Don't buy it unless you are okay with plastic
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Save your money and buy an upgraded dishwasher. This one was definitely inexpensive, but it looked and operated that way too. The only good thing is the way the dishes and glasses are loaded, they drain better. It only has one cycle, with is Heavy.

Hotpoint dishwasher
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not as sturdy as I expected. Door is flimsy as are the racks. Fits well in the cabinet area. The controls are very basic with few options.

2x defective dishwasher
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this for a rental property, and at installation discovered that there was something defecting with the handle / closing mechanism, which would cause the dishwasher to stop running. Purchased an identical replacement and had the same defect.

It's very light and super quiet. I'm a night owl so I run it in the middle of the night. Doesn't disturb anyone in my home. Easy to use and works very well.

Great economic option
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The dishwasher is definitely on the economic side, but it gets the job done. It has no modes just one button. For the price, it was worth the buy.

Cheap machine
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Dishwasher is not very loud even thought it is 60dBA. It seems to wash the dishes well. But it is a cheap model and I returned it because I don't like this model. I had no chance to view it in the store. Had I been able to do that, I would not have bought it. Is it 50 characters yet? I guess not so here it goes????????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!,

In the 2 years I wasn’t impress with it sometimes it didn’t get all the dishes clean. I would’ve bought the extended warranty, but it was too high. I guess that’s what I get for buying cheap dishwasher.

Total Junk of a Dishwasher
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just had it installed through Best Buy. The first time my wife wanted to use it it wouldnt start bc the door does not latch. Weird to explain. But you have to hold the door down with your hand for it to work and if you let it stops. Cheap product. The fact the door doesnt latch is unreal.

Posted .Hi there,
We're so sorry to hear that your dishwasher door will not latch and certainly understand how frustrating that is. To minimize the possibility of electric shock, unplug the appliance from the power supply before attempting any maintenance or cleaning, or turn the house circuit breakers/fuses to the off position.
If the dishwasher door will not latch on a new installation:
Close the door and check both sides and the top of the door.
If the door is hitting the cabinets or screws under the counter, contact your installer to correct or consult your Installation Instructions.
On new dishwashers it may be necessary to push-in on the top center of the control panel while latching the door because the gasket is still stiff.
New gaskets may not yet have had an opportunity to seat properly.
Up to ten dishwasher cycles may be required for wash heat to help mold and seat the gasket. The gasket will become more pliable after a few uses.
If the dishwasher door will not latch on a new or existing installation:
Check your rack loading. Be sure all items are within the racks and do not stick out beyond the front or back of the dishwasher racks.
Also, check to be sure items do not fall through the lower rack. Items sticking through the lower rack may prevent the lower rack from rolling completely into the dishwasher and may also prevent rotation of the spray arm below the rack.
Make sure nothing, such as silverware, or other small items, obstructs the closing of the door. We hope these tips help! Mike@GEA
