I’ve always liked to be on the move. I love taking walks around our neighborhood, riding my bike to a local park, and I’ve even done my fair share of skateboarding. With that in mind, I think it’s only natural that I felt drawn to the hoverboard craze that blew up a few years ago (no pun intended). When I first saw people riding them on TV I thought, “I could do that.” It was only recently that I got to try out that theory when visiting some friends on a family vacation. My friend Ava had a hoverboard and she was nice enough to let me try it. It was a blast and I decided to find my own. After some research, I decided on the Horizon App-enabled Bluetooth Hoverboard by Hover-1. The Hover Board is an amazing product. It is meant for fun almost anywhere. I’ve personally ridden mine inside our house, outside in Florida, on tile, and on regular old concrete. I think the 8” wheels really make a big difference when it comes to how smooth of a ride you get with the hoverboard. I’ve not had any issues with the wheels getting stuck somewhere or caught up on a foreign object. That said, you should always be aware of your surroundings. One of the biggest things I’ve learned since I’ve had the hoverboard is patience. For example, it takes time and effort to balance and learn how to move properly to get the most of out of your hoverboard experience. That takes patience. The hoverboard is heavy to pick up and move from place to place. It weighs 24.5 pounds. The packaging for it was great. It was completely stable so that nothing was broken inside. I even transported it on a 900-mile road trip inside its original box. When you take the hoverboard out of its box, it literally shines. My first experience with the Horizon hoverboard was tricky but I soon got a hold of it. The first time I got onto the hoverboard I drove right into something. Even though I had a small set back, I got right back on it and tried again. My favorite thing about the hoverboard is the getting on part. It takes absolute skill to balance and shift your weight to stay on top. The app is a nice addition to the hoverboard. It’s available for download for free and it allows you to customize your experience with the Horizon by letting you do things like changing the color of light on the back of the hoverboard. You can also monitor your speed and change modes between Beginner, Intermediate, or Expert. You even have the option to change your vehicle’s name. The Horizon hoverboard drives smoothly and looks great. It’s moderately priced in comparison with other hoverboards, but I think it makes sense to spend a little more and get a good, quality product this hoverboard. I can recommend this for any level of users. Beginners will be able to learn easily with it and more advanced riders can start strong and do tricks with it right out of the box. I’m very happy with my Horizon hoverboard and if I had the choice, I would get it all over again.

Bigger than the cheap ones with bigger wheels also. Charge lasts a long time and is fast. Son loves it

Bought this for my daughter to ride around the park and around the neighborhood. This device keeps a long charge which is awesome since it's can go roughly 8 miles while supporting her weight (74lbs). She crashed it a few times trying to learn her balance on it, but this hoverboard is built sturdy tough so no real damage taken.

We have a few of these hoverboards… The first one we got (HY-H1) looks a little rough now — my boys run it into walls and things at full speed all the time. That said, it still runs great and they still ride it every day. Pretty amazing product. This one is pretty similar with different lights and bigger wheels. It’s fast, the lights on this one are better, it has a great Bluetooth speaker and it’s an equally good hoverboard to learn on.

Ok, so this is my families third product from Hover-1 and this one doesn't disappoint. My son absolutely loves the built in bluetooth speaker and the increased speed over the model his brother rides. I did ride this model extensively and feel it is a little less responsive or refined than the previous Hover-1 but I really don't think most people would notice unless you road both models. Speed, design, lighting (yes you can change colors with the app on the board) this unit has it all. I strongly recommend.

This Hoverboard has larger wheels and goes a little slower than some other Hoverboards but is still a fun ride. It has headlights that change colors but is a sleek black. It states it's for a 15+ from an age perspective but our much younger children enjoy using it. We haven't used the app yet but think that would be a cool addition for the kids but not necessary to be able to ride.

We wanted a safe and reliable hover board for our 9 year old. She absolutely loves this, especially how easy it is to ride and the changing colors feature. It’s quiet and so far 100% reliable. It has larger wheels making it more stable and a mobile app that lets you adjust how sensitive the board is. We have it set to easy mode and it really helps make it easy for smaller kids to ride.

Got this one because it held more weight. (225 vs 180). The stickers were already ripped off the box. Didn’t read the labels until after I bought it saying no returns once labels are ripped. Strange they would willingly sell like this without warning me. Thankfully it works fine. My daughter has been having a lot of fun with it so I can’t complain.

Great product! Sleek, compact, and very fun to ride. It goes surprisingly fast and also easy to use. I've used other hoover boards before, and this seemed to be much easier to use - probably because of the size. The lights are an added bonus!

Bought this for my son for Christmas. He loves it. It has Bluetooth to connect to his phone so he can play music through the speaker thats built inside. It lights up and lets him know how much life is left on the battery. Just down load the app and your set!

This has been a solid product so far even with some rough handling by the kids the tires are great quality the Bluetooth is awesome battery lasts pretty long very happy with our purchase as we bought 2 of these

We had a basic hoverboard by the same company -Hover 1- and really liked it, but I gave it to my sister and her kids. This one isn't that much more expensive but has the built in bluetooth speaker and it sounds pretty good. I didn't know how much I'd use the speaker, but I find myself connecting to it every time now. It handles really well and I really like the headlights on it. I took it out when the sun was setting and it was nice to have a little extra light.

My eight year got this for Christmas. It has a smooth ride and my husband loves getting on it as well. Love the speaker and that you can change the color of the lights .

Bought this for my son for Christmas and it does everything it needs to do. I like the fact that it has a built in Bluetooth speaker, the lights are wild as well.

Easy product to use. Expensive. It needed to be calibrated. Gav it toa 13 year old daughter. She is happy with it chasing the cats around the house

This was a Christmas gift and my son loves it! He raves about the larger wheels and how it rides smoothly over uneven pavement

Battery life is good and the scooter works great. Also, wheel size is a good balance of using on concrete and yard.

I had a different hoverboard which Was what I thought so cool Ul2272 self balancing HB It was a good board. For a beginner. So I then bought this one and WOW Such a difference. Especially the 8” wheels being higher and less likely to hit small things in road or where you ride it. The sound and the lighting one this Hoverboard H1-2 is crazy bright and overall an excellent board

Had it for a couple weeks now and after the kids watched a YouTube instructional video they are really enjoying it. Not to mention that everyone that comes over can’t wait to try it. The Bluetooth compatible built in speaker is also a plus. Kids range from 9-13 and this gets them away from playing fortnite all day. Only problem is that now all 3 kids want one of their own.

My 6 year old daughter and 9 year old son think this is the best thing ever. They both caught on with no problems and have been riding it like professionals ever since. Great board for all ages. Of course the blue tooth added a whole other level---When the music came on, they were head over heels sold.
