i7 it seems natural to just go for the pinnacle. Gigabyte if you're listening I'd gladly pay an extra 600 dollars to bring this whole divine deal to an even 2k... Or just send me the 3080 model and I'll review it? Please?? It's still early and I'd like to tell more about the mighty 11th Gen i7 horsepower, how it deals with 3D, rendering, RTX, gaming and heavy-duty productivity but that will have to wait for an update to this review. A sticker proudly claims "Made in Taiwan"... I agree and I'm liking Gigabyte. The only negative I've encountered so far is that I'm getting crashes on 3D filters in Photoshop. I think I may need to specifically update the RTX 3060 driver with GeForce Experience rather than rely on Gigabyte Control Center. My last point: At the time of writing, there's still time to claim this extraordinary deal with 4k OLED, 11th Gen i7, 1TB PCIE 4.0 SSD and RTX 3060. Thanks for drudging through this chimera of guidance and drivel; may you win the silicon lottery also.

Review on laptop
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Well, I wasn't expecting such a brand of laptop would make such a big difference. This laptop actually does what it was built for. However, nothing on earth is 100% perfect because some function on the keyboard can't work. But, I am kinda satisfied with its overall performance so far. Thanks!

Problems from the beginning
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I ordered this Aero Gigabyte 15 OLED "twice" having the same problem. I bought this laptop brand new, July 1, 2021, and powered it on for the first time out-of-the-box only to find that the keyboard displayed RGB colors but had a "black" screen, no power was going to the monitor. I exchanged it and waited another eight days for a brand new one to arrive, only to find out it also had the same problems. I opened my new Aero Gigabyte 15 OLED laptop to power it on for the first time again, only to find out that the keyboard displayed RGB colors but had a "black" screen again. No power was going to the monitor, but this time, the laptop would not power off. I put it back in the original packaging and am returning it tomorrow. If you can risk buying one of these laptops to see if one actually works, than the best of luck to you. I need a laptop soon because my semester is starting this Fall 2021. I need a laptop capable of producing high-quality renderings fast. I study interior design and bought this laptop for the specifications. I needed a fast high-end processor and graphics card, a high resolution monitor, lots of storage space, plenty of RAM, and xrite pantone color match. All of these are hard to find in one laptop at a great price. The problem is, is it doesn't work. Because I am stupid, I will try one more time before I give up completely on this laptop. I need a laptop that can produce high-quality 3D renderings fast. If you don't have the time or patience to see if one actually works, than take my advice and research another laptop to suit your needs.

SIMPLY GREAT
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So, I'm an Architect student, I got this laptop a week ago. I simply can't get over it's looks, the back panel looks just great with an aero logo, and the rgb keyboard melts my heart everytime. Battery life, the battery is actually good, I'm getting around 3-4 hours with multitasking. I'd recommend not to charge it all the way to 100% as it affects battery life of the laptop in the long run.(You can keep it around 60 - 80%). Screen, as a aspiring architect, good colour Gamut is necessary, as this is a super colour accurate display, it really helps me out, and the OLED display is the cherry on top. Performance, I ran Lumion.11 on this and it runs soo effortless, as this device has a higher TGP. This GPU is almost equal to a pc 1660ti which is very impressive. Cons - The Gigabyte control center is too choppy, it lags every now and then, I'm getting this glitch in which every time I plug or remove the charger the creator mode gets enabled and the keyboard changes to white static keyboard , it can get annoying sometime (If anyone knows how to solve this please reply on this comment) Wifi, gets slow randomly, It's not that consistent , It could also be my Wifi connection problem. The overall experience is been good tho, this is one good looking laptop, the is a beast when it comes to performance. I'd actually recommend this if you're looking for a budget performance laptop.

Great balance for creators and gamers
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is one of the few laptops that has great gaming performance while also offering an incredible viewing experience for movies, videos, and content creation. I had previously tried a dedicated gaming laptop and found the high refresh rate screen to be washed out and the fans to be too loud. Then I tried a well known creator laptop with premium build quality but weaker graphics card, and was underwhelmed for the price. Seeing the Gigabyte AERO 15 on sale, and hearing good reviews on YouTube, I decided to take a chance. PROS: +The OLED screen is incredible. Colors are vibrant, and it is tuned with a more neutral hue than other OLEDs I've tested. It looks better than most $2500+ laptops, and definitely more enjoyable than high refresh IPS/VA gaming screens. +The keyboard is very tactile and backlighting is very bright +The 1 TB NVMe drive is PCIe 4, and is very fast +The 99 WHr battery seems to hold up well when NOT gaming +HDMI 2.1 allows high resolution/high refresh output to an external monitor +Great selection of ports built in, no need for adapters. +Windows 10 Pro, where many manufacturers just offer Home +The build quality is great. Everything seems solid. +Thin bezels allow a smaller footprint +WiFi has been stable so far +Stays very quiet when doing everyday tasks OBSERVATIONS: -The screen does wobble when bumped. It's less noticeable in person than in online reviews, and isn't a major issue. -The speakers lack bass, but overall clarity is quite good -Gigabyte's control center is not the most user friendly -The webcam is of poor quality and oddly placed but I'd rather have slim bezels anyways. -The fans can be loud when doing very intensive tasks or gaming, but it helps keep thermals under control. Overall, I'm very impressed by the AERO 15. It matches or outperforms much more expensive laptops in many ways. Given the excessive premiums charged for the RTX 3070 laptops, the RTX 3060 is much more practical while still offering very good performance. When this is on sale, I'd definitely recommend it.

Good value when on sale!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros: - Great Display colors pop without oversaturation. - Good thermals the CPU and GPU never went above 90 C in my games - Lots of ports including a Full-size SD card slot - The RTX 3060 can reach up to 105 W - Fans are not super loud under load (they are higher pitched though which could annoy some.) - Good build quality although I wish the backside of the screen didn't attract so many fingerprints - USB-C charging works when you use a 100W cable - Battery life was solid for me when not gaming and with the display brightness lowered, I averaged around 6 hrs of use. I also turned off the Intel turbo boosting for the CPU since I don't need it on battery power. - Privacy Shutter for Webcam Cons: - The Gigabyte software, I first backed up the stock display calibration profile and then did a fresh install of Windows 10 from a USB to remove all of the buggy OEM software. I then let Windows reinstall all the drivers automatically without any issues. - The Keyboard feels cramped to me, I'm thinking it's the added NumPad. - The FN keys are not completely backlit which means the little icons for volume, brightness ect are all dark so you would need a flashlight to see them in most lighting conditions. I ended up manually adjusting the volume and brightness through Windows. - There's no way to shut the fans off completely when unplugged doing light work. It's unfortunate because the CPU runs cool and the fan is just wasting power being on plus you can hear the high pitchedness - No MUX switch - Turning off Secure boot in the Bios was more complicated than other laptops I've used so I wasn't able to run Linux. - PWM unfortunately I'm one of those people that has issues with screens that use this technology to control the screen brightness. I wasn't sure until after I used this OLED laptop. I was getting headaches after a short amount of time no matter what brightness I used. I had to return mine for this reason but if you have no issues with OLED screens for the price (1300) on sale you can't really beat what you get here. At full price I'd probably drop my rating down to 3 stars.

Decent Laptop with Flaws
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This laptop isn’t bad nor good, but I honestly enjoyed it. Having been stuck with my 2016 HP Notebook for college and university, it was a fresh a breath air for me to reward myself for graduating. Sadly It definitely has some of the issues that others have listed, yet for a while managed to do what I got it for. I was looking for a gaming laptop but saw the sale they had on this and decided to try it out. The 4k OLED screen is breathtaking, the specs on this are really good, and the design of the laptop has a very professional/stylish look to it. Another thing to note is how well this laptop keeps things cool, the temperature while gaming never went above 90 degrees celsius. Lastly, the active Ai definitely is helpful when optimizing your laptop based on your activity. For gaming, if you can overlook the 60hz screen refresh rate, it honestly is on point with the other gaming PC brands. I was able to play those big brand names with relative ease, which was impressive especially since everyone labels this a “creator” laptop. Obviously not at 4k, but I was still able to enjoy playing at high graphics and at high FPS rates (70+) at 1080. This is what I wanted in a laptop, something strong enough to play cpu/gpu intense games. Unfortunately I chose to return my laptop after a week primarily due to the battery being very weak during basic tasks such as web browsing, and the wifi continuously dropping here and there while playing and browsing. You basically need to have it plugged to an ethernet cable to fix the wifi issue, which defeats the purpose of the laptop in my opinion. For the battery, I had it charging all the time after seeing how poor the battery actually is just after browsing google. Ultimately these issues combined proved it wasn’t worth the discounted purchase price and returned it to look for something better with more reliability. Its not a bad laptop, just isn’t great either.

Great screen but awful battery life
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I tried the laptop for few days and just couldn't justify the price for it. It has excellent calibrated screen and 4k videos looked great. I didn't have any wifi issues that were reported. The processor and ssd seemed fast enough, but almost any task with video or sometimes just browsing, it would turn on fans and then its just gets loud. On quiet setting, it's ok but any medium activity task the fans would go back on. It is on heavier side at almost 5 lbs and I agree with other reviewers that the power brick does seem to make it much heavier as you've to keep it with you if taking laptop anywhere due to subpar battery life. I only got 2-2.5 hrs just with just browsing and video viewing and that's just unacceptable for this price range and thus ended up returning.

Excellent Value and Performance
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Probably the best Price to Performance laptop you can get right now with an incredible screen. Initially had spontaneous wifi drops but simply went to Device Manager>Network Adapters>Intel WiFi 6 AX200>Throughput Booster>Enable. Never had a problem since. Build quality is good, though the bottom isn't quite balanced. May just be my machine. Would be a perfect laptop if it had USB-C Charging but since I game at night and have to plug in anyway, it's not an issue as no USB-C charger can fully power any gaming laptop. I get around 6 hours in Better Battery Mode in power settings. Once your install the Gigabyte Control Center, disable the Azure AI and configure in the Manager to High Performance when plugged in and Balanced or Battery Saver when unplugged. This is not the ultimate gaming laptop but in Forza 4, I get 60fps with ultra settings in 4K. I don't play FPS or E-sport games so high refresh rate is not important to me. Though I do video and photo editing so I value a 4k color accurate OLED display MUCH more. I want to give a special thank you to all the previous reviewers who gave this laptop such horrible reviews and enabled me to get an amazing deal. Your sabotage greatly helped drop the price!

Portable Workstation and Gaming Laptop!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Honestly, this product is a great bang for the buck at 1250 USD. I really enjoy using it every day. The screen is just a joy to read and work on even though I am not a designer or need a 4K screen per se. However, I do have weak eyesight and a 4K screen comes a long way. I do struggle with wifi issues, but it is only because I live in the basement. I just got a USB wifi extender, and the speed doubled. In other areas, I get good coverage without the need for such an adapter. Also, I really enjoy gaming on this a lot. It is just a joy to game on and work on this laptop. It is very portable and I take it to school every day. The battery is not the best, but you need to bring down the brightness to get more hours out of it. It really depends on your use case. I can get 2 hours on high brightness and 6 hours on low brightness. Just make sure you buy a wifi adapter and this beats any laptop at this price point!

Aero 15 OLED, good but not great
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I just returned the 1399 RTX 3060 model yesterday. The screen is beautiful, and GPU compute performance was pretty close to my desktop GTX 1080 OC'd under water (the 3060 mobile even beat it in some things, very impressive considering the 3060 was running about 90 watts, the desktop 1080 about 220 watts). Reasons why I returned it: 1. The Gigabyte control software for hardware functions is horrible, occasionally crashes, settings often randomly revert, the AI keeps turning itself back on. 1b. Did I say the Gigabyte software quality is horrible? So much so that it broke the built in Windows reset, and the Gigabyte specific reset in the Windows recovery menu would say it completed but didn't actually get rid of the data. I had to make a usb recovery drive with Gigabyte's USB Smart Backup Tool (which as far as I could tell isn't a backup tool but just a wipe the drive and reset to factory recovery tool) before I could finally return it to Best Buy. I reset the TPM chip to get rid of the bitlocker key on the windows partition before rewritting it with the tool. The rest are much more minor complaints about the hardware: 1. The Intel CPU is decent but still not Ryzen-level, it ended up being power constrained pretty heavily. Cyberpunk 2077 would max all cores (perfectly playable but worrying for the future when my, all-be-it, desktop 3700x sits around 30-50% at 60 watts ish, Intel 11800 throttling to 45 watts ish in the upper 2Ghz or low 3Ghz range). 2. The 6GB of VRAM, size/bandwidth, was definitely a limiting factor in some scenarios against the 8GB GTX 1080. The 3060 mobile is still a great GPU, but it's sad to see it limited by that (and of course the 100 watt power limit). 3. No hardware MUX switch for the GPU output, meaning the internal screen will always be run physically from the i-gpu (10-20% performance hit in many games). 4. No USB C trickle charging and somewhat disappointing battery life, despite the 99WH battery and trying to minimize power usage (possibly due to the crappy Gigabyte software seemingly pulsing the dedicated GPU for no reason). 5. The hinge is a little wobbly and the fans are a bit high pitched. Overall, I still liked the laptop but decided I could wait a while for other performance laptops with OLED screens at reasonable prices. If you need something now, the compromises on this aren't terrible. PS: The 60Hz limitation wasn't nearly as bad as the consequential lacking of VRR/G-Sync. Still, turning VSync on if you can keep 60+ FPS mostly solves that. I also did some comparisons between 1080p DLSS upscaling, Intel's integer upscaling, and native 4k on Cyberpunk. The quality difference isn't huge and I ended up settling on the integer upscaling for 20-30% more performance than DLSS (25fps ish DLSS to 35 fps ish integer)

Great buy when on sale
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Gorgeous display! Gaming is perfect at 1440p on all titles that i have tried. 4k gaming with the Rtx 3060 is hit or miss but for the most part you can squeeze out 60 Fps on a medium demanding AAA title on low or medium settings. One thing to note if you plan to game on this laptop is that you should use headphones. Not because the speakers suck (they are average) but the fan has a slight high pitch wine. I have heard way way worse on other laptops buts its still there. The keyboard is great both visually and to use. The biggest con to this laptop is the Gigabyte Control Center. It holds non of your preferances if you shut the computer down so you are forced to put your comouter to sleep to keep your preferances. Overall great buy when on sale. I got mine when it was $400 off

Amazing and Even Better On Sale
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is worlds ahead of the Acer Predator Triton I just returned. The feel of the computer is of a finely crafted piece of machinery versus a the normal box computer that Wal Mart sells. Performance is excellent. I added my Steam account and loaded up Wolfenstein New Colossus. I was able to play on high settings @ 4k easily. I hear complaints fan noise...I don't get it. I build my own desktops and my ryzen 2700x with a 5700xt ultra makes more fan noise on 40 inch screen, Frankly, makes me wonder what I'm missing on my end. I know the processor ain't much but the video should be really good, I'm not laptop guy but I like cool tech and this is it. The screen is amazing. The Pantone color is amazing and better than the 1000 screen I spent for my desktop. I work with a lot of engineers so having hardware that is capable of running REVIT, Auto Cad and commercial bidding is a plus This is certainly a desktop replacement as long as you're plugged in. This will take some getting used too but the hardware wise I don't see it
