    I bought this computer just under 2 mos ago because of positive reviews. Unfortunately mine must have been a lemon. Would not allow me to open some sites and other issues. I returned within 2 mo period.

    Went in to buy the laptop and sales associate wanted to upsell me saying I could only run ms store apps on this laptop. When all you have to do is take it out of s mode and you can install anything you want. Since the deal was so good I just ordered online to avoid dealing with the computer associates. Just make sure to do your own research. Do not trust what the sales associates say. They are either very incompetent or very dishonest.

    S mode in window 11 is a big issue

    I bought this laptop yesterday, Sunday, 6/2/24. I iust have to return it about 4 hours later. It was on sale yesterday, and i got $200 discount. The issue was that when I tried to switch out of the S mode of window 11, i can’t. I kept getting the same message: “ something is not ready, try again “ but when i click on try again tab, it didn’t go through and had the same message anyway. I guessed Microsoft blocked this feature. I tried to do different ways, but it didn’t let me switch out of the S mode. Microsoft just made it harder for users. The only browser on the laptop is Microsoft Edge. When I tried to download Google Chrome, it said that I have to switch out of the S mode, but when I click on the switch out tab, it didn’t go through. I went back to Microsoft Edge browser, tried to download the Zoom app, it said that the Zoom app was not from Microsoft. I got stuck. I have used HP laptop for many years, last time I had a window 10, I was able to disable the S mode. But this time I really gave up with the Microsoft Window 11. I was so disappointed.

    HP laptop computer for $349.99 is total garbage as trash as dusty and dirty sound is coming as sounding out of the laptop. You got what you pay for and that is the reason that it is on sale for that price. Defective product. Trash.

    I suppose if you want bottom of the barrel this is fine. However that being said this thing is garbage. The whole thing feels like a middle school classroom laptop. Poor quality in materials, the "HD" display gave me a headache and the text was not defined in the slightest, I could see the pixels. Dont even get me started on the S mode nonsense. Absolute trash. I have owned it less than six hours and it took me one whole hour to download Chrome browser. Immediately after I downloaded Chrome I started getting a headache from the display and lighting. The mousepad on it is kind of tacky and makes navigation difficult. Ill be returning it first thing in the morning and I quite honestly want something without windows at this point. Spend the extra money and get something else. I am not a gamer, I am using this for work so Im not looking for incredible displays but this was beyond terrible. It is built so flimsy that Im worried if my cat steps on it that it might crack.

    Sales Person-Excellent assistance, helped me find exactly what I was looking for in a new Laptop and the new HP would be sent to the store. I was perfectly satisfied at this point. Geek Squad-found every reason in the book why they couldn't help me with my computer, refused at first to get the manager so when he did I cancelled the order. Private Repair Service-my computer up and running in 30 minutes. I have always been satisfied with Best Buy sales service and products, with the Geek Squad I always have my fingers crossed that I will get a good person for assistance. Excellent Sales Personnel need to have a equally strong Repair Service backing them up.

    Unclear why this product has high rating but this is a very low quality laptop, a real junk if you ask me. Issues: 1. Screen does not light up when typing 2. Colors are funny. For example: in my personal Mac or work desktop a cell was highlighted in purple, while in this laptop the cell was grayish. Its like the laptop is half color blind 3. Takes forever and up to 7 attempts to connect to vmware. My mac connects on the first try, while this junk struggles on and on 4. Slow - this is a brand new laptop, bought it two weeks ago, very slow Conclusion: returning. I should pay more and buy a decent laptop.

    I ordered this laptop and it was damaged in shipping. I called best buy customer support and told them I wanted a replacement laptop shipped. They said they could do this. I shipped the damaged laptop back and did not receive the replacement. I called support and they said I would NOT receive a replacement and that I had to take a refund. I checked the price of the laptop and now it is $200 higher. This is why best buy would only give me refund on not a replacement. I'm very disappointed best buy lied about the replacement. Now I can't buy the same laptop unless I pay $200 more than I originally paid.

    Tv fine, hooking up bracket horrible

    TV is fine but the tech from Best Buy who hooked it up disconnected our soundbar when putting the bracket in to hang tv, left, never hooked soundbar up and it is impossible to get Best Buy to come hook it back up. I made an appt to have them come do it, i even said i would pay the 99 fee, took off work, they never showed. Also, Best Buy cancelled our credit card because it was paid off and we never used it for more than 6 months. I can’t believe how much this store and their customer service has changed. Will not renew my card.

    Horrible network connectivity issues. Wifi kept dropping due to DHCP server not responding and not reaching default gateway. I tried all sort of fixes and so did HP. I finally just returned it to the store. Garbage!

    So far I must say this purchase has been a complete disappointment. Constantly disconnects from wifi and then struggles to reconnect. I considered returning it day one but decided to troubleshoot it and use HP tech support. Now I am past the return date and HP wants me to reinstall the OS. They'll do it for me but will charge me. I've tried to see about getting some kind of exception with Best Buy and return it but they have been of no help as well. Done with HP and Best Buy.

    Not a fan of the new Microsoft software. The first task I had to do in this computer involved uploading some documents and it said it wouldn’t support have. It’s was difficult to navigate and the display was very pixely. Needles to say I returned it and purchased the MacBook Air instead.

    If i could give zero i would. I returned the first one because the mouse pad stuck. I bought end of August for school, it is now beginning of October, the mouse pad is stuck again thank goodness for touch screen. Also the blue tooth does not work for head phones. So please don’t buy this model it’s a waste of money!!!

    After using this laptop for a week and then starting it up a month later, nothing works…can’t open apps, everything is slow to appear on the screen; not a very good experience for a new laptop. Not sure if it is hardware or software issue but had to have it sent to HP warranty service; not sure I would not recommend this model or HP

    WiFi kepted crapping out on me. Also screen quality sucks. Don’t buy this. Get an Asus Zenbook for a little more money. Way better laptop and has OLED screen.

    My package was stolen and Best Buy did absolutely nothing to figure out whether the delivery driver did it. I was told I would get a replacement and I never got one. Absolutely ridiculous store and the best place to waste your money
