We wanted something lightweight and that would pick up pet hair. This turned out to be the perfect vacuum for us. Extremely easy to grab and vacuum anywhere quickly. Does a good job picking up the hair and the battery life was much better than expected. We use it multiple times before we have to recharge it. There is a battery indicator on it to tell you if it is getting low. I didn't need an extra battery. Everything works great. Easy to empty and clean. We can also use it on our stairs (no cord to worry about and very light weight).

This Vacuum really sucks , Dirt that is! It is noticeably light an easy to maneuver. Battery power is adequate and allows us to do our whole house 1 1/2 times (mostly on carpet setting). (2100 sq ft.) We are fortunate enough to have the One Power shop vac as well so we have a second battery and charger, so we will never run out of power. I do wish they made these batteries with a little more capacity. The storage container is a good size, full after one cleaning through our house, but that is completely expected since we have two dogs that shed a lot. Again, the suction is fantastic, it really seems to get all the hair. The same or perhaps better than the some more expensive brands. However, the suction Is almost too much, as we cannot vacuum over bathroom rugs or the small rug in our kitchen as the vacuum will not move. The suction is just too much. I have tried the other setting with no success. Perhaps a higher height setting, or lower suction setting will help with this problem. Settings offered are Brush off, Carpet mode and Multi Surface mode. The multi surface is a lower suction setting than 'Capet' and is set up for optimizing the run time. No height adjustment. It would have been nice to have the power and setting button on the handle, but not a big deal, just something to get used too. We love the fact that this stands on its own. We have had other ‘stick’ vacs that do not, and it is kind of a hassle to have to lean them against a wall or lay them on the floor. Another thing I really like is the ease of removing the roller. This makes removing the hair and fur that we all see wrapped around the roller. You simply rotate the lever on the side of the brush housing 1/4 turn and pull the brush out, it’s that easy. I simply love the cordless products of today, it really makes life easier. This product is no exception. So, I give this a 4 out of 5. It would get 5 stars if there was a way to vacuum the lighter area rugs. ~Reviewers in this invitation-only program are provided products for the purpose of writing honest, unbiased reviews

    Compact Powerful Lightweight cordless vac

This Vacuum is absolutely powerful and doesn’t feel like a cordless and yes it does performs like a corded vacuum and is compact and lightweight (around 8.2lbs). We put this vacuum to test on our home of multi surface floor with around over 1700 sqft porcelain tile, 1500 sqft of engineered hardwood flooring, 500 sqft of carpet, 250 sqft of shag carpet and compared this with our best corded dyson animal pet vacuum that we were using to clean our golden shedding everyday. In the box: Evolve PET Vacuum, Two 4.0Ah battery, 45W Charger, Manual. Setup: Out the box, this vacuum is very easy to install. No screws, just push to connect fittings. You need to install the wand into the body until it clicks. My model (Bh53420PCE) comes with two 4.0 Ah battery and charger. This model includes a fast charger (3x speed; 45W) compared to the 40W charger on other ONEPWR models(picture attached charging both batteries with new charger and old 40W charger for comparison). It does come charged and had around 30% juice but will suggest to charge fully before using. Took around 2 hours to fully charge due to some juice already left when shipped (otherwise it will take little over 3.5 hours for full charge). Since this model included 2 batteries, it works great to clean my entire 3700 sqft space without interruption. Also, I do like the convenience of ONEPWR systems, since I own a high performance blower that uses the same battery and can be interchanged when we need the system for heavy use. This vacuum compared to my other one is very light weight and comes really handy in the kitchen for quick cleanups every morning after kids’ breakfast. Vacuum has a very ergonomic comfort grip handle and has 3 buttons (power, mode, display mode) for quick selection. By default, when you start the vacuum, it will be in multi-surface mode. This mode is like a eco mode and will save battery and uses less power/suction and good for quick cleanups. For hardwood and tile flooring you can select the mode brush off as this has high suction and less louder compared to carpet mode. Carpet mode uses the brush and has very high suction, power and louder compared to other 2 modes. We tested this vacuum in all 3 modes and found for our setup, mode with brush off works the best for all cleanups. Emptying the dirt bin is very easy and is very similar to our dyson model. Just push down the latch on the dirt bin to release and pull it backwards from the body, hold the bin and press the dirt release button to empty. Very easy to empty and attach. We put this machine to test with different items like coffee grains, sugar spill, cheerios, honey flakes, small paper to plastics, pet hair and it outperformed well compared to the corded vacuum. It can maneuver so well and can get under the furniture and tight spots easily. Storage is also easy and doesn’t take lot of space and can stored under the bed flat if space is a concern. Battery runtime is good and lasted 28 minutes on full charge on brush off mode and it depends on the mode you select. Since the carpet area is less not sure if there may be any difference on the battery runtime. Also, when running on carpet mode it’s louder and little hard to move around shag carpets as the suction is so powerful and no options to adjust it. Overall, highly recommend for cordless functionality, lightweight, powerful suction vacuum that can pick pet hair and does the job good like traditional corded vacuum. Works great for us with our golden retriever that sheds a lot and this makes our cleaning easy. Also, planning to purchase the dust chaser attachment for quick cleanup which will replace our handheld vacuum. Love the convenience of ONEPWR system if you have other products and can use the same battery and add just the tool to your product list.

Being a father to a pre-teen is hard enough, especially when he keeps complaining about doing vacuum chores because the vacuum is heavy. So, we jumped at the opportunity to use the Hoover Onepwr Evolve Pet Cordless. We were excited at the cordless option so that we wouldn’t get tangled around the power cord. After a few weeks, we were really impressed at this vacuum. Pros: -Cordless: best feature, we can be very mobile in where we vacuum around the house. My son doesn’t complain about going over the Ford, or getting tangled. Vacuuming the stairs is easy. -Lightweight. This vacuum weighs just over 8 lbs and is easy for both my son and I to carry it around. -Battery Life. The battery pack can be removed to be charged. Fully charged lasted me about 2 weeks on a daily use, averaging 8 minutes a day. Charging takes about an hour to get from 1 to 4 power level. -Cleaning: this really sucks...the dirt from both hard surfaces and carpet. Next to the power button is t a mode selection button for Multi surface, Carpet, and No Brushes. I felt that this sucks off the Hard Floor better than Carpet. After wards, the canister is easily detachable and can clean the filter with soap and water. Cons: -Vacuum over Carpet power. On carpet, the vacuum struggles a little. There is more power and pull when in carpet mode, but we have to go over crumbs several times to make sure it’s all gone. No complaints over Hard surfaces. -Canister. It’s smaller compared to other vacuums, a sacrifice in order to keep it lightweight and cordless. Wish it could a little larger in volume size. Overall, great vacuum. Makes the vacuuming experience more enjoyable.

Operational User Test of Hoover The ONEPWR™ Evolve Pet™ Cordless Vacuum BH53420 Summary report: Product meets or exceeds all described functions. This unit was easy to push and carry between rooms as well as use as a cleaner. The 4 AMP battery and charger are quality units. Actually the whole unit is a quality product. Detailed results: This unit was able to clean tile and carpet on both Auto and Manual settings (manual was better for me). Suction was excellent with strong sweeper bar action. The Hoover OnePWR Evolve Pet Cordless upright vacuum is an easy to use, easy to clean, battery powered vacuum designed for smaller spaces. It uses the OnePWR battery system that Hoover has and that means you can use the same battery for a variety of their products. This vacuum is light weight and has powerful suction. It seems to keep pulling dirt out of my carpets no matter how many times I go over the same area. My carpets are about 20 years old, still in good shape, but there is a lot of dirt trapped in them that you cannot see. I am extremely impressed with how well this little vacuum works. It does not have any attachments and it has three modes that you can toggle between, they are, carpet, multi-floor, and brush off. It basically just spins the brush roller fast with the carpet mode, slower with the multi-floor and off with the brush off mode (it might adjust the suction as well). I do wish the vacuum had some LED lights on it so you could see in those darker areas of the house. The vacuum head has a low profile and it fits neatly under some of my lower chairs that I have in the living room. The dust bin canister holds a lot of debris and I was easily able to do my entire house without having to empty it, also the battery held up great. My other complaint is the location of the power and mode buttons. I wish they would have placed them on the handle as they are on my Hoover Floormate. If you are looking for a lightweight, powerful and easy to use small vacuum, try this one out!

The power and capacity of a typical upright vacuum, but lightweight and cordless. Works great in getting the extra dogs worth of hair that seems to fall off of my daughter's German Shepherd practically every day without having to drag out the full size vacuum. It’s quick and easy to use. On carpet mode, which has higher power and brush rotation, gives about 20 minutes worth of usage with the included 4.0 Ah Max battery. There is a multi-surface setting that works good for hard floors with slow brush rotation and lower power as well as a mode that stops the brush but keeps the higher suction power. Like a typical upright vacuum you don’t have to worry about standing it up and letting go like many stick vacuums that are top heavy. However, this is a straight up floor vac as there is no detaching anything to use for a different surface. It is light enough to handle on carpeted stairs, but nothing smaller. The ONEPWR Dust Chaser seems meant for that. WIth the ONEPWR system you can use the same battery on any ONEPWR product, however you do have to use the external charger to recharge it.

Battery technology has come a long way. The ONEPWR 4.0 Amp-Hour battery which can be used in other Hoover products truly amazed me. I was able to vacuum the master bedroom, two smaller rooms and hallway. Lastly, I went to vacuum the stairs and the battery finally was exhausted. It completely filled the dirt cup, which is about 2 cups by volume. Great job for a machine that weighs in under ten (10) pounds including the battery. Its so lightweight, and the head fit nicely on the stairway steps. Pet hair has met its match. Easy to grab and clean when you're in the mood. Just keep the battery on charge. You find yourself cleaning more often since there is no cord to lug around and contend with. Easy large on/off button. Select carpet, bare floor or no power to the brush (MODE select BUTTON). The head swivels and lays flat on the floor making getting under chairs and tables a breeze. Removing the beater bar is simple. Tun the lever on the side and it pulls out for easy cleaning. Emptying the dirt cup was easy. The debris dumps out 1-2-3.Cleaning the charcoal filter (captures odors too) is accomplished by rinsing under running water. Storage is great too. the head folds open so it can hand out of the way. The battery is removed from the upright for charging. Maneuvering around table legs, beds etc., is natural thanks to the swivel head, large rear rubber wheels and micro fiber brush strip on the bottom of the head.

We recently moved into a new home with a second story - and my wife wanted a cordless vacuum to have upstairs that didn't weigh as heavy as our bigger, corded vacuum. I also have a Hoover ONEPWR shop vac that uses the same battery system. It seemed like a no-brainer to pick this one up because the batteries are interchangeable and while my shop vac only has a 2.0 battery, this one comes with a larger 4.0 battery. I wasn't honestly expecting a lot, because I've had mixed experiences with battery powered vacuums. But after several weeks of using this vacuum, I have to say - I love this vacuum! First off, the weight of this is very light considering it's overall size. My wife and I had no issues moving it up and down the stairs. The vacuum itself has 3 different modes: Multi-Surface, Carpet, and Brush-Off. Multi-Surface uses the beater bar brush lightly and can go from hard surfaces and carpet without missing a beat. Carpet kicks the beater brush into turbo mode for digging into deeper carpets. Brush-Off is exactly what it sounds like, the brush is turned off and is good for hard surface floors. The battery lasts for a good long while - I usually can have it off the charger and use it periodically throughout the week and then recharge it over the weekend. I've also swapped out the 4.0 battery with my shop vac for heavier duty projects. The charger that comes with it is very slim and discreet, compared to the more bulky version that came with my shop vac previously. The tub is easy to empty as well - which is a bonus. Especially when cleaning up after a big dog and 2 cats. If you have a Hoover ONEPWR vacuum already, then you really need to check this out. It's a fantastic vacuum and I couldn't be happier with it.

I’ve never understood why companies didn’t use standard interchangeable batteries in thier stick vacs. I would been all over a system that allows me to use the same batteries on my stick vac and say a cordless drill. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw that Hoover had a OnePwr system that does just that! This was my first foray into the OnePwr ecosystem but certainly won’t be my last! Power is excellent, the ability to switch between carpet and bare floor is easy and the assembly couldn’t have been easier. I love how easy it is to pop the battery on/off and it lasts 4-5 vacuums in my house before I had to recharge it! My only suggestion would be to put the power button on the handle so that I don’t have to bend over to turn it on/off. Then again, I’m 6’3” and most might not find the positioning all that inconvenient. All in all an impressive machine!

I had really high hopes for the OnePwr Evolve Pet cordless vacuum, but it let me down. So let me start of with the positive thing about this vacuum cleaner. It is an extremely light weight vacuum cleaner. My wife was able to take the vacuum cleaner upstairs with any issues. She is able to use the vacuum cleaner with such ease. The battery, portability, and cordless feature is such a great feature, the battery charges up pretty quick to a full charge and on a full charge we were able to vacuum our full house on the carpet mode and to be able to take it anywhere and not have plug the cord in is very nice. The vacuum also have 3 modes of cleaning, Carpet (faster brush roll, more suction), Multi-surface ( slower brush roll, same suction as carpet) and No Brush ( Suction Only). Also, the vacuum cleaner has pretty good suctions, which was easily able to pick up our dog hair from the carpets without a problem. Now the negatives about the vacuum cleaner, now im not sure if all of the vacuum cleaners were like this or just mine, but some issues that i encountered in my unit and which really turned me off where first of all is the build quality. The vacuum cleaner honestly just feels like it will break apart in your hands. The handle does not feel like its securely in place, it sort of moves back and forth a little, which i am not a big fan off. I would have preferred the handle to screwed in placed rather than the push in pin system it currently has to secure the handle. My biggest concern with the unit was that the brush roll stopped working in the middle a couple of times, while on carpet mode cleaning some area rugs and it would not start up again unless you restarted the unit. For a unit that is retailing for around $160 i expected more. Overall, it can a be a good vacuum cleaner, but its not there yet. So lets go over some of the pros and cons of this vacuum cleaner. Pros- -Light Weight -Quick Charge battery -Long Last battery -Good Suction -Easy clean bin -3 Cleaning Modes Cons- -Brush roll not working or turning off in the middle of cleaning (Biggest issue for me) -Build Quality (feels cheap)

      Hello Hmirza,

Thank you for your feedback on the Hoover ONEPWR Evolve Pet Cordless Vacuum. We apologize that you have been experiencing some belt issues on this unit. It is possible that the belt is not situated fully on the driver and thus leading to intermittent shut offs. We recommend checking the belt to ensure it is situated properly and then turning the brushroll by hand a few times to make sure that it is tracking. If this does not correct the issue, please contact us directly at [email protected] with reference to this review and model number. Thank you!

I would give this 5 stars but it won't pickup large items. Picks up my dogs fur really well.... No sticky smelly after dog odor after vacuuming too due to filter technology. Battery life is good. On all surface mode (medium power) I can use it for 2 days and I was able to vacuum 4 rooms 2 days in a row. Battery recharge bus about 2 hours after full depletion. Carpet mode (high power) will last about 1.5 days same rooms as above. Vacuum is nimble is lightweight. Emptying canister and cleaning filter is super easy. It works with other Onepwr device. Awesome. Works with my blower! So can rotate batteries around... It it wasn't for the large items issue I would give it 5 stars.

I am highly disappointed in my purchase. The vacuum does have great features but did not last very long. I purchased this vacuum on May 19, 2022. Today is December 6, 2022, and it has not even been 6 months and the hose that connects the body to the base wore out and separated with normal use. See picture! I had another vacuum by another manufacturer that did the same thing. I guess cheap materials or bad designs are becoming prevalent across the industry.

Light way, Convenient with good Suction Power

I will start off by saying this vacuum is very light, convenient and with good suction power. In the box you will get the vacuum, handle, battery, charger and some manuals. Before you start using it you need to charge the battery and that took over 3 hours to fully charge. Once it is ready to use it is very simple, install the battery, press the power button and go. It does make a little noise, I expected more silence since it is battery power but it is not that bad. The suction is pretty good for its size, it's able to pull dirt, dust and pets' hair easily. Maneuvering it took a minute at first but then becomes natural, you use the handle to make it turn it kinds of feels like the vac is actually turning for you. I am not sure if the brush roller is mechanical or if it actually spins with the suction, but it stopped when I tried to vacuum the bathroom rug. It does work well on floors the same as carpets and I was able to pick up a lot of dog hair which is one the thing you want to pick up for this vac if you own any pets that sheds. There is a mode selector where you can switch from multi surface, carpet or turn the brush off. I was able to use the carpet mode in one of my rooms and you definitely can feel the difference in the suction power. However keep in mind the more power you use the quicker the battery drains. I have an 1800SQF home and I was able to vac the entire house with 1 charge. If you have a bigger home you will definitely need 2 batteries. Battery is my only complaint, it takes over 3 hours to fully charge to get just about 30 min. Overall this vac works like a charm is easy to use, it has good suction power and is very light weight.

I wanted to start by saying I gave this vacuum four stars because it does not have a hose and/or the attachments. So you can only use this vacuum with the main head and won’t be able to use for things like cars etc. Yet, because it uses a power pack from Hoover you can get any of there cordless vacs/products and use the same battery. This vacuum is awesome with its suction and motor head. The mode settings let you change from multi surface (hard floors) to carpet to turning off the motor head and only having suction. Combining these modes with the suction this vacuum has makes it a beast for picking things up. Even after just vacuum prior this vac still picked dust and stuff up from my carpet and tiled floors. I am really impressed. The battery also lasts forever. I did the entire first floor of our big house and it still had the juice for upstairs. Pretty awesome. Battery charging also is really quick as it is advertised. When you plug in the battery it will show you the status of how filled the battery is and it always seems like it takes under an hour to charge to max. It should be noted that I did not fully drain the battery prior to doing this so it might be just my conditions but I would say “yes” this battery charges quick. I love this thing because I can whip it out real quick and vacuum the kitchen and front and back doors of hour house. Heavily traffic areas in our house will now be forever clean because of how fast and quick you can use this vac. Even other family members of the house who never vacuum I catch taking this vacuum out. Crazy how when something is made easy and fun more of your family members are willing to pick up a vacuum. Very cool Hoover!

The Hoover ONEPWR Evolve Cordless Upright Vacuum is exactly as it states. Its a light-weight cordless, upright-stick vacuum, and the clean that it provides is incredible for a battery-powered vacuum. Setting-up out the box is very simple but be prepared to charge the battery before the first use. Consider investing in a second battery if you have an extra-large home but the cool thing is Hoover ONEPWR batteries work with every ONEPWR system. The cleaning from this vacuum easily amazed me the first time using it. I vacuumed about two days before owning the Hoover ONEPWR with a corded vacuum I own and thought the carpet was cleaned but the first time using the Hoover ONEPWR I couldn't believe the dust and dirt it picked up. The carpet I vacuumed is over 30 years old and the Hoover ONEPWR literally vacuumed up 12 years of dirt, hair, and dust. I was amazed at how much it picked up that the corded vacuum didn't. The Power Vortex Suction is A1 on the Hoover ONEPWR and definitely out beats my corded vacuum. I have no problem when switching floors with the multi-surface mode and its very gentle on hardwood floors. There are two features on this device that make me love it. 1. You can remove the brush easy to clean it 2. IT HAS A METAL FILTER! Overall I recommend the Hoover ONEPWR vacuum to pet-owners because this will pick up the most stubborn of hair. I also recommend this for the elderly or someone who needs a lightweight easy to use vacuum. This vacuum is also perfect for college students and apartment living. The Hoover ONEPWR Evolve vacuum will not disappoint.

This vacuum sucks... literally! I have several more expensive vacuums in the house, one that namely rhymes with Tyson... and this Hoover performs pretty much on par with them at a third of the price! I don’t have any pets, however my sister whom visits frequently has dogs and man do they shed. This vacuum makes it very convenient to vacuum up everything from pet hair to cereal size crumbs... Was very impressed as well with how easy it is to take the brush head off to clean with a simple twist (i can’t stand having hair stuck in my vacuum brush head so this is a very much appreciated feature). Only negative thing i have noticed so far is that the battery life is not that great, especially if you use the highest power mode. However, the great thing is that you can buy additional batteries to swap out if required (not the case with my other vacuum, so this isn’t really a negative). Through my usage, i’ve noticed that after ~15 minutes of vacuuming on the highest mode, battery goes down quickly to about 25%. This isn’t too bad as i mainly use this in my basement only (which is approximately 800sq ft). If you have a larger area that you need to clean, i would definitely recommend getting a spare battery! Overall, i would definitely recommend this Hoover vacuum if anyone is looking for a convenient and light vacuum for quick and easy cleaning!

I like Hoover products as they all work are powered by the same battery (ONEPWR). I found it very portable and convenient. Pros: Lightweight, the same battery used for most of Hoover products, suction is powerful that made my carpet to fluff up again, the runtime is about 30 minutes, cleaning dirt is easy, brush roll cleaning is just one click, as well as multi-surface cleaning for the carpet to the hard floor. Cons: LED headlights I just hoped it is equipped with LED headlights to illuminate way especially at night or doing vacuuming under furniture but I feel Hoover did not add this feature only to have longer runtime on a single charge. Other than that it is a great vacuum that offers strong suction and lightweight.

So, out of the box the battery was at one light. I charged it to full and that took about 3 hours max. I had vacuumed the day before so this was a real test. This is picture of the canister is from my carpet in my living room and the two little area rugs on my main floor. My 4 cats (long hair) are indoor so they shed constantly during the summer and I have constant balls of hair everywhere. But again, I had vacuumed less than 24 hours earlier. I am impressed. I then vacuumed the stairs and main bedroom and the canister needed to be empty- it is amazing this little thing really cleaned my carpets!!! I headed toward the third floor and the battery was dead. It lasted about 30 minutes. I let it recharge overnight and finished the third floor. I let it sit half charged for two days and it still showed half a charge meaning it did not lose any charge just sitting there. The noise level is low- cats did not freak out. It has a nice small footprint and can easily be hidden in a corner. I love the cordless appliances, but they really need to be universal. I now have a new battery and charger to keep track of.
