My old slow cooker that i had for over 10 years finally went kaput, so i needed a new one. They don't make them the way they used to, but this one has some great features that make up for a lot. Love the lid that clasps on & the timer function that switches to warm when i lose track of time. It is bigger than my previous, which isn't bad by itself, but odd how the lip of the insert is so wide. Also seems to cook hotter than my old one, so have to be careful when cooking in it.

Nicest one we've had to date. Large enough to actually make a nice meal and really like the lid snd temp probe feature

This is my first crock pot and my son got it for me as a Christmas gift. It is perfect in every way. It is easy to clean and digital setting are helpful for precise and accurate settings. This is a beautiful addition to my kitchen appliances.

I did a lot of research in purchasing my new crock pot. I needed one that was large enough for big meals, but functional enough to automatically turn to warm for those night when everyone gets home at a different time. This performs wonderfully! A great timesaver!

We had 1 similar to this that my wife wore out. So when I went to replace it, I couldn't find one that had all of the options that the other one had until I found this one. I could not believe that it was so hard to find a nice affordable programmable crockpot in the size she liked! Not only was this one stainless steel, it was one quart bigger than her last one and needless to say she was ecstatic about this crockpot!

We use this on a daily basis. Love all the settings and being able to set the cook time for low to high cooking. Let things cook all day or heat things up fast when needed. Looking at buying a second one for our large family.

I love it. This product makes your life so much easier. I hate staying in the kitchen, but with slow cooker you don't have to. Just prepare the chicken, add the spicies, and veggies, place all of them in the cooker, set up the time and come back when the time is done.

I've owned many slow cookers and this is my favorite (so far!) The controls and features are easy to use, the included thermometer is an absolute life saver (literally) and the unit is fairly stylish.

Simply the best crock/slow cooker appliance ever. Easy controls! Great to travel! Makes perfect food, timer and heat is spot on! Keeps food warm after cooking.. Have not used cooking probe, but cant wait. Apple cobbler, heaven... BBQ beans, yum grub!! No regrets!

I love it, love it, love it! Love it again! It is the best thing that could happen to my kitchen. From beef stews, to pork dishes, chicken and pasta meals, I can cook just about every entree my heart desires, with minimal effort and fantastic results. The slow cooker is very easy to use, easy to clean too, extremely well made and bringing an elegant look to my kitchen. Such a bargain! I am so glad for this purchase!

This is the best crockpot I've ever owned. So easy to use, and versatile! Cooks great! Still trying out recipes but so far I'm very pleased.

I sent this to my mom for Mother's Day and she loves it! She had never cooked using a slow cooker before but wanted to cut down her time in the kitchen every night and she is really enjoying this! She especially loves the meat thermometer that can be used without even opening the lid. I'm thinking of getting one of these for myself now! Added bonus: Ships free to Anchorage, AK...that's VERY RARE. Way to go, Best Buy!

I wanted this crockpot to handle a large chicken. You can set it for the cook time and when it's done, it switches to warm so that your food does not overcook. It also stores nicely inside my cabinets, so it's always handy.

This is my first slow cooker. Works great, easy to use, and a great price!

Bought as a gift for my wife's birthday, she likes kitchen gadgets and our daughter in-law had received one for Christmas and my wife appeared to want one as a replacement for an older basic Rival slow cooker we had for years. She used it yesterday to cook a pork roast and the unit cooked the roast in about half the time as the older Rival unit and when it reached the set internal temperature the slow cooker dropped down to warming temperature. The shorter cooking time may be due to the lid's tighter seal, where the lid on the older Rival unit did have some slight gaps that leaked more vapors. The Hamilton-Beach slow cooker does have the feature that the lid can be latched in placed to travel with the slow cooker when bringing food to a party or pot-luck get-together.

Love the size and the probe. Works great and the progamable features is what sold me on this

Whether manual or program cook, this slow,cooker is easy to use. I just wish the crock was not so heavy. It's very cumbersome to clean.

Made Christmas Day Ham in it...and several meals since...she loves it!

I've had this slow cooker for about a month and so far I like it very much. It's easy to program and use, and works as well as any slow cooker I've ever had. I like having the option of just turning it on and using it like a more conventional crock pot. The lid locks seem like they would be nice if I wanted to take the slow cooker with me to a potluck or something, but I haven't tried this so I can't say how well that works. I also haven't tried the temperature probe, so I can't say anything about how useful (or not) that is. I can't say much about the durability because a month isn't long. So far there are no problems, and the only reason I haven't rated this higher is because I haven't owned it that long. It's kind of stupid for Best Buy to ask for a review after such a short time if they want information about the durability.
