This is a ridiculously powerful card. Playing all games at ultra high settings, with zero issues, is just incredible. Card looks great and although chunky, am all for the added thickness that comes from the gigantic heat sink and huge fans. Do yourself a favor and check out some YouTube vids on undervolting. I am drawing an avg of 240w from the psu (750w), sitting at regular use temps of about 32C, never going past 55C with the most demanding games and ultra high settings - buttery smooth with gobs of fps.

Upgraded from a 3070 Aorus Master. Love this card. It’s massive and definitely cools better than the 3070. In my Lancool II with a mesh front, I typically see 65-72C on most games with maxed settings on 144hz 1440p. Extremely high quality card even with high quality packaging. I love that it has a 4 year warranty too. Would highly recommend getting a GPU stand as the card is pretty heavy and has noticeable sag without one. With this market, $1130 is pretty good as second hand they go for $1400-1600

This card runs at 65°, maximum. Well designed card. Aorus maximized the cooling aspect it’s impressive. Also, the card is big. Measure your case. Performance wise, it crushes anything I throw at it. I’m really happy with this purchase!

I have been using this card as my daily driver. It works well with some fan tuning. Stays 70c or lower even under extended use for hours. Fantastic RGB lighting too!

So… bought this card because I was so happy about the LCD screen, it would give a great experience for me and my personal PC! Now the joke begins… I can only change the LCD gif once I downgrade my drivers and close and make some weird steps that I look on a YouTube video, like put the pc to sleep, open task manager, reboot some stuff, etc… Okay I thought it would be great if I can put what I want and leave it that way… now the values showed on the card like temps, clocks, usage on this beautiful LCD screen do not update! Stay the same… doesn’t matter what… Now to make the system detect and change the RGB I’m running an old driver from nvidia and I can’t even update the gif without having to fight with the pc 30 min… And doesn’t even look great because the information on the display is a lie… Okay pros: The GPU stays cool all the time doesn’t matter clocks or load it’s a great card You can overclock it almost to the top, it won’t give up Conclusion.. buy this card if you know how to fix this issue, gigabyte said I have to reinstall everything (something that I already done) to fix it, thing that doesn’t fix anything… It doesn’t look good if you can’t have your info on the lcd the way it suppose to go… Maybe dumb but doesn’t have rgb on the side ( the part that we are looking at, so at the end of the day you end looking at a lcd showing fake stuff If you are going to overpay for a GPU, maybe MSI xtrio or Strix will look better and give same performance like this one

Card may lose display and fans run 100% issue

After about a week I got the dreaded black screen and fans run 100% problem (Google it and find out what I mean "master 3080 black screen fan"). When the card works it's awesome, but any high end game for me the display shuts off and the fans run. I have a 1000 watt gold PSU so that's not the issue. Ran many tests with with furmark and gpu-z and it's not a heat issue. Unfortunately after a rare drop and snagging one of these I need to return it. Worst of all Best Buy is currently not promising me a replacement. I would rather just get a replacement card that works rather than return this and deal with waiting for cards to get in stock. Not happy. One ray of light after me spending hours of testing is Best Buy will test the card. Keep in mind the game you are playing could have the black screen fan 100% issue between 2-6 hours of gaming, and sometimes happens sooner. And I am NOT going to undervolt my card just to get it working. If I have to do that then the card is the problem. Also that foam piece is to keep the card from sagging in the picture. And yes I dusted my PC, reseated the card, reinstalled driver's, ran sfc check, checked temps, nearly everything. I'm done with this card.

I currently have this card installed and using it for about a week, but will be returning as soon as I can find a replacement within my return window. Likely Asus ROG or FE. Pros: The card looks mostly great. 4 year warranty. I personally like the bulky look in my NR200P case which is fits like a glove. It runs cool. Stays mostly below 70c under full load. Coil whine is very minimal. In general the concept of the card is great. Cons: The heat sink fins came bent to the left making it look crooked all the time. Additionally the right side fan makes an annoying rattling noise. This sounds like a bad bearing right out of the box new. The gigabyte fusion software so you can control the LCD and LEDs is an absolute nightmare. Only way I got it to work was to boot in safe mode and uninstall the graphics driver, then reboot and reinstall everything. In summary. For a card that is $1200 after tax, things should not be bent or making rattling noises PERIOD. This makes me question the quality of the card. The noise and the bent fins are something I can hear and see, but I fear what I cannot hear or see. This is only my 2nd attempt at a Gigabyte GPU. My first was a rx570 4 years ago that arrived DOA and now this one. So, I will be returning this card once I can snag a replacement before the return window ends. I would not recommend this card due to the overwhelming issues with Gigabyte Quality Control. Just do a simple google search.

This card is huge and heavy so make sure your case can accommodate it. It runs cool and quiet performing very well in 1440p gaming at max settings. LCD screen is cool to monitor temps and the software sucks but it works for me!

This is truly one of the best looking RTX 3000 series GPU's in the market. The shape, RGB and the little screen makes this the ultimate GPU for your custom built. The reason why I am giving 4 stars though is the Aorus software to tweak the RGB settings and the screen, that software is mediocre at best, you need to uninstall and reinstall video drivers every single time you want to change these settings. Performance-wise is not the strongest 3080 competitor, but for my personal rig, I don't need any extra juice.

Boring stuff first. Docking this card on the thermals. Lots of folks, especially, miners…and even gamers, have thermal pad issues with this card disproportionately more than other cards. Fix it Gigabyte. I don’t want to re-pad your beautiful card. It should be gucci from the get-go. Looks 10/10 - This is an absolutely enormous four-slot and gorgeous graphics card. Performance 8.5/10 (10GB is too low of VRAM - not Gigabyte’s problem) Durability 7.5/10 - Mmm….I have concerns with the thermals that I have heard personally from so many others. Why Gigabyte. Please fix. Thank you.
