    Best Buy Ripped Me Off On This Purchase! So Angry!

    I ordered this in an open box in Excellent condition (Like New they said!) It was just a few dollars cheaper but it stated it comes with all packaging and accessories. I figured why not save a few bucks right? WRONG! I got a laptop with Best Buy stickers on it and a charger not even coiled up in a box way to big for it with two thin sheets of bubble wrap. This laptop was thrown around like a basketball inside that box during the delivery process. I immediately contacted customer service. They offered me two options. Send me a new one, or 10% off of this one.Well 10% off is nothing on a purchase this size so I asked that they just send me a new laptop. I was asked if I want to go to the store or do via mail. I live no where near a Best Buy (closest is like 2.5 hours away) I asked it to be mailed ASAP as I need a laptop for work and this was purchased to replace the Asus that died. Suddenly I was told they have none available although they show in stock at multiple locations. I have no box, no paperwork, no manufacturer label that shows date of manufacture, model and serial, no windows sticker, nothing that should have come with it. This is a complete rip off. I am beyond upset and will be returning this to purchase elsewhere and although I have always used Best Buy as my go to for electronics, I will NEVER EVER purchase from them again based on the way they handled this issue. Photos below showing exactly how this expensive laptop arrived to me. Are you serious Best Buy??!! I highly recommend this laptop but you should buy it somewhere that rectifies their mistakes on orders.

    Slow Ram & inefficient for just everyday use

    Purchased 9/2024 HP - Envy 2-in-1 16" 2K Touch-Screen Laptop - AMD Ryzen 7 - 16GB Memory - 1TB SSD - Meteor Silver. Beautiful color, keyboard, sound and 2 in 1 feature. Geek squad data transfer was good. Sadly windows 11 and extra programs installed on device are using up a lot of Ram and slowing this computer down to a crawl. Currently at 65% ram usage when computer inactive. It’s taking about 5 minutes to open up chrome or the edge. My old spectre with 8 ram that’s 9 years old and on windows 10 is light speeds faster than this one. I’ll have to bring it in to the geek squad and see if they can find some remedy but I fear I’ll have to buy a new computer. So it worked for 6 weeks and the aesthetics are perfect but the device is not good. Choose another.

    I'm highly disappointed in this product. First one overheated a little over 1 year. Purchased another one Dec. 2024 and on Jan. 20, 2025, I turned it on and get another overheated message. Never again will I buy this product. Best Buys states it's past the time for me to return it. Unbelievable

    This computer had all the specs I wanted in a laptop. I sadly got a defective one, new out the box. Turning it on and connecting it to the internet was a hassle. It kept dropping the signal even though the rest of my devices worked smoothly and had fast internet. I turned the wifi off from my other devices to see if that was the problem... it did not fix it. I had to reset the laptop a few times in order for it to finish programming. The internet was super slow to load any page. I went to the HP drivers website to try to download drivers. I would download and would only get to 3%. I tried to fix it myself with steps online but nothing helped. I even reset the network in settings. Returning it was very quick and easy thing since it was within 15 days.

    I ordered this supposedly from the Glen Allen store, and made the mistake of not picking it up in the store. The website offered free delivery on the next day, which is what I opted for. Not only did it not arrive - I was told I could not pick it up in the store because it was coming from a totally DIFFERENT store! Today, I received a message that it would be delivered in TWO WEEKS. Do better, Best Buy. I will NOT be ordering electronics from you again.

    The touch screen did not work so returned - 1 star, reading customer reviews, I believe there are many that have had problems and for many years and HP has not fixed it. If I could give stars for the individual I purchased from and customer service at the Roanoke Best Buy it would be 5+

    When I went to register this computer with HP I found out it was a discontinued model. There was not any indication of this on Best Buy's website when I purchased it. It was intended as a Xmas gift for a college student and a discontinued model would not have been appropiate.

    I was so excited to receive my my laptop. But when trying load windows 11 things went south. I requested a exchange but got a cancel order. Can't understand why I get a replacement.

    Lasted only 2 months before just randomly dying. Gotnit serviced at bestbuy (10 out of 10 to them) and they suggested just refunding and getting store credit then trying to fix this device.

    BRICKED! Lasted 13 months - 1 month out of warranty. Yes, it has great features, but from early on - maybe month 4? it would randomly restart about once every two weeks. Then recently another random reboot, then stuck in reboots until the BSOD. Now it won't even power on. Don't do it!

    Both Best Buy and HP told me the battery life would be 12 hours. It is actually only about 4 hours. When I confronted HP they told me it is 12 hours if you are not using the computer. The supervisor told me the HP sales department was just upselling their product. Purchase from a company that backs there products and does not mislead its customers
