    Bitlocker nightmare

bought this for work. Was working well until it had all kinds of issues keeping the internet connection. I tried to shut it down and reboot. Now activated something called "bitlocker" and locked out completely. Cannot get past it. Terrible waste of time, energy and effort. I am bringing it back because I do not want to have this issue again.

Very poor performance for a PC in 2025. Worked well for a few days but started freezing up and working very very slowly a week or so in. This was used as an secretary computer, so not a huge workload. I returned this for a "better" spec'd HP OmniDesk PC with even worse results. Buyer beware.

Feels like I bought a machine built for showing you ads. I've tried to find and turn off all of the settings for pop-ups/suggestions but I still keep getting them. Not worth it.

    Good Computer-Terrible HP Support

Computer is fine,. Nice upgrade from a 10-year old non-Windows 11-Capablemachine. A week after buying, I got some Amazon Basics speakers, as my old speakers weren't working with new machine. Got the speakers working and was quite happy. The next day, speakers stopped working. I tried them on my old machine and they were fine. Went trough all the trouble-shooting, nothing helped. Did an on-line chat with someone who was no help. Spent over an hour on hold today to get someone who told me they can't help because the speakers "aren't HP". I'm pretty sure the problem is on the little speaker jack on the back of the machine because headphones I plugged in there don't produce any sound either. Probably should return the computer but it was a hassle getting everything transferred and working. I get a little sound out of my monitor so I guess I'll just live with it.
