This computer has some issues but is good for a starter computer. It may seem compact and easy transport, but it is extremely bulky and easy to break.

Overall good bargain for the money, and the ability to use the screen as a tablet should help my daughter in college. The current faster processer was also a key feature in purchasing this computer, as was my previous purchases of HP computers and printers. She is very pleased with the product, and I am pleased with the price and the value of the purchase.

Terribly inconsistent response when turned on; sometimes I must enter password via touchscreen, (will not recognize mouse or keyboard) other times I can use keyboard; also, (sometimes) a message that is apparently a flaw comes up before booting up, "EC Flash Dock, yes/no;" HP Website info is that no one (not even Best Buy!) knows what this is. Machine will then not always boot up at all , I must just turn it off and start over. Next try, it might be fine. Too quirky. I have not yet tried to use this as a tablet, so frustrated with using it as a laptop. The Fear Factor. The touchscreen element is new for me, but I like it, and if I ever get the "bugs" out, I'll be happy. All in all, though, I believe I could have done a lot better.

I purchased as an open box so it was a great price. Nice features as the screen easily disconnects to be used as a tablet. A little heavier than my HP notebook however a good tablet/laptop for home use.

Keyboard attachment feels like quality Wireless works great. Touch works well. Kind of heavy but feels more like quality. Not as easy to move around as ipad Mini, but there is always going to be a trade off with size. Over all I am completely satisfied.

I had this unit for a month and a half. It started freezing up and not responding about 4 weeks in. There were only a couple programs added and nothing that should have caused conflict. The unit is very nice and a great space saver. I think I will stick to towers instead of the All in One's

It works great just a bit heavy.all metal the battery life is good touch screen works real well.great for at home use I would not want to carry it around due to wait.

I enjoy the 2 in 1 feature. I can choose to use it as a laptop or a tablet. I enjoy the fact that I have a choice on how I can use it. I don't have to be stuck with a laptop or just a tablet.

This computer was purchased for our son going to college. He loves the fact that it's a tablet and computer. All the hardware is in the tablet portion so even detached all you info is still with you. Also he is able to do graphics with the touch screen that were much more difficult before. Finally the solid state drive takes the waiting out of everything.

I love this hybrid laptop. It has excellent battery life and functionality as both a laptop and a 13.3 inch tablet.

Touch screen 2-in1 hybrid laptop...it's pure magic! I love it. Can never go back to a regular computer again. Sleek and light for easy transportation. My only criticism is that since it's Windows you cannot download the Apple apps, but I was aware of that before purchase so I was not disappointed! Very happy customer

I love this laptop. I love that the screen pops all the way off the keyboard for a true tablet experience. The touch screen works great and I'm happy actually happy Best Buy was out of stock on the computer I wanted because I picked this out second.

Based upon the needs of a college freshman, this product is extremely versatile. Provides the tablet when needed and a conventional laptop as well. I have 2 freshman so I armed them both with this arrow for their academic quiver.... Highly recommend it.

Nice, quick, versatile laptop, The only issue I have so far is that the screen doesn't tilt back very far, making it hard to work without propping up the front of the computer. It can detach to become a tablet but if you want to use the physical keyboard to type this is an inconvenience.

The detachable screen makes this laptop transform into an awesome tablet! Having Windows 8.1 on your tablet instead of an android OS is a feature so great it's indescribable. And it has a combined battery life of over 10 hours!!!!! OMG!!!!!! I truly love my HP Split!

Not a bad little unit. Bought it for my college son who wanted a laptop and tablet to replace his broken gallaxy tab (cracked screen) & very old IBM computer. Does a good job of being both.

Very well attended to by well educated and patient shop personnel. Still familiarising myself with product but so far ok. Lightweight and modern design. Comfortable keyboard touch to vary with touch screen when preferred.
