nice picture, colors and over all very smooth
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had this monitor for a little over a year now and Its been great. The refresh rate and picture quality have been fantastic for gaming and watching shows. I have dual monitors and my other one is of lower quality with lower rates and the difference is very significant. I do recommend this monitor for any considering it.

7 months later and still enjoying.
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this Monitor on sale during the holidays(Nov 11, 2022) for 265.46. At this price it's a great value compaired to simular products in this 1440 at 165hz range. This monitor is being driven with an Intel 13 gen i7 13700K CPU & Gigabyte Eagle 4070ti OC GPU. I've been playing Horizon Zero Dawn, Hogwarts Legacy, and Elden Rign with this set up and everything looks stunning.

Epicness
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have owned two of these monitors for 1 week now. The color and refresh rate is amazing on this panel. I decided to go with 165hz over 270hz because there is no discernable difference to the eye or feeling in game. I am referring to the new 1440p Acer Predator 270hz monitor compared to this one. Both are amazing, but I went with the HP Omen after it went on sale for black friday over the $700 Predator. Make sure to download HP Omen Gaming Hub after purchasing this monitor.

Great display
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have an ASUS FHD gaming panel that offers 144hz. I wanted something in between 4K and FHD. When I saw this gaming monitor in the store for $379, for Black Friday, I knew it was one I was looking for. So I spent the next couple hours researching this item. The only downside I see with this is the lack of HDR. But despite not having HDR its IPS color gamut is so great I don't think you'll even notice. I have my Xbox Series X attached to this monitor running at 1440p with 120hz with VRR and this is an amazing experience. Love all the enhancements that this console brings to older titles. Wait for another sale and purchase this monitor.

Overall great but it's awkward to mount.
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First and foremost, the IPS display is absolutely stunning. The colors are vibrant, and the viewing angles are excellent, providing a truly immersive visual experience. Combined with the 1440p resolution, every game and video is rendered with exceptional clarity and detail, making for an incredibly sharp and lifelike picture. The 165Hz refresh rate ensures buttery-smooth gameplay, with fast-paced action scenes and quick movements appearing fluid and seamless. Paired with G-Sync technology, screen tearing and stuttering are virtually eliminated, resulting in a consistently smooth and responsive gaming experience. In terms of functionality, this monitor excels. It performs flawlessly, delivering crisp and clear images without any issues or glitches. Whether I'm gaming, watching movies, or browsing the web, it never fails to impress. However, the the VESA mounting on this monitor leaves something to be desired. The need to turn the mounting bracket at an angle can be a bit cumbersome and awkward, detracting slightly from an otherwise stellar experience. Overall, despite this minor inconvenience, I absolutely love this monitor. Its combination of stunning visuals, high refresh rate, and smooth performance make it a standout choice for any gamer or multimedia enthusiast. I would highly recommend it to anyone in the market for a top-notch display.

Beautiful monitor
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The monitor itself is beautiful. The picture is amazing. It has a bright led light that illuminates the bottom of the display that you can change the color and brightness of as well as one on the back. The only negative is the normal X bracket you use to mount a monitor does not fit this, it must require a special type of attachment to mount.

Beautiful
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this monitor when it was on sale for $100 off. Even then I would say it's probably worth it at full price. Not only is the screen really crisp and smooth the design is very modern and simplistic. I was never a fan of "gamer" looking products so I'm glad this wasn't too cheesy-looking or anything. The colors are great with this being an IPS panel. I don't usually notice IPS glow in dark scenes but if I do it doesn't look uneven or splotchy. The response time can be set in 4 different levels with 1 being the slowest and 4 being the fastest. I get quite a lot of ghosting with level 4 especially with text so I just set non-games to level 1 and use the Omen app to set games to level 3. The stand allows for height and vertical tilt adjustment but there is no rotation of any kind. The VESA mount in the back is still a 100x100 standard size but it's turned 90 degrees. If you have a mount that has a rotating mounting plate then it's no problem at all. Overall very good monitor and would definitely recommend.

Great monitor for gaming
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm still giving it 5 stars even though my first purchase had some issues with the screen. The screen has 3 dead pixels and it's flickering when I play game. I had to return it and gave it a chance then I got another one because I love its design and quality even though it doesn't support HDR. I don't care much about HDR so it's enough for a gaming monitor that I wanted. But I hope this monitor last for long. Well done Omen

Great for gaming
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.(This is my sister’s Best Buy account but I am the one using it fyi) I was searching for a monitor for awhile because I was setting up my gaming setup and the 27i had been on my radar for awhile. I knew the standard specs of what I wanted for what kind of gaming I would be doing. -1440p -144 hz or more -1ms response time -Freesync and G-sync -Flat IPS panel I do my gaming on my xbox series x which I love. I also in the future plan to make a rig in which I can connect to this monitor through DisplayPort. This monitor checked all the specs that I wanted and added some flair. Really cool design. RGB lighting. Nice and simple software. Not to mention that whenever I hop into an fps like COD or Rainbow i feel silky smooth gameplay in rich 2k resolution. Freesync works well with the AMD chip in the series x. The monitor also has no dead pixels and minimal ips glow like other people have had issues with theirs. I feel like they just got defective units. Also, be smart people. If you are going to buy a monitor for $500 dollars, buy a warranty to make sure you get your money’s worth. I honestly could go on a long list of pros about the monitor but I do bot wish to make this review absurdly long. I do however have some minor cons because no product is perfect. -Lack of HDR for $500 -Poor Stand Mobility -Weird Diamond Vesa pattern -Although the software is nice and simple the buttons on the bank are kind of janky. I feel that for this monitor price range competitors have HDR but the reason I do not care for the lack of is because most monitors at this price point that have HDR are not that good. So missing out on a feature that would likely be sub par is fine by me. I also wish there was a swivel on the stand but its fine for what I meed but some others may want more mobility. Which leads to the weird VESA mount. It is Vesa compatible but the pattern is diagonal so you're stand might not fit if it cant rotate. Again not a problem for me but could cause issues for some other people. The buttons on the back are kind of weird but I don't mid because the software is convenient for what I need. The monitor is also pretty easy to clean. A microfiber cloth works well to swipe away some smudge and spots but don't be too hard because I feel like the screen is a little vulnerable. But I wouldn't worry too much about it since Im sure the durability of the screen is fine and plus I purchased a warranty. Overall Great monitor. I really recommend this for gaming. Plus I got a sweet black friday deal and got it for $380 plus a $60 warranty. Well worth the money and Im looking forward to using this monitor for as long as it will last me( hopefully a long time ) I will update my review if anything unpleasant happens to the monitor over time. Whether it be wear and tear or warranty issues. Thank you for your time!

best budget monitor for 1440p gaming
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This monitor is secretly an overclocked game gear and it is the best monitor for the money. The color contrast is phenomenal and the addition of gsync and 165hz goes perfectly with a new gen gaming setup. Not only that but the color gamut is stellar and works great for video and photography as well.the build quality is awesome no plastic like other minitors i had before i comprared this and the dell s27 theres a huge difference in visuals and build quality

I recommend but see review for potential issues
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.8.5/10 Quick Notes: - The panel in this monitor is the same as the 1440p Nano IPS LG 27" UltraGear monitor. Buy whichever one is cheaper. - Gets very bright - visually stunning. This is a notable difference from other "budget" monitors - Bad viewing angles for an IPS display - Great black levels/contrast for an IPS display (once adjusted) - The look/styling of this monitor is fantastic in person - The matte display coating is very good and doesn't hinder the visual experience very much. Many matte displays destroy contrast and sharpness. I purchased this monitor for $370. At that price, it's an excellent choice. There are better options in the $500-$600 price. It is color accurate enough to do some photo/video editing (after you tweak the colors in settings). The On-Screen Menu is very easy to use. Match this with your graphics card's software (Nvidia or AMD) and you can get good control over the color and contrast of this screen. Most budget monitors (especially gaming-oriented monitors) really suffer in color accuracy and/or brightness. This excels at both. My backlighting is fairly even, not perfect but it is not noticeable in videos or games which is the most important thing to me. It would be difficult to find a better all-around monitor for $400 or less. Its great for Gaming, Productive work, Moderate photo and video editing.

Great picture made by LG worth every penny
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This monitor uses an LG hi-def panel, so you won't be disappointed at its performance. At first I thought the menu buttons on the back are misplaced, but after I've gotten the hang of it I prefer them over the confusing buttons most manufacturers put on the right-side bottom of the monitor. I saw some asking about the "OMEN" name being lit - it's not! But it is silver reflective, looking nice even from across the room.

Excellent monitor, bad quality control.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Beautiful monitor, with very nice colors, and the refresh rate is amazing. I rated it 4 stars only because I had to exchange my first one because it had a red bleeding issue on the top of the screen (see pictures). I had to make another 30-minute round trip to get a new one but the new one works great so it's not so bad. Height adjustable and it can tilt pretty wide, does not swing left or right. The 165hz is smooth as butter and g-sync works great. Spiderman looks amazing and if you're a sim racer this monitor is good for you too because Assetto Corsa and BeamNG have never looked so good. At $250, this monitor is a steal and you'd be dumb to not get it at this price. Do not buy at $400 though, there are a lot better monitors in the $400 range than this one, the $250 sale price is perfect.

good but not perfect
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.hardware wise its great, but theres an annoying light that keeps turning on randomly and i have to keep turning it off, i plug in headphones and it turn on, i launch a game and the light turns on. I can't overstate how obnoxiously bright the light is but i would like it to stay off when i turn it off. I'm also annoyed at the separate power brick taking up space on my table but as far as the picture quality it is a fantastic monitor so far.
