The camera works very well with great image quality; however, I was unaware of the high monthly costs to store the footage. Nowhere on the packaging dose it mention, that after 30 days, I would have to pay to save the footage. Now I'm stuck with this camera, that I can't even use, unless I pay the monthly fee. For $200+, I should at least have 5 gigs free, to store the footage, then I can rinse and repeat.

Added this camera to my existing Nest account in less than a minute. Pretty happy with the night mode so far. Has a neat feature of alerting you when there is motion detected by the camera and with one click on the iPhone notification the app takes you into the camera and shows what triggered it.

I did a lot of research before I bought it and I went to Best Buy and I purchased nest camera since then I'm connected with my dog every day and I talk to him through the nest cam and it's worth the money I spent

I added this Nest security camera to my Nest account since my (1st) Dropcam helped me won a case against the NYC’s Department of Sanitation. We got hit with ($100) violations from the NYC’s DOS because they claimed we illegally placed an electronic appliance on our sidewalk. But with the help of our Nest Cam video subscription plan. I was able to pull out the video clips the date of the claimed violation. The video clips were my evidence that we did not violate the NYC DOS environmental rules or regulations on that date. I preferred the cloud storage subscription plan over the local hard drive storage management. Less headache. "Set it, and forget it." Easy setup. Great 24/7 security camera. Excellent night vision coverage. It makes a terrific door peephole camera. Make sure you upgrade your Internet speed plan. Plus the camera spot requires a strong WiFi signal. We upgraded to Google WiFi wireless router for better WiFi and video support. It is a great investment for your home security.

Very well made, the quality is absolutely top notch. The image quality is acceptable on mobile devices, I will have to check the downloaded quality later. The Nest app works great and I would always know when my cat enters my study room through push notification.

Awesome and typical nest/google product. Have been using nest cameras for over 4 years and this camera is still going strong. I bought an additional one for another location. Cameras seldom have drop off issues and are extremely high quality and to my opinion are over engineered. They last for ever and their app is extremely easy to use and set up. A most for those who don't compromise quality/reliability over price.

The image was very clear, super easy to install Definitely don’t take a genius to install it. Love how durable it feels and the quality of it just is great. The app was easy to use too to link tot he camera and love how the night mode is great. Definitely would repurchase. I didn’t subscribe to get video recording for 10days I just use what it came with because I don’t need that many days. Works perfect for me

We read a bunch of reviews before buying and are so glad we did. This was so easy to set up. We use it to check in our pets while we are away it never gets old. not to mention the added security. Be aware if you want to save your recordings you should probably pay the $10 a month for the 'nest aware' subscription. You don't have to, but I think we will because our free subscription is running out.

I bought this mainly so I could check on my baby(yorkie) while I am at work. Set up was easy, literally took 3 minutes. I was amazed at how wide the angle was for such a little camera!! I love being able to take to my pup while I am away!! I will definitely be purchasing more of these for the rest of my house!!

The cameras work as advertised. They were very easy to set up and get great pictures on line when we are away. We like the fact that we can easily move them around from room to room and check on our dog while we are away which is an additional bonus to the security they provide. We would highly recomme them to anybody in the market for security cameras.

The added security and peace of mind means a lot. I was surprised the sensitivity of camera to see motion outside up to 100 feet. Impressive. After my 1st one, I bought a 2nd. Planning of getting more. I would like an outside model to make use of night vision. Night vision lights reflect off glass and makes it unusable for outside surveillance. I still think they are great.

I purchased this Nest Cam for my parents to use whenever someone comes knocking on our door unannounced. It works perfectly fine, clear image and sound is superb! The only reason why I would give 4 star is that the recording service is soo pricey. You only get that continuous recording if you purchase the subscription. 10 day of vid history for $100/year or 30 day history for $300/year.

So far we love them. Bought two of them and have them sitting on a high shelf covering all three doors. Husband's account is primary and mine is secondary and are not set to come on unless both phones are away from the house and there is movement. Unfortunately that does not always work, as sometimes when he is gone and I am home it's still alerts me that I am moving in the house. So I have to go in and turn off the camera, so that's a little inconvenient.

I purchased this camera to install in my home for my elderly mother. It is truly a life saver during these unexpected times. Don’t know what I would have done without it!!

Before purchasing this product I knew absolutely nothing about security cameras or CCTV for protecting my small business. We moved into a location which has a CCTV system from 2007 and desperately needed to upgrade our video monitoring to 1080p HD. With the advancements in technology a 11 year old security system is ancient so I began exploring our options. This Nest Indoor camera provides great video imaging as well as cloud based storage for a small annual payment. I can easily set notifications as well as add more cameras as my business grows. Honestly for someone who knows very little about security cameras or doesn't want to deal with the hassle of getting professional system installers this is definitely a viable option to protect your most valuable assets.

I have used this camera for about half year. The camera's images are good at daytime. However, the software is poor. I keep getting notifications "Your camera noticed some activity" while there was nothing moving. The night vision is also very poor compared to my another much cheaper Amcrest camera.

I set up all 3 cameras in minutes it is so easy to do! Love the resolution, you can really see details. Taking advantage of the 30 day free Nest Aware and will continue when the trial period is over. Contunuous recording with push alerts triggered by movement or sounds make it ideal for a protective dog lover to check in and watch his angel while at work during the day.
