Perfect for home office needs
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just what I was looking for an affordable printer without all extras. The ink refills are also affordable. Perfect for a home office with light printing needs. Only problem I had was the instructions for set up was missing some steps nothing I couldn’t google my way through though.

Good printer
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very nice printer. Set up was more complicated which was a surprise as past experience with other HP printers Were immediate and simple. But it is a good working printer and I do recommend it.

Printer did not last one year / 250 pages
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased in Sept 2020. Printing from Android Phone and Chromebook. Now worthless. Started by not being able to determine that Letter was not A4, and was printing off the page. Tried reinstalling and kept stalling out in setup. Then was not able to determine that Print Cartridge Door was closed in setup process. Have tried power cycling. Tried Restoring to Factory Default from within HP Site. Now just sitting on my desk with all the lights blinking on and off and the display randomly flashing images. Kept going to HP Site for assistance and was routed in a circuitous help loop back to self help forums or popups saying Support was temporarily unavailable.

Good All In One for the money
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall, this is a pretty good printer for the value. We bought it to replace another HP model that finally up and died. Setup is a little clunky trying to get all our smart devices to recognize the printer. The one downside, there is no way to hook up to an older computer via any wires and my old desktop (where this is located) does not have bluetooth. Not a big issue as I'm 90% on my laptop now anyway, but something to think about before you buy.

Print quality good but setup is horrible
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm happy with how it prints. Haven't done many pages yet but I believe it's fine. Setup on the other hand was horrible. Phone app could not find the printer. Set up for wireless was looping and failing. Finally got THAT set up and went to sign up for Instant Ink and could NOT find the "code" because this printer doesn't have the Web Print button. And instructions tell you to go to a web page that doesn't exist. Finally find how to print the network settings and you just login to the web page for the IP address of the printer. And the admin password is an 8 digit pin on the label on the back of the printer. So complicated!!! It's fine once it's set up and I look forward to being a 15 pp or less per month print person and getting free ink going forward!

Very basic, good price, had some issues at set up.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had mega problems with set up. Even the HP tech support agents had some problems. This issue was all regarding the sleep feature and some complication waking it up and getting it to print. It would help if the printer came with some good written set up and operational directions. Also, it's a very slow printer. This isn't a problem for me but it might be for others. The price was great so that's a plus. It's not what I am used to with other HP printers that I have/had, I did decide to keep it since it does what I need it to do, now that we got it working properly.

Not just a Plug and Play Printer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The set up on this printer was way more complicated than it needed to be; it wasn't just an easy plug and play printer. This printer is good for simple print jobs and college students. After researching I believe the subscription is worth it. In the long run you end up spending more money replacing the ink cartridges having to go out and buy them.

not worth it.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchase an upgraded model. It took 5 hours to set this model up with tech support. they were unable to figure out why THEY were unable to link up my laptop to the wireless printer. Then they charged me almost $40.00 for 7 days worth of tech assistance, they tried to sell me a years worth of tech experience but I refused The printer is loud and slow. I have only purchased HP printers with out a problem However this one is terrible. Thankfully this is our Back up printer so we don't have to walk all the way across the house to use the primary printer

Difficult
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a nice printer, but gave me much trouble in the beginning. I was able to assemble and get it to work at first, but then it went offline and there my troubles began. Tried to get it back online and was told this printer didn't exist anymore. Took several days to straighten it out, it works now but pray it doesn't go offline again.

HP Wireless Printer
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Printer is okay. I am having difficulty setting printer up, very slow internet where I live and the directions for set up are very sketchy. Maybe HP could make the set up less stressful by addressing the actual printer not just a generic set up for all printers.

Difficult to install
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After 3 wks of trying MANY times to get this printer going Including a home visit that had to be cancelled because of a power failure, I finally got help from the GEEK Squad via remote that took him 45 min to fix. I don't know why these things have to be so difficult. But Marcos was wonderful & finally got it installed & it seems to be working.

If your not tech savvy…. Install could be a pain
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The printer has excellent print quality, but the software and the way that it interacts with the wireless network definately could be much better. It was almost impossible to set up, with very limited instructions. Their “ quick start guide “ was an epic fail at best, but once you get it to work then it’s fantastic.

Oh how I wish my old HP hadn't died.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this because I had an HP for years that finally bit the dust. I bought this one because I didnt want a wireless printer which is hard to find now. This one could be used directly from my laptop with a USB. However, you need wireless service to set it up and have the app on my phone. Defeated the whole person. Took hours to set up, hardly ever prints from my laptop and sometimes prints from my phone. Hate it.

Needed 2 printers
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The printer is okay. But I am on the second one. The first one would never print during setup. I spent about a day of my time with HP support trying to get it working before they finally told me that it was a hardware problem and the printer would need to be replaced. But they would not replace it with a new printer. Only refurbished. So I returned the printer to Best buy and swapped it out for a brand new one which works fine. But I skipped the minimal instructions for setup and just called HP directly to we take me through the setup steps the second time around to get set up with no problem.

Good home office printer but set up was tricky
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I print less than 25 pages a month so I wanted a small, basic, home office printer. The set up instructions were simple. The printer worked at FIRST. I consider myself to be tech savvy but I had to call HP Support. It seemed like the printer was not communicating with my printer, MacBook Air, and WiFi. I don't know the real issues. However, HP Support was able to quickly resolve the problem. I used the HP's chat function to communicate with tech support... no phone call necessary. Good to know: For an additional cost, you can send mobile faxes. The "mobile fax" option is in the HP app. Overall, it's a good printer. I knocked it down a star because of the setup.

Printer
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Printer is slower unless printing in draft mode. Usually like HP printers but this one has been harder than my others to get set up and printing right.

Frustrating set-up, Great printer
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great printer for the money! Set-up was not the smoothest, to be honest, and caused some frustration. But once it was connected properly, it works great, and is much more reliable than my old printer.
