The collar has been a huge stress reliever. Before letting our dogs out we'd have to keep a close eye on them since we live in the country. Now we can let them out and have the peace of mind of knowing where they are. Before this, they would chase after deer that would come into the yard. The turning point was spending 3 hours looking for them. They did take a bit to get set up initially but now I can easily add other fences. Their beacon accessories have worked well with the collars too. Overall, I've been happy with them. The only complaint is the GPS sensor does from time to time show them outside of the fence even though they are in the middle of the yard.

Keeping my plott hound/pit bull safe and home. In fact, just the other day, I was talking with a neighbor and his dog at the end of our drive/street when both of them saw Morty running full speed down the drive towards us. The gate was open, the neighbors beagle sounding off, and still the halo collar had my dog stop just before he got to the site where our gate typically would be. This reaction came before any warning signal was tripped (despite his affinity for play with other dogs) due to him having been conditioned by the halo collar’s unique warning/boundary feature. My neighbor was so impressed that he drove home and had a collar ordered for his dog within the hour. Best collar ever.

Halo Collar has really helped improve my dogs quality of life. The halo support staff have been wonderful in assisting with setup and a warranty replacement.

The collar has a lot of features. Allows you to customize a lot of settings. Great step by step training videos as well. I bought both this and Spoton and I like this collar better. Cons: the beacons are hard to set up and the range can vary quite a bit. I wanted to use the beacon to keep the dog away from the shed where the cat lives and the boundary is hard to set. I also don't like how you havev to watch all the training videos in order, you can't skip to what you need. This would be fine if this was a completely new tool for your dog. I have paid a lot to trainers to previously "static" train my dog. My dogs are very familiar with this type of training and i just needed very specific training to understand this specific device and i was very time consuming to get to the videos i needed. That being said I do like the collar and think it is very much worth the investment so far.

This is the best thing for anyone that has a big dog, especially if you have a big yard without a fence. The gps function lets you set up acreages or small yards without worry. The training is clear and precise and the support is excellent! This is not a plug and play product, but there are videos that take you through the process step by step. I am very happy with our Halo collar and can say there is nothing out there like it. It is well worth the investment if you want to keep your dog safe.

Well, let me start by saying i think this is a great idea, a wonderful app and training guide. We purchased this as we were planning to move and switching our escape artist doggie from an invisible fence system (with a physical wire) over to Halo. When we purchased the Halo collar system, you could still PHYSICALLY WALK THE PROPERTY and create a very specific fence. This seemed like a dream come true because we were moving to a house that although it has a physical fence, there are places where we dont have 100% confidence in the fence so we want to be able to keep her from even getting within several feet of it to avoid any temptation to even think about climbing over. She is super smart and did well with the invisible fence concept, and this yard is much larger with lots more foliage. We wanted to het started before we actually moved, so that the transition would be as smooth as possible. My husband started setting up a fence and testing it by walking the property and then we would make necessary adjustments. Suddenly and WITHOUT WARNING they removed this feature from the app completely. We spent hours trying to figure it out and getting completely frustrated because suddenly something we were able to do didnt work. I finally reached out to support (which is phenomenal by the way) and learned that the walk-the-property feature has been disabled. Well that's just great. So i have been trying to set my fence up via the TEDIOUS process of dragging those little points on the gps image map and constantly getting error messages that i am too close to a building. I live in a subdivision. There is a HOUSE on either side of me. This is beyond maddening and at this point (2 months after we purchased the system) we still aren't able to use it. I walked the property and tested the collar this morning. It seemed to be set as i wanted it. However, when i brought our doggie out to walk the yard, she received a warning beep where she should not have. I may just give up and return it. Its great if you can just make a square fence and be done with it, but if youre dealing with a unique fence design and oddly enough, BUILDINGS, you might not be able to get this thing to work. As of right now i am utterly and completely frustrated with the entire thing.

I have family who first began using this collar when it came out. It worked wonders with their dog. So I decided to get one for mine. It has had some hiccups with not wanting to charge or stay connected which I'm positive was just a glitch. However, Halo has been great to work with and I was able to get a replacement collar. Everything has been great since and I would highly recommend this company to others.

I initially went to Halo as I live out in the county and have a large yard. My lab quickly learned the fences and now some days he wears the collar and some days he doesn't. Trying to train another dog and this one is taking a bit longer but still progressing. I only gave it 4 stars as I have had instances where the GPS fence shifts and my dog may be in a safe zone but gets a notification. Also, wish the battery life was longer than 16 - 20 hours. I do like that I can go visit other friends, bring my dog(s) and quickly create a fence for them at my friends house.

I have had nothing but an excellent experience with my collar, and the Halo support staff. My dog Heidi loves it to as I could finally free her from her backyard and give her some freedom. Well worth the price….

My halo collar is awesome. My regular in ground electric fence could not hold my determined pup in. Once he knew he could escape, he did. With halo he gets zapped over and over if he leaves the fenced area. Until he returns. It’s worked like a charm. And when it had a problem, halo sent a replacement asap. Super happy with this company.

Flexible GPS dog fence that goes where you go, we use it regularly on separate locations and have taken with us to set a GPS boundary while away at a vacation rental home. The ability to monitor the dogs location in real time is a priceless. The app enables tailoring the correction level to location and pets behavior.

This has been working great. Mine did stop working within the first month but they have been great I working with me to get a replacement!!

Incredible customer service. Bought Halo 1 three years ago and it stopped working today. They are sending me a Halo3 as a replacement for free. Collar and fences are customer and dog friendly. Sierra B. is the best customer service representative ever.

We had a collar that stopped receiving wifi and would not update. I called the Dog Park and spoke to Sierra B. She walked me through several fixes and was patient and kind. when nothing worked she helped get a replacement. Sierra understands customer service and I greatly appreciate her!

Great company! Worth every penny, keeps my dog safe and I don’t have to wonder where she goes over the fence if she does, the app shows everything. Easy to use. Great, great customer service. I had a collar stop working and it was easy to get the warranty replacement!

Hannah was awesome! She was able to resolve my issue very quickly. She was very polite, friendly, efficient, knowledgeable, & professional. I’ve only had my Halo collars (2) for less than 30 days & needed a replacement strap. She got that all submitted. Hannah also provided some training suggestions. She provided more info besides what I was originally calling about. I appreciate that SO very much.

We bought this collar for our aussie a little while ago and it has been amazing not having to worry about her exploring outside without any fences! The technical support agents have also been a huge help with questions arise!

This collar has been wonderful! I would recommend it. I reduced one star because we recently had some technical difficulties woth it. However, Halo’s customer service was absolutely amazing. I was able to speak with someone immediately about my issue and they resolved it quickly!
