This movie requires your immediate and full attention . Its a “brain on” movie where you check in and get rewarded with a deep intertwining story . Character’s you care about and this becomes a movie you immediately rewatch for missing details .And eventually becomes afriend you visit once a year. Nolan is a master craftsman .

No Imax scenes, yet the 35mm film scan puts out a crystal clear image. Love it.

If Christopher Nolan’s films aren’t the ideal choice for a 4K transfer, what is even life? Great deal, would’ve been better if it included a digital copy.

I’ve been impressed with this masterpiece every since it was released just a few years ago and now to experience it in awesome 4K !! It’s just what you’d expect! Beautiful transfer and HDR picture quality! An excellent film to add to your collection especially if you’re using an OLED display!

This is the third copy of INCEPTION I have owned, from DVD to standard Blu-ray, and now 4K Ultra HD. The movie is astounding - even a decade after its original release. The Ultra HD version is a step up, but just slightly. Sound is very good; the colors are great; but I was surprised that it wasn't significantly sharper than my previous Blu-ray. One other negative is that the Warner Brothers BD-Live application is no longer available (as of around 2014) yet is still included in the Special Features disc. I viewed this on a Sony 85" X900H 4K TV using a Sony XBP-800M2 4K Blu-ray player.

Inception' is simply one of those films that carries a timeless quality to it that thrives more by its concept and story thrust than it's visuals — although the visuals still hold-up today — especially in 4K. But, even if the visuals didn't, it's psychological/metaphysical qualities is what propels the material forward. My wife is a hard-sell to my science-fiction passions, but she sees this one as a thinking 'outside-of-the-box' movie — she loved it.

Loved the movie. One of Christopher Nolan’s best. Definitely a movie that needs to be “ watched “ and not have your mind on anything else. Picture quality looks terrific in 4K, and the SteelBook was worth waiting for to pick this up.

If you like steelbooks this is a must. Fans will be satisfied.

Inception is sure to be a classic, offering an exciting experience that keeps you engaged and doesn't rely on predictable chains of events. DiCaprio is awesome! The supporting cast (Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Tom Hardy, Ken Watanabe, Michael Caine and Cillian Murphy) all deliver on there roles. Without a doubt, it is the creative eye and directing style of Christopher Nolan that puts this movie atop most must watch lists and why it has won an Academy Award for Cinematography.

It is a great Sci-fi action movie with loads of action and excellent storyline. HDR makes the image crisp looking. Audio is a disappointing DTS-HD. The only issue with Nolan films is the lack of atoms/overhead speakers. If Nolan wants to use only DTS, he could still mix in DTS-X for a more immersive audio experience. The bass and Bed layer speaks deliver a good audio though. If it were DTS-X, then it would have been flawless.

Inception is not just one of my favorite Nolan movies, it’s an all-timer for me! It holds up REALLY well, and is both exciting and mind-bending. HOWEVER, my 4K set has two discs stacked on top of each other. This is not Best Buy’s fault, but I also wish I could say it was the first time I’ve seen this. Sony does the same thing with their Better Call Saul discs, and it’s just so sloppy, especially considering how much they charge for these products! Would it be unreasonable to ask for one of those flaps installed in the middle to hold extra discs? Other than that, I don’t have anything negative to say; I love this movie!

This movie keeps you thinking and guessing all the way to the end. Nolan did great work on this film.

I've previously had this movie on bluray, and this 4k transfer is definitely an upgrade, especially in the atmos track! With all Nolan movies, the dialogue can be muddy at sometimes, but not too noticeable. But definitely a recommend for any Nolan or movie fan!

Even though I had seen Inception in the theater and watched it once at home, I recently decided to pick up the 4K version. This is a very complex, mind bending movie by master director Christopher Nolan. Every time that I watch it, a bit more of the plot gets revealed. It features a superb cast working their tails off to tell this, at times, convoluted tale. The 4K/HDR image is very good although there are certain scenes in which colors are to enhanced and can look over-saturated. Nolan has, as usual, chosen not to use the expansive Atmos or DTS:X sound modes but has, rather, stuck with a DTS-HD Master 5.1 track. Regardless, the sound is excellent. The package includes a second Blu-ray disc devoted exclusively to very interesting Special Features.

Christopher Nolan is an auteur and his film’s especially in the science fiction arena are flawless IMO. To truly enjoy them you have to pay attention as they unfold as they filled with subtext as to the material that unfolds in layers!

It's a fantastic movie, but that's irrelevant because if you purchased you already like it. This review is about the actual packaging and product quality, which was solid enough. There was no visible damage to the case and the actually 4K conversion is spot on, so the movie looks fantastic.

I just love thos movie, even though nobody else gets it lol. The definition was top, I enjoyed it on my PS5

This awesome movie is worth rewatching many times. If you were a little lost the first time, it pays to rewatch. Even if you understood the plot, rewatching it unveils cool details.

Love the movie and the 4k quality is amazing. The soundtrack for the film comes through more clear than ever and the HDR completes the touches that make a digital intermediate of Nolan film worthwhile. Definitely would recommend.

More than 10 years later this movie still holds up. Its a fun movie that presents a strange concept and just runs with it. It does not spend its time getting bogged down in details. Its all about the spectacle.
