Fast Print/Scan, Picture Quality Average
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking for a printer that could printer multiple pages quickly due to the amount of work I do. I decided to get the HP OfficeJet Pro 9025 and unfortunately it only met half my needs. I am disappointed at the sacrifices HP made choosing Quantity over Quality. It prints fast however all other qualities fall very short. Pros: Fast Print Fast Scanning 5G WIFI Color Touchscreen Phone App 2 Paper Trays Print Out Holder able to hold large print out stacks USB connector in front Easy Access to Printer assemblies for paper jams Laser ink Jet Cartridges are cheap Cons: Difficulty printing certain font styles Photo Print low to average quality Uses Laser Jet instead of Ink Jet Cartridges Noisy when Prints Bulky ::Setup / Install:: The setup and install of the printer was fairly easy, you can configure from the color touchscreen or the phone app. Also if you wish to install via the computer you will need to go to HP site to download the software to run. It does not come with any software packaged, you need to either go online or use the phone store app to grab. ::Print Quality:: Printing text based documents, scanned item (Non Picture), booklets are very fast and quality is decent. Decent due to some font styles appear incorrectly when printing. It is also very noisy to be sure not to print during odd hours of the night. Pictures come out faded, low quality and inaccurate color saturation. More then likely due to the limitations of a laser based versus inkjet ink cartridges. This printer is definitely meant for someone who prints documents on standard font styles and need large quantities printer. Overall I would recommend this for anyone who is looking to print large amount of documents in a short time. The cartridges are cheap and great for text based prints. However if looking to print anything graphical, avoid this printer and go with another printer. The quality is very low / average, passable for flow chart / graphs but that's about it.

Great print speed and quality nightmare Mac setup
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This printer if fast and the quality of the print is very good. That being said I have a new Macbook and setting up this printer has been a nightmare. I have been working with computers and printers since the first IBM XT and AT's. I am not at novice doing this. First off the documentation with this printer is almost non existent. I wanted one tray to have letter and one tray to have legal so I put letter in tray 1 and legal in tray 2. In the setting I told it what was where and then tried to print on legal and it worked but it doesn't duplex on legal. Then I tried to print something on letter and it only came out on legal. I switched paper in the trays and tried again and it still only came out on legal. In the settings it lets you choose the default tray and to lock a tray so it won't be used unless you choose the paper type in that tray when printing. I did this and it still pulled legal. I emptied the legal tray and it said I had no paper. The only way I could get it to print on letter was to put letter in both trays. I've printed 91 pages and only about 20-25 were what I wanted. I have a 6 month trial for their automatic ink plan which gives me 100 sheets a month. It doesn't have any way to tell them that I have 50 or 60 wasted pages printed because their setup is so bad. Luckily I get 700 pages a month for the 6 month trial so hopefully I will get it setup by then so I don't waste pages. The other issue I have is setting up my SMTP server. I have used the same settings I have on my Outlook and iPhone and no matter what I use I get a failed message. I also set it up on my Windows 11 laptop and that is a little easier. I would recommend on a Windows PC but caution on a Mac. It may be that this is all normal on a Mac since the Mac is new to me and Mac users will have no difficulty with it.

Scanning is SLOW and software not awesome...
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought an Epson sheetfed scanner about a month prior (when we all had to start being home) and LOVED it, but decided it is probably more practical to get an all-in-one printer instead of a standalone scanner...boy was I wrong! The ADF on the HP claims it holds 35 sheets, but I can only get about 25 in without it jamming. The scanner is S-L-O-W as heck and resolution only goes up to 300, whereas the Epson went up to 1200 and scanned about twice as fast at 1200. The HP software is bulky and annoying, and there is no option for blank page removal when scanning two-sided with mixed blank and non-blank pages, so I have to scroll through the entire document to remove each blank page one-by-one. The print speed is pretty good for an inkjet, but definitely not as fast as a laser. I do like that it holds a whole ream of paper between the two trays, and it is quite compact for it's size. It is also pretty quiet when printing and scanning. I have only had it a day and a half and I am already ready to return it, so take that how you will.

My printer thinks it's a CB radio
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pretty solid printer that does what it advertised with plenty of features to boot. My two gripes are 1. force Ink replenishment subscription while turning off manual features for PC connectivity. and 2. for some odd reason, My "Printer" yes my "Printer" is picking up radio conversations from a local trucker. I wish I could make it up but that has my experience for the last couple of months since owning this machine.

it is a printer, scanner.
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this model to get the 2 sided auto document feed. The second paper tray just came with it—not a feature I was looking for. I am disappointed with HP in their lax support for macOS. The extra features that HP used to support on macOS are no longer available: scan to Mac, scan to folder. for some reason the usb port doesn't seem to recognized any usb stick I use even after making sure it is FAT formatted.

Not Happy with this HP printer
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had HP Inkjet printers for many years. Don't like this one! Scan problems, extra steps. Also, to copy you have to take an extra step to print black or it automatically prints color from just making a copy at the printer. Wish it was like all the old ones. I do like the 2nd tray to have Legal paper ready if needed.

Nice printer--connectivity needs some improvement
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The unit itself is high quality. I found it easy to manually make copies and fax. It seemed easy to set up but printing from WiFi didn't seem reliable--I kept getting complaints from a family member trying to use it--so I opted to connect with USB. It now works but operation not as easy as other HP printers I've used.

Looking for a different model again.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Tray too short for legal. Copies fed through auto feed had several print askew or partial page. Legal in top has no cover - expect dust will build. Loud. Cheap feel. But it is fast. Looking for better model. Apparently a big ask.

Disappointment
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. What has happened with HP engineering? And why is Best Buy allowing HP to review this product as quiet (top listed) when you see all the real purchasers are reporting this printer as SO noisy? You may buy this model for its features, to replace your prior HP OfficeJet, but be prepared - the quality is gone and it is so clunky and NOISY you will not believe it. On Amazon I notice that HP has responded to the consistent reviews on the noise by stating that it is the startup routine but untrue - the machine is unbelievably loud when performing all print functions. With the obvious friction being heard on moving parts, there is a real concern for the life expectancy of this printer. It also shakes when performing all functions - none of its predecessors did that. HP used to have the smoothest, most dependable printers. Where are your engineers?

Not the usual HP quality!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Product was cheaply built and not what I expected. Previous HP 8720 was much heavier. Boxed item was missing usb cord and telephone cord. There was mention of a cartridge door, I but did not see one?

HP Multi Task Work/Home Printer
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Printer isnt as good as my old version . My old laptop did alot more stuff an this display is more complex to work with. It does print good but up top the loader doesn't let you load papers in you have to use the glass to copy papers . Also , it is harder to setup these printers than old ones an when the power goes off you have to totally reset the whole printer an wifi. The older models automatically kept the info an reconnected , i used to leave old model on all the time . This newer model i turn it off it heats up really fast an freezes with software.

HP 9025e
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.we have had various problems with setup - have had the geek squad come out several times to sort out scanning and sending. Also seems prone to paper jams. My previous HP printers were easier to work with.

Like the printer but disappointed in advertising
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The OfficeJet Pro 9025e is working fine and we are enjoying the benefits of it being faster than our previous printer. The reason we are giving it only a three star is because the box in which it came, and the invoice printed out when we paid for it both said we would get six months free HP Instant Ink. However, in spite of many long phone calls and a personal trip in to a Best Buy location they refused to provide the code needed by HP Instant Ink so that we could enroll the printer in Instant Ink.

Great ... when it works.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It took us awhile to get it set up and hooked to our WiFi for some reason. Never had a problem setting up a printer before. We worked with it for about an hour or so and finally gave up, turned it off and went to bed. The next morning when we turned it on, it was fine. It worked great for a few weeks and then one day all the lights on the printer started flashing at the same time. I tried to turn it off, but it wouldn’t turn off. Pulled the plug and left it alone. The next day it was fine. It prints beautifully, even double sided. But I think it’s possessed. Will be taking it back on Monday.

Poorly designed 2nd paper tray.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We got the one with 2 trays and the top tray does not have a paper length adjuster. So the paper miss feeds and prints on unexpected areas of the paper. Print quality is definitely good, the duplex feature works well and scanner and scan feeding tray for multiple pages works well also. The 2 star deduction is really for that extra tray issue. If your intention for this printer is fir duel trays, I would look elsewhere.

Not Quite As User-Friendly As My Other HP Printers
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this 9025e printer to replace my wonderful HP 8740 printer that I just wore out. This 9025e is one of the very few printers that HP offers with 2 paper trays. I need one tray for paper and the second tray for business checks. I spent the first 3 days having to void checks because the printer kept pulling them instead of printer paper. I set defaults on both my desktop and the printer, but finally broke down and started a chat with HP support. The tech did help me fix the paper tray issue, but didn't offer any advice on how to default the printer to make black copies instead of color copies. I like to print some things with color cartridges, but most of my photocopies need to use the black cartridge. I still have to remember to edit the color/black setting each time I want to make non-color copies. Sometimes I just go to my trusty old HP 8600 to make copies. Thank goodness I have my backup printer for things like this. I do wish, however, that HP wouldn't make us buy different ink cartridges every time we buy a new printer. I keep backup cartridges in case I have problems and always have to give them away every time I buy a new printer. One positive thing about this 9025e printer is that it is a little smaller than my 8740 and 8600 printers so it doesn't take up as much room. Best Buy did make purchasing this new printer very easy and I do appreciate that.
