Very Good improvement Laptop The AI features are
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Here is my review after using the Spectre X360 16" with the 4050. The Laptop is very studdary for some reason. I hope HP real eases some sort of update in the near future. Batter life is about 7 hours of Email tasks, word document, YouTube watching videos. The laptop does not screen wobble when tying which is a huge improvement over the predecessors. Get this laptop at the sale price that Best Buy rolls out every now and then.

Great specs with mediocre performance
||Posted . If I wasn't addicted to a touchscreen, the Macbook pro offers so much more performance for the same price... and if screen quality didn't matter, I would save 1k with the Envy series. Microsoft surface would have been my go-to (at 15") if it used AMD instead of Qualcomm as I require some specialized programs. There is no other way to get a 16" touchscreen with this much pixel density on a laptop with 32GB of Ram and a discrete (though basic) graphics processor. Most OLED screens hurt my eyes, but this one is surprisingly gentle. Unfortunately, this laptop struggles to coordinate great specs into a great user experience. It is always hot, especially on the right side, fans turn on even when it is not in use, and the graphics card gets maxed out on a zoom call. Apple, please make a touchscreen!!!

Could be much better
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Honestly, I'm torn. On one hand, this laptop is fast. But the keyboard leaves so much to be desired. Granted not many laptops this size have a numeric pad, but the printing on the keys this has make it look like it was designed for use by a first grader! They're HUGE. The touch screen is nice but the failure to include a SmartPen is another indicator of cost savings at the expense of usability.

Decent. Good for everyday life not for gaming
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's okay. Very durable, accidentally dropped it when I tripped over my shoelace on carpet. Speedy on internet and can handle several different browsers and windows and apps being opened at the same time. But you cannot play a single video game. No League of Legends, it can barely handle Minecraft. Touch screen is a little wonky as you cannot drag most items you have to use the touch pad in order to do so. But it is helpful when zooming in on things.

Maybe mine was faulty?
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I went to Best Buy anticipating buying the HP Transcend 14 but from just playing around with the floor models and talking to the helpful Best Buy employees, i somehow landed on buying this bad boy and I was excited. Out of the box this thing was slow. It lagged whenever i even touched the screen while say youtube was playing. The Wi-Fi download speeds were super slow. I have a work laptop, and ROG Ally, a macbook air and ipads and i can verify my download speeds are not slow but downloading the same apps i downloaded numerois times on my other PC’s were so slow on my unit. Even steam games were noticeably slower to load than even my ROG Ally. The front facing camera in all of its 9 megapixel glory had initially failed to impress me vs the camera on my Macbook Air, but after choosing 4k resolution and using a ring light, I would say the camera was very legit after some tweaking. Same with the sound, initially isnt as good as my macbook air which would normally be very sad considering the size difference but after tweaking with the sound settings for a bit, it did start to sound good, but not as good as my macbook. Gaming was great with the built in RTX 4050 which is ridiculous to have in a laptop like this but hence the price. OLED screen is great at this size. Overall though at this price point i expected better especially when conparing it to much lesser valued products that simply outshine the features of the expensive masterpiece. It felt like my laptop was undervolted or the power was being held back, because for having the latest and greatest intel processors, my laptop lagged more than my smaller older HP Spectre x360 that was bought in 2015. I dont get it. I ended up returning this due to not justifying rhe pricepoint with a very laggy experience.

HP bloatware mess
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just ok. HP bloatware really kills the product. The only downside to it other than the software is that the palm rejection sucks.
