Great TV !
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been using this TV for nearly 2 weeks now. It is very impressive considering the price. The Hisense 6510G has by far exceeded my expectations. Viewing angles and image quality are very good and the sound on this TV is so good I am not even going to hook up my theater system. The android TV OS is simple and straight forward to use. The only caveat with the OS is the lack of support for Apple TV+, which I can hope will be added since other TV brands with androidTV have received the Apple TV+ app. The weight of this TV is surprisingly light considering the size. I would certainly recommend mounting this TV since the legs/stand seem to be passable but might be a bit too wobbly for some people. I am very pleased with this purchase and recommend it to anyone on a budget for a large 4K TV.

Sub Par TV, but good value at sale price of $250.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was lucky and snagged this one at $250. A 65" 4K TV at $250 is an absolutely amazing price and if you see this one at that price, don't hesitate, grab it. I would avoid at it's normal MSRP of $500. I've only had the TV for around a month, but am having lots of issues with it. 1. The remote has random lag when using it. Sometimes, it responds instantly, but frequently, button presses won't register for a few seconds, making me think I missed the IR sensor, and pushing the button again. This can move the menu too far, or select something I wasn't intending to. 2. Apps frequently freeze up when using them, and then crash to the home screen. This isn't every time, but enough to mention as something to be aware of. 3. The TV has very little memory/storage space. I very regularly get an error message that the tv is out of storage and to "uninstall the applications." The first week I owned it I had to go through and delete several apps that I didn't think I'd use regularly. This is very disappointing that a smart TV would have such limiting specs. I now only have the streaming apps I use the most, and I am still getting that error message pretty regularly. I am not willing to delete the apps I have on there currently because we use them all. It does have a lot of baked in apps that you can't delete, but I did disable them and delete their updates to help clear up some space. That didn't seem to help though. 4. Android TV isn't my favorite smart platform. I've run into some issues that I can't find a way to fix. When the TV goes into screen saver mode (default after 5 minutes of inactivity), it wakes up to the home screen. If you are watching something streaming, and pause to go do something real quick, if you don't get back before the screen saver starts, you have to start from the home screen, re-open the app and navigate back to whatever you were watching. Some of the apps jump right back to what you were watching, but not all of them. I couldn't find a setting to disable this "feature" so I just made it so my screen saver doesn't come on unless it's been idle for 30 minutes. Overall, the TV is pretty frustrating, but this is my first 4k set, and by far the largest TV I've owned so there is still that big beautiful screen to offset the negatives for me. If you are upgrading from a 720p or 1080p tv, this is a good starting point. If you have more budget, skip this set, it isn't worth it.

Posted .Hello Sean, Thank you for your interest in the 65H6510G. We're sorry to hear that you are having an issue with the unit lagging and with the storage. The storage on this television can be expanded using a USB flash drive. Please perform a factory reset on the television by going to Settings>Storage & Reset>Factory Data Reset. The television will then shut off and after coming back on will prompt you to set up the TV like when it was just out of box. If this does not resolve the issue please give us a call at 1-888-935-8880 or email us at [email protected].
Thanks Again,
We look forward to hearing from you!

Best TV you can get for $249
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have to give this tv 5 stars, for $249 you have to be out of your mind not to buy this set. This is by far the best deal I've gotten on a TV by far. I didn't even have to buy a new tv stand, this set has two separate mounts for the legs. One is at 47.6" wide and the other can be placed more towards the center and measures at 26". This 65" fit my smaller tv stand perfectly fine. I also have a 50" 2019 Hisense 50H8F model which also offers Android TV, I have to say that model has better picture quality than this 65" model and that's due to the lack of local dimming. With local dimming the blacks are very deep and the set can get very bright. Unfortunately this 65" doesn't offer the local dimming, nor does it offer wide color gamut for HDR content found in the higher end Hisense sets like my 50". This isn't a total deal breaker, the tv displays pretty good 4K content and is great overall especially for the price. HDR with Dolby vision looks pretty good on this set as well, and overall I'm satisfied with the picture. Sound quality is actually very good on this set, but I still use my sound bar mainly. The user interface is much faster than my 50" and both run Android TV. That TV can be a lag fest at times, and as much as I'd like more features on this 65" set, I have to remind myself that I'd paid $100 less than I did for my 50" model laster year, and being 65" I can enjoy a bigger screen. Overall if you need a bigger set, and aren't too picky about picture quality, then you can't go wrong with this model. If you find it again for the $249 price tag, don't think twice, buy it. It's a steal at this price, and at it's normal price of $500, I'd probably look elsewhere.

A great purchase and value!!!!!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Hisense 65H6510g tv is an awesome purchase. I really love this tv, the picture, specially in 4k hdr in Dolby Vision is so stunning. This tv performs admirably in every situation. The sound from the speakers really sounds really loud but I really don't use them much, I hooked my tv to my home theater and I'm enjoying a really immersive picture and sound. I did purchased this because the price, at $399.99 on sale plus tax and best buy ordered it because they didn't have it on stock at my store. And they delivered to my house free of charge also, I can't complain. I really wished to buy it on black friday but anyway, I'm completely satisfied. Does this tv can compete with a QLED or OLED? Probably not but those tvs cost double or triple. I had a 50" Roku tv and this android is a great operating system, it's easy to use, has a great selection of apps and it's very customizable and you can use the remote to use google assistant to search content or turn off the tv. So, if you want a great, affordable tv, this is it, it can't get better than this. Ahh, a piece of advise, big you want the best picture possible and you want to calibrate it, please visit https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/hisense/h6510g/settings#:~:text=We%20recommend%20leaving%20Contrast%20at,Level%20to%20your%20viewing%20conditions There, you will have all the setting that you need to change to properly calibrate the tv and get the most of it. A must.

Great Android TV overall but useless remote
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent Android TV device at a great price, overall the TV itself has been working flawlessly, came a cross a few small issues like at one time the TV did not wanted to turn on, so I had to unplug and replug the TV .- The remote control is one thing I don't like is big and useless unlike the TCL Android TV remote that operates from anywhere and small and useful, this Hisense needs line of sight to work too bad they did not have a TCL 65" on sale otherwise I would've had that one .- I do own both Hisense 65 and TCL 55 Android TV's.

Best TV ever? No. Best bang for the buck? Yes.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Alright listen folks imma be honest with you. I’m a broke 20 year old college student who had been wanting a nice 4K TV. When I purchased this it was $230 after taxes $270. Is it the best picture quality? No. Best speakers? No. Fastest response times and Operating System? No. BUT for $270 a 65 inch 4K TV Smart TV it cannot be beat. It looks good, it’s not some OLED or QLED screen but for that price I’m more that happy to put up with a slow operating system and the occasional hard reset every 2 or 3 months. I’m very happy with it. If it goes on sale again you should pick it up. I would however recommend a cheap soundbar with a sub woofer.

Great picture, good sound, AMAZING price!!!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought a 70" Sharp on sale for $499. Gave it 3 stars because of sound, and light spots in screen. Found this TV for half price $250, bought this and returned the other. This is at least 2 stars better. Great picture and color, sound is really good and OMG the price!!! Oh and a normal remote thank god, the Sharp tried to get cute with a curved remote that constntly fell over...lol...highly recommend this TV...even at it's regular price it is a good TV. Oh and adjustable feet, so fits on my smaller TV stand!

Great for the price!!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had this over a month now. Got it before the Black Friday specials for $250. I’m amazed at the quality for the brand and for the price, it can’t be beaten. The Dolby vision sound is crispy and clear much louder than the 60 inch LG in our living room. The colors are clean and good for a 60Hz (this model is not 120Hz). The Android system is ok, not the best but not the worst. Connected the TV to watch YouTube and Netflix without any issues. So far it has been a great purchase! For my bedroom TV, it’s amazing and couldn’t find a better value than this. The 65 inch TCL brightness and sound isn’t as good as this Hisense! If this holds up, I will definitely look into a larger Hisense (maybe 75-82 inch) for living room.

Android not optimized for a tv yet.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Beautiful tv BUT! It uses the android operating system so basically it has a little computer inside. Like a computer it processes a little slower then your typical chipped television. The picture is big beautiful gorgeous all of those big words it is well like I said the processing power is very slow and glitchy to say the least. I actually on another input use a Roku USB stick instead of the android graphical interface on the tv. To top it off not all of the apps work with the TV. Many of them you click on it and they do nothing and these are apps that you would probably enjoy on your tablet but I guess I’ve not been optimized for television. So if you can get this at a really really good price it would not be worth it at the original retail price. In that case you can use your fire stick your chrome device or your Roku with it.

Great TV, Worth Every Penny!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My absolute favorite thing about this TV is that it automatically changes the TV input to whatever device you turn on. For example, if I turn on the Apple TV, the TV will automatically change it to the HDMI 1. If I turn on the Nintendo Switch, it’ll change the input to HDMI 2. Also the volume/speaker on this thing is ridiculously good. I don’t even go past volume 8. The graphics are nice and the REMOTE is incredible. You can basically connect the remote to whatever device is connected to your HDMI. So you don’t need to worry about finding the Apple remote, Xfinity flex remote, etc. Haven’t had any problems with the TV! I also bought a Dynex 47”-75” Full Motion TV wall Mount to mount the TV and it’s the perfect duo.

Don’t buy it please
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s definitely a you get what you pay for tv. It’s as fast as frozen molasses. Upon unboxing it the bottom screen has a awkward under glow that you can see when watching at night. The tv freezes on us and we have to unplug it and reset it. If you find literally any other tv company to buy from please do. You’d be amazed at how an extra $100 could make a huge difference in tv quality. Please DO NOT make the same mistake as us. Hope this will make you buy something else. So I don’t sound nagging let me say that the tv picture quality is pretty fair so if you want it for maybe gaming and not as a smart tv then I’d say this might be worth it. I took a photo of the awkward glow. Photos of course do it no justice but it’s very prominent when watching darker tv shows or movies. It’s a permanent defect on the screen.

Great value
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this for $250 delivered during the infamous black Friday deal of 2020. I'm glad I did. It's just very great value. My Samsung sound system didn't work with the digital in output otherwise it's very okay for the price. Coming from a 32 inch TV, I don't think I could have done better
