This is my first gaming pc but it handled the majority of my games beautifully! I eventualky upgraded the RAM to 63gb and added an SSD so now it's perfect for COD, Destiny 2, Diablo IV & Hogwarts Legacy with zero lag. The fans are a little louder than I expected but nothing horrendous. Would definitely suggest for a first time pre-built pc. Oh, and it looks beautiful so that's a bonus!

Great Computer for the Price. Quality Components for Gaming and Mining. 3060 Ti is 1 heck of a GPU and the Ryzen 7 CPU is solid too. Downfall: Don't expect to upgrade the memory on your own without using the HP Branded Memory. I purchased exactly the same brand and speed of memory but without the HP logo on it and it drops the speed from 3200MHz to 2400MHz. YOU HAVE TO USE HP MEMORY, THE MOTHERBOARD IS LOCKED to keep your Speed up. 16MB is good and haven't had a problem, just tried to Ad another 32GB to further future proof this PC. So if you need more than 16GB you need to Buy the memory from HP at 3 times the price of regular high end memory. Over all very happy with this PC for the Price point. I will be upgrading the Motherboard after I have cashed in all my Crypto to pay for it.

It's been almost a year since I first got my hands on the HP OMEN Gaming Desktop with AMD Ryzen 7 5800X, 16GB Memory, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti, and a whopping 1TB SSD - all in a sleek Jet Black design. Having purchased it from Best Buy, I can confidently say it's one of the best investments I've ever made in my gaming and streaming career. The HP OMEN is more than just a computer, it's an all-around performer, designed to deliver an unmatched gaming experience. Powered by the 8-core, 16-thread AMD Ryzen 7 5800X processor, this machine has never let me down, even when running CPU-intensive games or software. You might think I went a bit overboard with these specifications, but for a dedicated streamer and gamer like myself, it's exactly what I needed. The 16GB of DDR4 RAM ensures smooth multitasking and optimal performance in even the most demanding games. I can stream, chat with my followers, and play resource-intensive games, all simultaneously, without any hiccups. If you're a streamer, you know the struggle of dealing with lag, but with this PC, those worries are a thing of the past. One of the highlights of the HP OMEN is the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti graphics card. It brings games to life with stunning visual fidelity. Ray tracing, 4K resolution, high frame rates - you name it, the RTX 3060 Ti delivers it. This graphics card not only makes games look beautiful but also ensures a buttery smooth performance. As for storage, the 1TB SSD is a game-changer. Gone are the days of waiting forever for games to load. The SSD ensures rapid boot times and speedy game loads, while offering plenty of space for my entire game library and more. Plus, the Jet Black chassis with the classic OMEN logo adds a touch of elegance and a professional look to my gaming station. But the HP OMEN isn't just about top-notch specs. It's also about versatility and user-friendly features. It has a host of connectivity options, including multiple USB ports, an HDMI port, and a DisplayPort, allowing for various setups to suit your gaming needs. In conclusion, the HP OMEN Gaming Desktop offers unmatched performance, spectacular visuals, and efficient multitasking capabilities, making it a solid choice for gamers and streamers alike. If you're in search of a PC that can keep up with your gaming demands and help you reach your streaming potential, you can't go wrong with this one. Yes, I might have gone a bit above and beyond with the specs, but hey, when you're committed to delivering the best content to your followers, it's worth every penny! So, to all the gaming enthusiasts out there who are contemplating this purchase, my advice is simple: Go for it! The HP OMEN Gaming Desktop from Best Buy is an investment that won't let you down. Happy gaming!

Had her for over 2 years now, runs great. Cooling, gpu, cpu and ram, etc still holding up solid. Might wanna underclock the cpu to maintain those temperatures between the 70 - 85 degree Celsius range. This can simply be done in the OMEN Hub application. Highly recommend

Great PC, actually purchased with plans to gut it and rebuild it but still have not done that and am actually using it as my main computer in a 2 pc streaming set up. The parts in this pc are great and with the current situation going on I honestly do not think you can beat it. The only issue, and its a small one at least to me is the cooling but in this model its honestly not that bad and I am able to keep everything under 80c, the GPU has no issues at all and stays under 70 c except for very demanding games like cyberpunk. The water cooling is a little lacking as well, the big issue with it is the way the top of the case is designed, it does have holes but for some reason they used multiple layers and they are just not big enough to let all of the heat out, its such a wierd choice because it could function so much better but they just cut all these wierd little corners when making it. Another example is the cold plate does not cover the entire CPU, it is circular. Think of a pizza inside a pizza box and the box is the cpu. All the corners are exposed. If you can get past that and realize this thing needs a couple upgrades if you want the temps super cool than this is a great buy and honestly even after the upgrades it will still probably come in cheaper than trying to slap a similar machine together on your own. I personally dont care about that because i plan to rebuild it like i did my other omen BUT that being said its just so nuts to me that they did this, it would not have even been that much more expensive to make this have better cooling and honestly they could have passed the cost on to the user, had these computers shipped with a couple extra case fans and REAL air or water coolers they would probably be considered the best pre builts in the market right now. Such a strange move by HP to build these awesome machines and then cheap out on such a small but important detail.

Pros: Turned on as soon as I plugged everything in, GPU was secured with a brace, 1TB M.2 gen3 (specs included in photos), Great CPU, Great GPU for 1080p/1440p gaming, Nice 750W 80Plus Platinum power supply, Dual Channel 16GB Ram (should be expected, I know but it's a prebuilt and you would be surprised), decent PCB. Cons: HOT, too hot, so hot I had to underclock it and I recommend anyone who gets this to do the same (until/unless you move it into a new case with better cooling) Specs included of my underclock and temps at underclock both at idle and under load.

Pretty specd out for the price. And theres actually some airflow compared to most oem prebuilts. Still, the PC runs a bit hot and the single 120mm rad is barely cuttinig it imo. For s 3060ti this js fine, but inwould be worried using a 3080 or higher. VRAM issues can shorten lifespan. OEM's need to realise airflow makes performance drastically better. Its been so many years of "gaming builds" and theyre starting to do better. Coming from an avid PC builder, this is a great buy for most users. With a 5800x and 3060ti, youre pretty future proof for a good while. Especially considering the market.

I originally purchased the Alienware Aurora R12 (i7, 3070). As you can see from the reviews, it was a mistake. The reviews say it all. HP came through big time. from the liquid cooling, to the platinum 750w PSU (Alienware skimps out on), this machine runs very good at 1440p. COD around 110fps on Ultra. Bf5 around 120 fps on Ultra. Also the aesthetics kill Alienware. The inside of the case is well done and not hokey. Also props to giving dual channel ram out of the gate. Alienware out here giving 16gb of single channel ram on a $2k machine...

Overall it is a decent prebuild gaming computer. But there are some issues with my own computer (or not only mine), and I am considering returning it for a new one. 1. CPU temp around 55-60 degrees when I typing this review... under fan control normal (not sure it is normal?) 2. Some great YouTubers show that you can set the CPU power limit to 99% to fix the CPU hot issue. But my windows 10 doesn't have this option in the power option (see screenshot) 3. THE BIGGEST PAIN. Every time my computer sleep, I can not wake it up via keyboard, mouse, or even power button. After I update everything (08/14/2021 patch, or bios) follow https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Gaming-Desktops/Sleep-and-Wake-From-Sleep-Issues/td-p/7371838 Still does not work!!! I need to manul unplug the power supply and replug to turn on the computer, which is ridiculous! (I don't know it is a windows 10 issue or an Omen issue) I don't know how to upload a video about this... After sleep, the upper liquid cooling fan sounds loud, but push the power button for 10s won't restart the computer, and the keyboard mouse also not working........

The computer is a beast, I can Edit 4K Video no problem, with After Effects, Photoshop, illustrator, ETH Mining, Internet / Youtube -- I can do it all at once without a hiccup. RAM stays under 80%, CPU idles between 2-6% with occasional Jumps up to 80-90% when doing intensive rendering or compressing with the GPU running at 85-100% while mining. HOWEVER!!!!!! After waiting forever to get this computer I pulled it out of the box excited as a kid on Christmas... however as soon as I turned it on I could hear rattling and I was devastated, it stopped shortly after start-up. I didn't hear for the first 3 days but the Computer was running hot quick so to get some cooler temps once I started changing some fan speeds during Overclocking and under-volting the dreaded rattle came back. I turned the computer off opened it and examined each fan. To my surprise... Wires with clips were tucked under touching the GPU fan. Even though it stopped the original rattle I'm afraid it damaged the GPU fan because it clicks every once in a while... And the HP omen Gaming HUB Overclocking features are garbage! Here's why: -You cant Control the GPU (and the NVIDIA Hub wont let you manually control it all). -You cant control the voltage offset on the CPU... (Thank god for MSI afterburner) -You cant control any fan speeds. So Even though it says the safe temps for the GPU and CPU are 80-90 Celsius (says safe up to 100 for the CPU) when I first started put i was hitting those temps in minutes of having everything open and the fans would manually go super high and be extremely loud!! I suggest anyone to Download MSI Afterburner and try these settings on the 3060Ti, -Set Power limit to 60-70% -temp between 60-70 -core clock -502(as far negative as you can) -and my memory clock is stable at +1120MHz with fan between 30-60% (always benchmark your hardware and lower the memory clock if your computer starts become unstable i.e. crashing or problems in games or programs. By Under-volting I got the GPU running at 100% at 130watts between 45-50 Celsius (I can mine ETH at 65-68mh/s) and by keeping the glass panel off I keep the CPU and GPU between 35 C - 45 C idle and 65-80c max for CPU. Hope That Helps everyone!

If you are due for an upgrade and you game, or work on the PC this is the machine for you. I am absolutely in love with not only the aesthetic but the performance as well. I can stream call of duty on maxed out settings while in discord with no issues whatsoever. I also run my business using this PC too - kajillion tabs open all the time, editing videos, zoom calls, building websites, ad dashboards. Works flawlessly thus far. I've only had it for a month or so, if anything changes for any reason I will come back to update my review.

Excellent gaming pc!! I just wanted to put this out there for everyone. I bought this about a week ago and man am I blown away!!! It’s super fast and super quite. I haven’t heard any noise and I run all my games on ultra settings and I get well over 100 fps on all games..also the GPU hasn’t gotten above 80 deg (generally stays lower)and I’ve put it through several stress test. It didn’t get above that temp even during stress test..well I have one game running at 99fps. I have to say I highly highly recommend this machine. I swear if I could give it 100 stars I would! The benchmarks were great had a score of 4500 and an average of 148fps. I run it on a 32 inch 1440p qhd 144hz ips monitor and I’m Wow’d every time I turn it on!!! Ohh one more the thing the cable management was great too!!

I wanna get this straight.....all these bad reviews of this pc are wrong this pc does not have any cooling problems at all. you can even change the fan speed in the software which people don't realize cause they don't study it before they buy it. not only that people that are having problems still probably haven't updated your drivers you can just expect to plug it in and your all ready to go that's not how a pc works. this gaming desktop is top tier with the price and specs its such a good deal, I'm able to run amazing settings on all games with max FPS and still be able to watch YouTube videos and listen to music on my 2nd monitor. its such a beast of a computer and it is way bigger in person you can trust me when i saw that this is a must have!!!

Lets start off with the pros… This is literally the best prebuilt I have ever seen in my life. Period. Great cable management, extremely attractive case and lights, and the specs are just awesome.. plus HP threw in a 750 watt power supply by cooler master. You do hear the fans really kick in while gaming, BUT by absolutely no means is it annoying… it’s just noticeable. The only con I have with my 30L is that it does get hot while gaming. That Ryzen 7 is a miniature oven lol. All in all I’m still extremely happy with my purchase… especially when it’s almost impossible to buy a rtx 3060ti or any graphics card currently.

This product was a bit more expensive than my budget, but so worth it! Best computer I've had so far, and the customization of the lights was a welcomed surprise! Very excited to see how well it runs the next expansion of my game! So far runs my games perfectly while being capable of running the game, streamlabs, and also several other vtuber related programs simultaneously without over heating as much as my old computer did.

GPU crashed after a week. HP support was fast and helpful but now I need to wait for a 30 day old computer to be shipped and repaired. Omen 30L 5800x 3060Ti Win21H1 MSFS 2020 would crash to desktop with no errror message Xplane 11 will run but with a spiral flicker. DCS CTD at startup no message LM Prepar3d CTD at start no message All updates made to win, bios . . . . HP confirmed defective GPU and offered to ship a slightly upgraded refurbished model (New Condition on arrival) along with my previous SSD. Total of a two week turnaround. My conclusion is that the machine is very good when it runs. HP customer support is excellent but their hardware is questionable. Will update if anyting changes.

It’s worked great for me for almost a month, it does blow pretty warm air when running heavy FPS games, wish it had a few more fans on it, other than that I haven’t found a game I can’t run at full max settings. I lock my FPS 144 to my monitor and they all stay at that.
