I wanted something I could reheat coffee or food in while I'm upstairs so I don't have to go back down to the kitchen. It took a few times to get used to the buttons but it's easy to use, looks great, and I was able to find a mini fridge at BB to go along with it for the perfect setup.

Perfect for dorm/office or small kitchen

But the defrost function is a little tricky to understand at first you might have to keep the manual book just in case. It is great overall !

She uses to cook meals for herself with a microwave cooker she found. She is really loving her freedom to do her own thing in her own space. Great choice so she can have some independence. We bought this as an addition to the companion mint green compact fridge we got her last fall from Best Buy.

It actually fits a full size 12-13in plate with a splash guard over just fine.
