Works well, and warms the surrounding air . . .
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This thing works as advertised. But, it's always warm to the touch whether I use it or not. I think that's unusual. However, if I get up earlier than normal and the office room is a bit chilly, I just pick this thing up and hold it in my hand. Nice warm hands . . . One other thing. Getting the USB plugs in and out require some real effort. They don't just slide in and out like is usually the case.

Great product at a fair price!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use this with my iPad Pro 11” and it works perfectly. The only downside to this item is that it tends to get pretty hot and if you plan to use the HDMI output, make sure to use it in short durations. I also wish that it had a activity led to let you know when your SD card is being read or written to.

Great adapter for audio work with iPad
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this to interface with my iPad and a midi controller (Arturia KeyLab 88). I also use a Korg NanoControl and I send the audio to a PreSonus audio interface. This requires three USB cables routing a lot of data. I tried a few knockoff adapters from Amazon, and unfortunately, they just couldn't handle it. This thing just works. Carries power for the iPad, can send video to an external monitor, and I can even use the ethernet port I necessary. I have been using it for a few weeks with no issues at all. The only negative thing I can come up with is related to price. It is a bit steep at $99. However, with all that it offers, it is worth it if you can spend the extra on it. Based on my needs, I would highly recommend it. If you are just looking for an adapter to allow you to use a keyboard, mouse and an external monitor, maybe other cheaper options would work. If you need some heavier data transfer, go with Hyper. It just works.

Great USB-C Hub
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Cost just as much as the Chromebook I have it paired with, however it does wonders on making that Chromebook much more productive. Connected to a monitor, ethernet supplied, keyboard attached, and charging with slots for way more all through one usb c drive. And yes there are a millions of these on the market but this one has a fit and finish that appears to be thought out and engineered well. It does get very hot but doesn’t seem to plague performance, and I imagine with all that it does it prob pulls 10-15 watts which is going heat things up. All in all great hub, expensive yes, but solid performer.

Solid Docking Station for a Chromebook
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been pleasantly pleased with my purchase of this docking station for my setup. I have a Chromebook and Microsoft Surface commingled for this setup. One positive of this docking station adapter is that it does well with powering and charging my Chromebook, working with a HDMI switch. It also features a SD memory card slot and multiple USB and Type C ports.

Would recommend to a friend!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was hesitant to pay this much for an adapter but I am happy I did! I previously bought a cheap adapter for my desktop and it caused my system to crash because of being faulty. Not that I have to use my MacBook Air to work I didn’t want to take any chances!

Finally completed my setup
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First Impression: I just received the item last night and was excited to test it when I got off work. As soon as I opened the unit I noticed all of that it feels sturdy and like a well put together dongle. Also the color is pretty spot on if you care about that kind of stuff. My setup/use: Using with a 2018 MacBook Pro. Generally, I just want to be able to plug in all of my peripherals without my MacBook looking like an octopus with a bunch of different adapters and wires on every single port. This unit only uses one of my MacBook's ports and the best thing is that I can hide the thing behind my MacBook given the lengthy cord. With the ports it provides I plugged in my Logitech G403 mouse, Logitech G Pro TKL Keyboard, and my Western Digital EasyStore 1TB into the USB ports. The ethernet port works like a charm when I'm doing work from home and I didn't realize the USB-C port was capable of charging my MacBook. I've also got an LG 34" UltraWide monitor hooked up to the HDMI port and it looks amazing. There is also an sd/micro card slot which is a plus for those that use this, and a headphone port so I can plug in my apple earbuds. Overall: Very satisfied with the purchase and easy to use. Plugged my devices in and hid everything behind my MacBook so my setup looks cleannnnn. Will try to post a picture if it allows me to later.

Great Husb
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great device, Totally allows my Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 to be used as a full laptop replacement. HDMI works seamlessly. USB ports allow for extra storage and devices. The headphone jack will let you plug in a standard computer speaker. The existing C USB port allows you to charge your phone or tablet while using this device.

Great iPad Pro hub
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve used this for Ethernet, hdmi, usb interfacing, and auxiliary audio so far with no issues. I’ve heard complaints about this unit getting hot when pushing 4K 30hz video out the hdmi but I have not experienced an actual heat issue. The hub does get slightly warmed but nothing substantial like “getting too hot to hold “ as other reviews have stated. All of the other elements of this device work as you’d expect and it fits nicely with the magic keyboard when attached. I haven’t used every slot simultaneously but I’ve used video with Ethernet and auxiliary audio with no issues.

Quality product, works and looks great.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking for a quality USB-C hub with a built in SD card reader and this fit the bill. Quality is top notch and everything works as it should on my MacBook Air 2020 (last of the intel processor model). I almost bought the Hyper model above this one with the 2 USB-C plugs..but did not need the ability to connect 2 external monitors. I wouldn't hesitate to buy this again or other products from Hyper. Also, it matches my Space Grey laptop perfectly!

Usb Hub works great for Laptops and Mobile Devices
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works awesome. I'm a laptop gamer who uses an external Keyboard and Mouse which takes up both USB 3.1 slots, Headphones use a USB Dongle which uses my last USB 2.0 slot which leaves me with 0 left over. I connect my Phone, external Hard drive, and external Webcam for when streaming the gaming I do. The 3 USB 3.0 Slots on the Hub come in clutch when needed. Not to mention I am able to dual ethernet to my laptop as well and Bond the connections allowing for an additional backup for any hiccups that may arise (IF any) and a 2nd Headphone Jack that can be used for various things. The USB Type C connector allows me to also connect to my Android device to utilize a keyboard and mouse on it for when I am on the go but need to type a super long email or work on any projects that are made much less annoying frustrating not having to usd the touch screen to accomplish said task/goal. Great buy. Also has SD slots big and small.

An Inexpensive Little Workhorse
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this for my MacBook Air at the time of purchase. It was recommended to me by Best Buy staff. I needed a USB-C charger with HDMI and USB-A. It's small, light, and powerful. It gets warm, but not hot like other brands and models. I highly recommend this.

It Does What It's Supposed To
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This device works for what you need it to do but it may or may not read micro SD cards. It stays warm.....all the time. I don't think it was worth 100 dollars but I think you're paying for the multifunction. I bought this for my MacBook Pro because it only has the two USB-C ports. It will work in a pinch and to be honest the heat could be due to the fact that it can charge other USB-C devices. It does the job and its durable. Its not meant to dazzle.

Great Hub for Ipad Pro and Mac
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Small well designed hub. I choose this model, over several less expensive no name models, due the number of ports. This hub includes wired ethernet and an old fashion headphone jack not found on most hubs. The headphone jacks comes in handy when using the iPad Pro for Zoom webinars. The hub can also be used with all flavor of MacBooks, so it does double duty for both Ipad and Mac.
