    I bought this TV because it had a favorable review on the RTINGS website, including that the picture and color was really good out-of-box, without any calibration needed. I would say the picture DOES look nice, as long as there is no motion or panning in the content you are viewing, but I did not buy a TV to enjoy the still shots on screensaver mode. I'll note here at the top that we have a good wifi connection (download speed near 300mb/s on a phone where this TV is located) and I have made sure the TV's software is up to date. 1) The Google TV interface is extremely laggy, especially upon starting the TV, and any time after returning from an app to the home screen. By switching to Apps Only mode the lag goes away, however you cannot use the voice feature of the remote in Apps Only mode, which I do not understand. I guess it is Google trying to force you to use the regular interface because there are less ads in the Apps Only mode? We get a lot of "Something Went Wrong" error messages when trying to enter apps or start content. 2) This is the biggest issue: sports are unwatchable on this TV (including on Max, Prime, and Hulu). Live TV via the antenna looks fine, but apparently the 60Hz refresh rate can't handle HD streaming of sports, or the scaling is off, or something. Point being there is what I think is called judder, and it is extreme. This judder is visible with other HD content as well, and particularly bad during any type of panning shots, but I have found it most egregious with sports. I have messed with every motion enhancement feature of this TV to try to combat this issue (including turning all of them OFF), but there has been no combination that removes the judder. 3) You cannot use a 5 GHz wifi connection, at least on my set. It allows me to connect to the 5 GHz network, but will disconnect within a couple of minutes of streaming. Using the 2.4 GHz connection instead, which has 'excellent' connection per the TV's wifi menu, we will get 25-40 mb/s download speed using the built-in browser app to test. I understand wifi radios in TVs aren't as strong as those built into our phones and computers, but this download speed should still be plenty fast enough for standard HD streaming. I am outside of the return window for Best Buy, so I've contacted the manufacturer instead. They are instructing me to manually upgrade the firmware of the TV. This is something you cannot do from within the TV's interface, which seems crazy to me, but I will oblige because this has proven to be a really bad value and experience, even considering this is considered a budget TV.

    I regret buying. I have last years model and with the current software this new model is super laggy now running the new google tv software. Even worse, only one person can have a youtube or a youtube tv on the tv.... having multiple accounts was supposed to be one of the main features of google tv over android tv. But its not so on the Hisense software. And whe I say you can't switch accounts, thats not only on the google tv itself but also in each individual youtube and youtube tv app. Only work around until new and betrer software is released is to plug in an external googke tv. Picture is great for an cheap full array led tv when pushing good uncompressed hd content. With that said, many apps have highly compressed content and the blacks are crushed to a distracting level. Though in full disclosure this was the same in last years version. Google assistant built in. The good... the microphones are super sensitive even from a distance. The bads... not all google assistant features are availible, it overpowers all othe google listening devices in the house even when it cant properly preform the task that is being asked, there is no way to tweek the assistant settings in google home as google home thinks that it is a regular tv non assistant tv, and finally, the only way to dissable the assistant is to turn off a physical switch on the tv. When disabled, 4 extremely bright yellow LEDs shine, making it impossible to sleep.

    Don't buy it!! This TV did not last a month. I purchased it last month everything looked good back then, picture quality good, sound ok, but it could not be turned on anymore just 2 days ago. I tried different method suggested online but nothing worked and it stayed dead. Filled out the warranty claim online nobody replied. I called the customer service, and they just gave me a case number and told me to wait. Last TV I had was from Toshiba and when I got a issue, their customer service just told me to pick up a new TV from Best Buy for FREE!! What a difference!!

    Had for awhile and is mind numbingly slow. Times it's completely unresponsive. Has horrible discoloration at the slightest of off center viewing angles.

    Lagging after a while

    Great at the beginning, horrible after 2 years. TV is lagging often, crashing, non responsive. Hisense never updates their software in entry level TV set. I would recommend a known brand for your Android TV.

    it is just delivered yesterday. the setup was pretty much easy. After complete the setup we noticed that the picture is blurring quality or bad quality. i was trying to adject the picture setting but no luck. i tried to play various resolution videos such 4k, hd etc but all are having same bad quality. Called Hisense customer call but poor response from them. i though of try new Brand this time because of ULED with this price. but bad experince.

    Cracked Screen, Clearly dropped before we purchase

    TV screen was cracked on the end... The TV was loaded by a Best Buy employee,... We opened and installed it immediately after the purchase... Crystal cracks were noticed when we powered it up and saw the crystal looking picture... It was clear that it had been dropped by someone at Besy Buy before we purchased it... Returned it, 2 hours later, the same day... store employees wanted to blame us for its handling... it was loaded by a Best Buy employee... it came out of our SUV and went directly onto our large Cherry entertainment center... We handled it with TLC... It's disappointing to be sort of blamed for a cracked screen that clearly happened before we even bought it... I should have known that "the last one" in stock might be a bad purchase... Buyers be careful with Best Buy... They really wanted it to be a problem we created and looked to do their best to not honor our return
