Hisense has really stepped up their tv game. I have a 65 inch u8 series and although this tv does not have the same bells and whistles, it is still impressive for the price I got it at ($210 post tax)

Good TV, it’s thin & light. The color and sound are good. The 1st one I bought didn’t work (white screen). The reason for 3 stars

    Great TV, bad operating system

The picture quality is amazing, five stars, once all of the A.I. garbage is turned off. The picture is bright and colorful. The sound is loud, but lacks bass and clarity. The Google TV operating system is terrible and barely usable, the remote control is truly awful. The TV will not remember all of the settings applied to each input. I am constantly having to change the settings back to what I had previously chosen. This TV could be improved with a software update, but will it?

Great picture with a few cons

Pros: Good picture quality for the price. Lots of customization in settings. Movies and games looks fantastic. Cons: If you want to use apps, you have to log into a google account. The internal antenna doesn't work. I still had to connect an antenna. After 6 months it developed a thin horizontal black line across the screen. It's still within warranty, so I'm working on getting a replacement. I will try to update review after dealing with Hisense. Smart tvs bombard you with constant advertisements on the home screen.

The TV this is replacing is a 40” that is nearly 8-9 years old, so it feels like quite an upgrade, size wise. The display is great, very crisp and bright picture. I’m only giving 3 stars since it is very slow. Whether launching apps or simply switching between content, it lags like crazy. The built in voice command feature would be great if it worked faster than it does. Yes, it really is slow enough to make that much of a difference. I purchased it on sale so not bad for the price, but definitely not worth the full amount.

The TV was fine, at first. After having it for about 5 months, I can say the apps lag which ends in having to restart the TV. Often if I have my Pandora playing, then go into something else, then eventually back in my Pandora the music plays with no sound again resulting in having to restart the TV.

Picture good…but cannot download Xfinity app so have to purchase newer fire stick to be able to access service. Should say that in description.

For price you get a very good TV with Apps by Google. D8d not like the OS of TV system. The Remote is a poorly made and without voice communication. Would not li Pair with Cox Smart Remote.

It’s nothing special but it works for a TV in a rarely used room. Would definitely spend more on a living room tv.

Very disappointed with the picture quality, but to be fair, it’s a $200 tv. Either way, it’s 2024, it claims to be in 4K but it’s choppy when I plug in a Roku stick
