    Kept getting a bios error. Crashed a lot. Best buy could not fix ended up returning and getting another laptop. The return was problematic. I purchased on sale and it was not on sale when returned, best buy said I had to pay the difference even though it was an even exchange. Ended up getting a "voucher" to purchase a new laptop. Had to wait several weeks for sale to purchase new laptop. They will have to be the only option before I shop at best buy again.

    Just purchased this computer on October 6 for my daughter for college. Windows does an automatic update and computer crashes. She brings it to Best Buy to see what can be done. They told her that they can fix it...$150.00 and its just bad luck that this happened. Sorry but I have spent lots of $$$$$ at best buy. The computer is still under warranty but not for this issue. I think its time to give my $$$$ else were. And to think I almost bought another computer like hers Sunday. Glad I didn't! Buyers beware...

    Best Buy will Not warranty this after 15 days!!! Unit quit charging after 2 and a half months. Of course they will charge to check the problem out, plus parts and labor after 20 minutes of diagnostics....

    Not sure if the AMD chipset was the problem, or why this would not take all the windows updates. 2x after hitting 99% on updates it would crash and have to start over out of the box. Reinstalled from the web a 3rd time vs default local image, hoping it would be a newer image with less updates. 3hrs of dead end, returned.

    The sales person lied just so I would purchase this item. And no one will assist me with this matter after making over 14 calls and they want to transfer me to someone that doesn't help! Very poor customer service.

    Worst laptop I've ever owned. I've always purchased Dell but decided to go with the HP ENVY - I am sorry that I did. Computer has a mind of it's own thinking it can make changes to my home page, screen saver, size of page when I'm typing - Would give anything to return to store and swap for a Dell

    Learned my lesson with this one - NEVER ever ever buy a laptop online, NEVER buy one without trying a floor model out first. This is the worst HP machine I’ve ever owned. Track pad? Garbage. Keyboard? Garbage. Their best/WORST interpretation of a Mac Book and it’s a piece of junk. I can’t wait til I’ve paid this thing off to rip it apart with my bare hands. No hyperbole there. I’m looking forward to it. Don’t but this. I’ll post pics and satisfying video.

    The day I bought the new computer I came in with one working computer. I left there the next day with 2 computers that didn’t work. I finally got my old computer working somewhat. The new computer has no sound which is a real problem because I bought it for my DJ business. Also you have no record of the copier I bought. A message or phone call would be nice.

    Bought it and set it up with no issues, browsed the internet for a few minutes and shut it down. Next day went to use it and said it couldn’t detect the processor, a few hours of trying to fix the issue later I returned it

    Never again will i purchase an HP product. Within 6 months the computer fan went out and lots of static coming from the speaker. I spent 6 hours, yes, SIX hours on the phone with HP . They finally advised to send it to a repair center since it is under warranty. HP then sends pictures of the USB port warped and damaged and tried to charge me 480.00 when i paid $650 for the entire computer. The computer was not damaged when in my posession and all i can speak with are agents who barely speak English, dont listen to my complaint, and speak from a script. To get my computer back i have to pay for it 2x even though its under warranty and the computer was not damaged while in my care. NEVER again will i purchase an HP product.

    Computer worked ok besides the fact the camera didn’t work on it at all. Yes It was openbox but it said it was in excellent condition I’m pretty sure that’s why it was returned first time and they didn’t fix issue. I ended up having to pay more to get a external camera because they had no more of the same computer

    I bought this envy laptop and it has stopped working within one week of purchase. And best buy doesn't even help to exchange it. I recommend don't waste your money on best buy products.
