HDMI port problem, beautiful displays

After one year of light using, HDMI port produced flickering colors, faded & normal colors on & off when wired with blu ray player or laptops.

The color and contrast is pretty good when you are directly in front of the TV. But one two steps off center and the picture changes dramatically and becomes pretty washed out. I have a few other TVs I bought recently and had to go check to see if I missed that on them. Nope, only this TV. If you were like me and debating between this and another larger brand TV (say one with SmartTizen) go with the other one. Don't be fooled by the Quantum ULED.

Great for the price but lacks in reliability

Lots of settings and options to choose from. About a month after i got it though, it started going slow. If i go into netflix for example, then change my mind and try to go back to the Home Screen it takes a long time for the tv to figure out what to do, gets a little laggy while scrolling as well. But overall good tv for the price.

However, at the $500 price point i would look at the mini LED version, the hisense u6, instead of the u6h. The biggest disappointment of this tv is a low peak brightness and very limited zones for backlight bleed, having 34 large local dimming zones. Its very distracting

Very good picture but software is frustrating

No complaints in that department. My only issue is that the software on this TV is below par. It has only been 2 weeks and the Google TV interface is already lagging a bit in day to day usage. The TV recceived an update that enabled HomeKit and Airplay from apple devices. This was great and was the only feature the TV was missing to make it an absolute steal for me. Unfortunately my experience with this has been really bad. I set it up and after I turned the TV off and turned it back on the TV would no longer show up in the home app or on the device list for airplay. I tried going to AirPlay settings to fix this issue but now pressing the AirPlay settings menu now just results in a black screen and nothing happens. Extremely dissapointed in this but you get what you pay for I guess. Will probably buy an apple TV 4K to fix these software frustrations down the line.

Disappointed

It was not good and it reminded me of watching old shows. The sales person said it had very good picture for the price and showed me a displayed tv which was great. I should have saved more money.

Accessory functions failed

Comparing it to my daughter's TCL 5-Series, the Hisense lacks in overall picture quality, and app availability. Also, the settings are very minimal, so it's hard to adjust and remove the soap opera effect when watching tv or movies. I wouldn't recommend this for your main tv

Very Good Picture, But Software Has Audio Glitch
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The TV has a very good picture, but the software has glitch, which I found out AFTER my purchase has been widely discussed online. The sound has an intermittent hiccup or skip every few minutes when using the HDMI eARC output to a sound bar. I was able to use an Optical cable connection to overcome this. There is no excuse for this and hopefully Hisense will issue a firmware update to solve it. Unless I could be assured that this glitch is fixed, I would not purchase this brand of TV again or recommend it to a friend. Again, the use of an Optical cable solved the problem, but it was a fix that shouldn't have been needed with an eARC equipped TV.
