We've been using products by H&R Block for decades! I've found the software reliable and helpful. Up to the day of filing, updates are current keeping things up to date! Over the years, this software has minimized/eliminated mistakes that are easily made, and has, at times, pointed me to deductions I missed! Good product, and I recommend it. I'm not doing a comparison with other programs, because I just haven't used them! As I titled this: our go to tax program.

I switched from turbo-tax two years ago and it was the right decision. K&R swallowed my old turbo-tax records just fine, and I think it did a fine job on my schedule D - something that turbo-tax started charging extra for.

I've been using H&R Block Deluxe software for several years now and find the program generally easy to use. I would say there is a bit of a learning curve, but once you understand the way the software works, it is a breeze. There may be some unique situations where you have to dig deeper to figure something out, but that is rare. Also, I see several reviews complaining about a lack of activation code. I don't know if something has changed or if those reviewers just didn't know where to looks, but I had no issue. As soon as you log into your digital library to download the program, there is a key code clearly listed there.

I’ve used HR Block tax software for years. It is consistently offered at better prices than Turbo Tax and has multiple options depending on your complexity. And if you don’t need to file a state return, be sure to save money by eliminating purchase of the state portion of the software.

been using this for years. easy to use. my only complaint this year was Best Buy didn't provide the activation code which required me to call Best Buy support (and be transferred to 3 different people) before being told I had to call H&R block support to get the activation code.

Had a code issue that made me call BB and HR BLOCK to resolve. 30 minute inconvenience. This software makes taxes very easy. Compared to the competitor I am a fan of this software.

Works the same as the previous years I got it. Gets the job done quick. File up to 5 Federal taxes. Make sure you have a Best Buy acct because the key will be in your digital library in your BB account.
