First off this is not a gaming monitor although casual gameplay is acceptable but more serious gamers look elsewhere. Cons: no display port, uses old VGA input, no speakers or optical out. Pros: large retail space for cost, 2 HDMI inputs. I got this for $100 so can't complain you don't get all the bells and whistles for under $500. I mainly needed more space for working from home so this was more than fine. The colors out the box looked very spot on, no complaining there, it gets pretty bright for the price point. Movies look good as well, the detail far exceeded my expectations, being a 1080p monitor you do loose crispness but not terrible as I've seen on others. I did have a over blown issue with macs on this unit but that's the mac (high sierra) not being able to resize automatically for this resolution. On PC windows 10 this was not a issue at all. I would highly recommend this unit for someone that needs a larger screen to get some work done and minor entertainment.

Bought this so I didn't go blind drafting on my laptop while working at home during the COVID-19 pandemic. It's a beautiful silver super slim monitor that fits anywhere. Huge display with great resolution. It was super easy to set up - out of the box and in use in minutes! Highly recommended if you're looking for a great monitor at a reasonable price.

I purchased 2 monitors and together they look almost seamless! No gaming for me, but you can't ask for a better duel work monitor set-up! Highly recommend!

I really love this monitor. I have the HP all in one 27" and am in love with that so I wanted the HP monitor to match. The quality is perfect and setup was so easy. I use it for work and personal but I am not a gamer so I cannot comment on that. I also got it during Black Friday so the price was phenomenal. I had my eye on it for a while and just waited for it to go on sale. My personal opinion is that HP in general is the way to go for computers and computer accessories. I have had them all but HP still comes out on top.

I am a senior software engineer working remotely from home and I was using a 17" laptop at first w/ one external 24" monitor to extend the laptop desktop so I could have two windows open and in sight at the same time (dual monitors). I bought 3 of the HP 27f monitors from BestBuy and they are AWESOME for work as a programmer; coding in Microsoft Visual Studio and SQL Server Mgmt Studio. Perfect for checking my tickets in JIRA, reading and responding to emails, and the best thing is I can clone the laptop desktop to one of them and extend to the other two. This is great. I also figured out how to close the laptop lid and keep the laptop from shutting off so basically the laptop is acting as a PC tower in disguise. I have surfed the web on these and watched videos on YouTube and the picture is great. I have not attempted any gaming on them so not sure how they respond/perform in those scenarios. Lastly, there are no mounts on the back to mount these on stands or the wall. You would have to create a custom solution to achieve mounting. NOTE: I also purchased a docking station so I could run three monitors at once from my laptop.

I think this monitor is fantastic! I have a 21” iMac and my work laptop is a Dell. I landed on this monitor because with a mini/HDMI adaptor and 2 HDMI inputs I am able to use this monitor with both computers easily. Color is great, brightness is amazing, it’s big!! It feels like a TV on the desk haha. I love it!

I needed extra monitor screen to learn computer software connected to my laptop computer at home. I visited Bestbuy store to purchase for this 27” monitor and I completely satisfied my purchasing. I have been using it over a month now. Its perfect size for home office. And it’s easy to set it up by myself and modern and simple design!! I recommend it to my friend!!

My husband and I absolutely loved our new HP monitor! We love its sleek - thin design. Matches well with our mac products! The color looks amazing (using an HDMI cable) - the image and color quality differs significantly when using an HDMI cable vs a VGA cable on this monitor. I highly recommend this item!

I would recommend this monitor to the novice cpu user. This is not a gaming monitor. But if using for business, study or basic use this monitor is nice! It’s super thin. And can mount if you want.

Got 2 of these during the Black Friday sales. I didn't realize how much of a great deal it was until I fell in love with my duo home office set-up and wanted to buy 2 more to replace the mess I have in my work office. Prices had more than doubled from Black Friday. I love these monitors. They're everything I need for my big data management, data analysis and research. Honestly, they make my work 200% faster and easier. Would highly recommend

I saw this monitor on sale for Memorial Day, waited until the next morning and jumped up $100! Luckily I waited until July 4th and found it a bit cheaper than the Memorial Day sale! Goodthings come to those who wait ;) Great great deal ~ $150 with tax! The Monitor is great, wide screen with awesome connectivity via the HDMI cable (included), and really good display visual/ visibility settings including a low blue light setting, reading setting, and others like gaming/ movie. I have another HP monitor I bought for the pandemic but has a lag, bulkier stand, didn't come with the HDMI cable, and it doesn't have the nice flat sleek look this one does. Overall, it's a beautiful and more importantly efficient screen well worth the price. Highly recommend, if you're a deal seeker Best Buy has some awesome sales to stock up on real value for great prices! :)

The monitor itself in weight is light and the size is perfect for my home office. My office desk is a secretary desk (thought it was trendy when I bought it at that time) so it being slim and light is perfect. Additionally the monitor does not get hot with all the screen time I spend on it. Specs are as described so I’m happy!

I wasn’t sure if this would be good at first considering I’ve never bought a monitor before. I’m glad that I got this though! Great viewing angles and the bezel is barely even noticeable. It does have an ultra thin screen, so be careful when handling. The stand is extremely sturdy and made of metal so no issues there. Picture quality is perfect in my opinion, no matter what you’re using it for. Games and videos look amazing. Two things to take a note of though.. If you don’t have an AMD graphics card you will NOT be able to utilize the freesync feature. This also does not come with speakers. Neither of these are a huge problem unless you REALLY need them. Overall.. this is a high quality monitor for the price. 15/10 would buy again boiiii

Works great with my Night Owl security cameras. It has great clarity and is just the right size.

This monitor is pretty amazing I would highly recommend this for gamers plus it also shows well when streaming movies or videos in other words you get what you pay for. Plus the different screen modes you can set it to makes it easier to do most task on this monitor.

Now that I have been working from home for a while I decided to upgrade my desk with double monitors. I absolutely love these monitors. I cant believe how clear and thin they are. Worth every penny. Having a double monitor has made life so much easier

I purchased this for my daughter to work from home during this COVID-19 pandemic. She had two monitors at work but was only allow to bring one monitor home so I decided to get her a second monitor (HP 27” FreeSync IPS) so she could do her job more efficiently. She loves her HP monitor, the display is really beautiful and she’s happy. If you’re looking for a new monitor get this one, you’ll love it.

These things are ridiculously nice for the money. Hard to knock them. I bought two. They sit side by side on my desk. My only real complaint is that they sit at slightly different heights. Which, is not adjustable. They're off about a 1/4". Makes my OCD a little itchy sometimes.

LOOKS GREAT. VERY HIGH DEF. NEEDED A SECOND MONITOR FOR MY MANCAVE COMPUTER.
