Good quiet fast wireless printer
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased the hp OJP 8035 July 2019 during a special hp promo at Best Buy. It is a good-looking machine. My favorite aspect is the Quiet setting. The colors and text are fine. It is much faster than the other printers I have had - Dell & Canon. No issues faxing, scanning, or printing. It works as it should. The only aspect I do not like is the paper tray. The paper tray itself is somewhat "sticky" to pull out & push back with every single paper load. The pull-out tab to hold multiple pages is very small and does not seem sturdy. It needs to be manually pulled open each time. Should you forget, your papers/pictures/posters/whatever will fall onto the desk & continue to the floor. I prefer the Canon for this aspect, which automatically opened a large paper tray when printing was engaged. Contrary to what others said in their reviews, I have had no difficulty printing from my iPhone, iPad, or iMac with Catalina OS. All in all, relatively satisfied with the printer and would recommend. In the photo, to be clear, I keep the printer on a stand and keep a supply of paper underneath.

Small office need has enterprise level solution
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Review of HP Office Pro 8035e Hardware Benefit: Aside of standard features seen in any printer, HP Office Pro 8035e has: 1. Secure aspect: network connection and password 2. IPv6 3. Basic aspect of enterprise level feature: print if the owner of the print is near to the printer 4. High support via mobile application 5. HP+ as service A-Printer Setup A1. Insert the ink cartridges following the instruction shown in the printer touchscreen display. A2.Setting Connection: aside of cable connection for power and phone, internet can be setup via ethernet or wifi. Connecting via WiFi, takes two different steps. One from the printer self in which need to select the WiFi name, and from the Mobile Application add the printer and indicate the wifi Connection, then it doesn’t ask to enter password and automatically recognize and setup. A3. As part of initial setting, the instruction help to calibrate the printing. Note on this aspect HP does the calibration by printing lines and figures, then scanning to check it. A4. As it has dependency on Mobile App, need to personalize to user own need and these are: A4.1 Allow Printing from Anywhere, Require Private Pickup, to name one of key option I find important. But the application provide wide variety of option to adjust other preferences like Quiet Mode, Tray and Paper, Cloud Scanning. B.HP+ This is an addition that comes with the printer and it is part of Printer Setup A4 above reference, but also comes other services: Plan of ink supply based on number of pages. Setup shortcut, which allow to prepare the printer to scan for instance to Google Drive or Dropbox. Or setup an email to which send the print via which would be printed. The service has unique benefit based on the application: Security Monitoring that consist of Secure Power On, Secure Firmware, Protected Memory, Secure Network Connection; Print Anywhere that consist of options for Allow Printing from Anywhere and Require Private Pickup; Safe Automatic update; Password Set Now, specific to plan, during initial setting of account in the application, HP list pricing plan as of date of the review: $0.99 15 pages/month, $2.99 50 pages/month, $4.99 100 pages/month; $11.99 300 pages/month; $24.99 700 pages/month. Upon choosing one plan, next day immediately HP create order and ship the inks. C. The experience Aside of normal expectation, it worth to remark the ease of printing from any devices. From the device as soon as select to print, the printer get recognized from the network if it is the first time. Scanning to cloud is ease once the where to store has been setup properly. Aspect where that hasn’t been straight was : a. printing via email. Compared to other brand in which if send to an email assigned to the printer would print, with HP Office Pro 8035e I couldn’t see the printing. b. Scanning to cloud is not immediate effect, Meaning, after scanning completed, the file doesn’t show immediately in the associated cloud storage, at least this has been the experience with Google Drive. Compared to other brand I used, it takes longer time. Naturally this depend on each person’s context of network connection. c. HP+ service is needed for certain feature which if upon subscription is expired or not renewed loose the benefit of application. But it is not clear which depend on HP+ and which doesn’t. Another aspect is that while setting the printer and the application for first time it ask to provide credit card information for the subscription. Although it is optional, subscribing to it feels bit awkward as first step of setting the printer. Continuing with HP+, based on the subscription, HP notify it has been created the order and shipped. But the shipping tracking doesn’t appear in the app, instead need to check via web entering again user and password. The shipping method is Ground so expect couple of week to receive. Note on Free Trial of 6 Months: have mind it is up to 700 pages according to HP from my account. Conclusion: The printer has basics for small office need with aggregation of some of feature, security and service provided for large enterprises. It is flexible such to print from any devices in the network by anyone and the user or owner has control of it via mobile application, and service via HP+. As last comment on HP+, at HP website doesn't describe as service or paid service while the the process of setting up the printer offer paid plan and the comparing table from HP website does strictly mention benefit of paid service. Bit odd how they describe it. See https://www8.hp.com/us/en/printers/hp-plus.html And although I did like it and recommend it, not very sold to the idea of dependency to additional monthly paid plan.

Good home printer
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This printer is easy to set up. App needed. Took me 2 tries. And less than 10mins. It’s kind of large for our small desk. The screen is a good size, bright and doesn’t lag. Ideal for smaller finger. Printing black and white is very fast but color and detailed prints take a little longer. Over all great functionality and good quality prints.

Great printer! Awesome service!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Picked this one up to help with getting my children’s school done with the current switch to online learning. I actually drove to 3 different places to find this printer model, before seeing that it was available for curbside pickup (which was awesome, and I’m grateful for how easy this was) at a Best Buy 30 minutes from my home. I got a great deal ($100 off of the normal price because of a promotion, and I got what turns into 10 months of free ink from HP)! I got it home and it was so easy to connect—which I was worried about because I use a MacBook Air, which can be tricky to begin with but also doesn’t have a CD drive for software downloads. It was very simple to set up, and the HP app is a quick download for any other device, making wireless printing simple from any device. I love the ink service and just got my first shipment of ink. It’s so great to no longer have to remember what type of cartridge it takes and constantly second guess myself at the register after picking up what I think is right. The downside (which I had with my old printer and may be a connectivity issue on my end) is that I find myself having to constantly switch channels for my router between extended times of no use. Otherwise, it was a great buy, especially at the price I got it. It feels like a step up from a standard home printer to something that could actually be a great home office printer. I am a full time college student, and I have four kids in school, and this printer was a great life-saver when everything got switched to online!

HP 8035 3 month review
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The HP OfficeJet Pro 8035 is a reasonable “All-in-One” system The printer is fast with 20 ppm black & white and 10 ppm color. The printer is a compact size that doesn't take up a lot of space on a desk or table. The printer's photo printing quality and color accuracy are decent enough for casual photos. Its flatbed scanner and high scan resolution make it easy to scan in photos and the automatic document feeder for scanning multi-page documents. Setup and connection to the internet was a breeze. All I had to do is to follow a link in the instructions on a phone or computer and download the HP printer app. The App walks you through the setup process. I quickly connected multiple computers, tablets and phones to the printer. The drawback on the printer is that it lacks duplex scanning capability, so you have to manually flip over the double-sided pages, the small ink cartridge size I can recommend the HP OfficeJet Pro 8035 as a family household printer.

Good quality printer.
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall this is a good printer. It does seem to use quite a bit of ink. I never knew there was a built in cartridge cleaver so you could clean the print head. I don’t really like using HO instant ink but it has saved me multiple times. Fax works good and scanner is nice- since it has the top feed option.

Good home printer for working at home
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Have had the printer for a month. Good printer for home, working remotely. I had an Epson printer which had been acting up for several months and finally died. I needed something I could have right away or within a day or two, ant that would not break the bank. I did a little research and went to Best Buy to get this one. Quick set up, no problem with wifi printing. It prints quickly and clearly. Scanning is very easy wirelessly. The print cartridges are a little less costly than those for my Epson. I wish the paper drawer was a bit bigger and it does seem a little flimsy so I am being careful. Overall, I am happy with this printer.

Not Eye Candy but Good
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The HP OfficeJet Pro 8035 All-In-One makes great copies in both, color and black and white. Using the double-sided feature took longer than I anticipated, but I was well pleased with the outcome of the finished product. The printer is big, but it is very lightweight for moving from one area to another. The color of the copier is nice, but the material looks low on budget. Using the printer is easy. Removing the paper tray is challenging at times. It gets often gets stuck. Overall, I like the printer and I am having great success with using it for my printing needs.

Very nice small business printer
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We are a small business and this printer turns out professional looking documents. We’ve only been using it a couple of weeks; hopefully, I won’t have to modify my opinion down the road. I like that it has separate ink cartridges for each color. So far, the only criticism is that the tray that the printed paper slides onto is too short. The overall printer size is great-it doesn’t take up too much desk space.

good all around printer
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This printer is great for all around printing jobs. Easy to use, good quality printing. The paper tray was not designed very well, though, and is somewhat difficult to move in and out. It is also a little difficult to maneuver when there is a printing job going on and you need to add paper. Otherwise, very good printer for the money.

Happy with my HP
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am very happy with my HP Printer. I do a lot of front and back printing, so having that feature makes it convenient. The fax machine is simple to use and works great. I don't care for the paper drawer. It doesn't pull out easy, like my previous HP, and makes it an inconvenience when having to deal with it. I'm quite sure it be the first thing to break. And the ink is expensive.

Good HP quality
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a pretty good quality and fast inkjet, with all needed features, and near-business durability, but do NOT use the Instant Ink, and I now try to get folks to migrate to laser printers, which are so much less expensive in the long run.

Great printer for a home office
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works really great. Super easy to set up and came with 1 yr of hp smart ink. You actually get 6 months free and a $30 credit in the $5 per month plan. I really like the hp smart app. It works well with both my Mac and my PC. Double sided copying is very easy. The printer is fast and relatively quiet. I wish it scanned both front and back but if that’s important to you, you can spend about $30 more for an upgraded version. Overall, very happy.

Great Pinter
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very happy with this printer. Prints quickly, was easy to install and connect to my network and my computers, phones, and tablets. A bit noisey. My only complaint so far - seems a bit cheaply made - especially the expandable drawer that adjusts where the printed docs or pictures come out - a bit flimsy. But so far, so good. I signed up for the instant ink, and that is a bonus - one year free!

Quality, Compact Printer for the Price
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wireless works great with an HP Pavilion Laptop, but my Microsoft Surface Tablet and (work) Dell Elitebook refuse, so it's cabled to the tablet. Good quality print and scan, haven't needed to fax. Setup was easier the second time (first for me, second for the grands). Print cartridge replacement is easy so no complaints other than wishing the color options for the top were still/more available. Drab office gray doesn't appeal to 18 year olds.

Printer is fine (need to use HP tech to set up)
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased about a month ago. The printer is actually as I expected after reading the reviews. Prints fine/Scans fine and mobile app is easy on devices. The reviews said the paper tray and the whole thing really is not sturdy .. this is true, the whole thing seems fragile. If you need to access the paper tray constantly or have to lift the lid to use the bay multiple times a day I would NOT recommend this printer. However if it is just being sent print jobs and scan via the doc feeder it should be fine. Installing on a desktop or laptop I would recommend using getting an HP tech to help setup. This process takes a while but they way they install ensures all aspects of the printer work. Just using the HP App on any device will not. Anyway, after about 3 weeks I noticed a light blue line down the middle of each document I scanned. I called HP help, diagnosed over the phone, and they ended up sending another printer. The printer arrived quickly, but I had to get back on the phone with them AGAIN to install it correctly. Again, since I knew it would take a while I didn't mind as I knew it would be done correctly. So bottom line .. HP help/support is great .. the printer seems fine, but I've already had to replace the original.
