Very fun to build. Solid and heavy like a tank. The stabilizers are a bit sticky, but have broken in over time. So far zero issues. Its a bit pricey but catch it on sale.

If you’re in to Modding your own keyboard like me, this is one of the best. it’s pricey but It’s worth it, aluminum and heavy duty, the lighting is pretty cool. plenty of mods can buy from the Glorious website too.

This is a review of the GMMK Pro specifically and does not reflect the experience of buying from Best Buy. I did originally order this from Best Buy, but the order was delayed twice and then was not actually delivered. I got a refund and purchased this elsewhere. This has ended up being my absolute favorite keyboard to use for both gaming as well as working on it all day. I made a lot of changes and upgrades immediately, so I can't say how it will be stock with just installing some switches and keycaps. I swapped the case and plate foam with StupidFish 3mm foam. Swapped the stabilizers with EQUALZ C3 stabs then tuned them. Replaced the aluminum plate with the Glorious polycarbonate plate, then installed KBDfans Switch Pads. I used Gateron Baby Kangaroo (V2) switches, lubed and filmed of course. Then the Artifact Bloom Keycaps to take advantage of the south facing LEDs. Even with the mods I did, there is barely any flex at all with this keyboard. I knew that would be the case going in, but am still surprised at just how solid everything feels. If you're looking for a board with some flex, there is a flex kit available as well as some other mods that can add some flex, but I feel I was able to achieve the exact amount of flex I was looking for with my build. Glorious customer service has always been great for me, I haven't had to reach out in regards to the keyboard. Any time I have had to in the past they are very quick to get back to you and provide a good resolution.

Not the biggest holder of knowledge when it comes to keyboards but I love the sound and feel of my built GMMK Pro keyboard. Honestly the only gripe I have about the keyboard is that it says it’s an ice white keyboard. I’ve never seen silver ice before and why call it white when it is clearly silver. It really kind of sucks that I have to buy the flex kit for 110$ and a top plate for 60$ to have a white keyboard like I wanted

I had wanted to build my own keyboard for some time, and this is a great starting point. It has a heavy build and no flex in it at all. Rubber feet are very secure. It won't move anywhere. It's easy to install switches. I have some Gateron Baby Kangaroo switches installed which work great with this board. I might be lucky, as I had heard of stabilizer issues plaguing this board. It was a bit mushy at first, but regulated within the first 2 or 3 days. I haven't had any other issues with this at all.

Amazing starter frame for PC Keyboard enthusiasts! Very little modding needed for perfection! Heavy, solid frame, tactile volume knob, and easy switch installation! Only thing that caught me off guard, coming from a 60%, was the bottom row had smaller key caps so my existing set was not compatible.

Insanely high quality board! Was shocked and impressed with how heavy the product was out of the box, installing switches onto this board is incredible simple, anybody could do it. The rotary knob on the top has a nice tactile feel when rotated and doubling as a mute button is nice as well. The RGB lighting is nice, bright, and vibrant and the overall sound of switches in this board is very satisfying.

For a 75% barebones, it’s fairly good. Though I would highly recommend either swapping out the stock stabilizers or re-modding them. My stock spacebar stabilizer wouldn’t come back up properly. One of my gaskets was also a little off, but good thing they give you spare ones. Apart from that, very premium feel, love the weight of it, and sounds great.

I love how I can customize this myself and that the frame is very sturdy. If you want something to last, this is it.

I am new to the custom keyboard scene, but I have bought many. This keyboard is very high quality and the aluminum case sounds so good when paired with the right switches!

I'm so disappointed in this product. I spent $260 on my total setup only to lose functionality after one day. Something about the software makes the keyboard stop working if you unplug it for any reason. I had to restart and then shut down and reboot my computer to get it working again. For a brand that bills itself as the highest-quality keyboard you can get, its pathetic that they released a product with such a glaring bug.

Works and feels great, only thing wrong or slightly off about it is that the color of it is not so whotw it is more of a silver unfortunately!

I have several enthusiast bespoke keyboards, mostly ortho-linear and split. I needed a keyboard dedicated to gaming because I use an alternative layout. I was not expecting a product of this quality at retail. This is the kind of keyboard I'd expect to come out of the mechanical keyboard community as a group buy. The case, the hot-swap PCB, the gasket mounting? These are all premium features. It can be flashed to QMK/VIA! If you don't know what those are they are open-source keyboard firmware, a true power user feature. If this was a bespoke case and PCB it would be much more expensive, and you'd wait close to a year for delivery. Cons: Might be out of your budget. Will possibly get you into the mechanical keyboard hobby. I'm sorry for the lost income if that happens.

This is a very well built barebone keyboard. The build quality of the aluminum and anodized finish are very nice. The LEDs are bright and color saturation is good. My issues with it are twofold: the stabilizers were all over-lubricated from the factory and I didn't check them before assembly (my bad, but if their QA was better, it wouldn't be a problem to begin with) and now have to completely tear the board down and perform maintenance, or what they call "optimization" in order to get my space bar, right and left shift and enter keys to rebound as they should. Their previous guidance was to try dripping high pct isopropyl into the stabs, but mine have so much lube it made no difference. Secondarily: the rotary encoder can only be a volume controller with the button itself being assignable to other operations. This is dumb. The stabilizer issues are also apparent on their full prebuilt units, and I think I'd be even more annoyed if I had to tear down a retail keyboard to fix a factory flaw, but it is what it is. I think there are other barebones that are similar in build quality and price and have fewer flaws from the factory (Keychron being one that springs to mind)
