Great mouse Bluetooth, bought myself the rog ally and since its windows I wanted a mouse to modify a few things on the unit software since its a lot faster, you will not need to use connection this will be via Bluetooth. Work smooth and gets the job done, also the size is on point not to big and not to small.
Im 6'1 and is excellent for traveling.

A general use mouse that stands out

I have a confession…I cannot use a laptop without a mouse (manually-operated user-selection equipment). I have purchased many different ones in over the past 30 years, and this Insignia Bluetooth 3-button mouse of one of my favorites. Here are the reasons why:
-A wireless mouse is easier for travel. No cable means no getting tangled up in your bag. The downside is you need to remember to turn it off to save battery life. Be sure you use the On/Off power switch. When connected to your device, you can see how much life is still in the battery. The AA battery comes with it. The cover is easy to slide off to replace the battery.
-While I have used plug and play ones with a USB A dongle, nowadays there are fewer (USB) ports on a laptop which outweighs the pros of an RF mouse receiver. As a result, my preference is a Bluetooth connection. To connect, press and hold the DPI/Bluetooth pair button for 3-5 seconds. The LED indicator light blinks quickly in pairing mode then turns off once it has paired. It shows up as Insignia BT5.0 Mouse and you get a “pairing success” message when connected.
-The 3 buttons are: left, right, scroll wheel. I must have a scroll wheel! The tracking is optical with up to 1600 DPI for precise control. Not being a gamer or graphic designer, an optical mouse suits my needs.
-The shape is ergonomic for me. I like that it has a curve to it. I am 5’7” tall and my hand fits comfortably over it.
-Max range is 33 feet and that is sufficient when I do presentations in front of a large group.
-The cost is extremely reasonable for what you get with this product.
-The features I wish this model had are: an indicator light on top to remind me the power is still on, and options of other colors.

Quiet, compact mouse that tracks well

Quick Overview
=================================
The Insignia 3-button Bluetooth Mouse is a nice simple mouse that's small enough to be portable or used comfortably for those with smaller hands.
Overall build
=================================
Yes it's a standard, symmetrical (for either hand) mouse-shaped plastic mouse with a scroll wheel and integrated buttons (not separate pieces for right/left). Underneath, you'll see some wide glide strips, the sensor, an on/off switch, and the DPI/BT button used for pairing.
I like the small size and weight for a travel/portable mouse. The lower portion on the bottom slides open to take a single AA battery (included).
Once you've inserted a battery, turn it on and hold down the DPI/BT button until the light blinks and you should see it appear on your device of choice.
Performance
=================================
As expected, this performs just like you'd expect a modern mouse to perform. It tracks well on a glossy countertop, desk, mousepad, etc. This is kind of a "no frills" mouse, so you don't need any special software nor does it have a tilt wheel, just scrolling. The good news is that the button clicks are very subdued and muted, so it would be good for working in an environment where you needed to be quiet like a bedroom, library or quiet cafe.
The DPI button allows you to select different sensitivity ranges at the push of a button, giving you some precision or the ability to sweep across the screen with one flick. Just push the DPI button on the underside and you can cycle through 3 modes (800/1200/1600) and the flashing LED will indicate what mode you're in with 1, 2, or 3 flashes.
Why would you want a BT mouse instead of one with a dedicated USB (2.4 Ghz) dongle that has higher performance? Well, sometimes you're not allowed to connect certain things to a device. For example, on a locked-down work computer, they might not allow additional USB devices. Or using this on a modern tablet or Chromebook without a USB-A port would mean you need an adapter or just use BT.
Conclusion
=================================
Overall this is a great travel mouse due to its compact size and on/off switch that can preserve battery life. I like that it's virtually silent as well for those "late night working sessions" while people are asleep.

Looking for a cheap Bluetooth(BT) mouse that’ll just work. This is it. It connects by BT 3 and 5. It has right, left, and the middle/scroll wheel buttons. It’s symmetrical so you can easy change it from left to right-handed in your computer settings. There are two buttons underneath the mouse, on/off, and DPI changer. The DPI changes from 800, 1200 and 1600. The DPI button also double as the BT pairing button. The mouse is powered by a AA battery. In the bottom of the mouse, the end slides off to reveal the battery chamber. The battery goes in with the + end towards the bottom/end of the mouse. Finally, there is a blue led light on the bottom to show on/off and connection status. The black and gray color looked good. It comes with a small set of instructions.
The mouse is medium weight for its size, and glides nicely on surfaces. It felt fine in my hands. Connecting it to multiple laptops, and desktops. The device connects to one device and will need to be paired again with each device. I didn’t find any software for it, so you’ll have to use the devices mouse setting to make customizations. It’s simple and low cost. Does what it says. Should be good to put in a bag with your device and take with you traveling. The battery can last up to 3 months depending on use. This is a no-frills mouse that just works.

Good Compact Bluetooth Mouse!

he Insignia Bluetooth 3 Button mouse -black is a basic but Bluetooth mouse. This means that it will work with not only modern laptops and computers but also with phones and tablets. This makes it a very versatile mouse with a small form factor for easy portability. With modern phones like Samsungs, there is Samsung Dex which lets you use your phone like a computer with a larger screen a keyboard and a Bluetooth mouse like this one. After using this mouse for a while now I find it has a good shape to it and I like that it is tall in the back with a nice rear that fits well in the palm. It is a little small for larger hands but with the ergonomic indented sides it is easy to control despite it’s small stature. It has very good tracking and responds quickly to button clicks and movements in any direction. This mouse by Insignia is very simple and easy to use. Not only that it is very reasonably priced and performs as well as other mouses I have that cost more. All things considered, I do not see any reason to avoid this mouse is you are looking for a compact Bluetooth wireless mouse at a good price.

A Great Compromise

I've been using mice or track balls since notebooks added trackpads. I never liked trackpads, but I grew more accustomed to there ocassional use. However for real productive work I want a mouse or trackball. The Bluetooth standard has evolved to pair more easily and it sip less and less power. Companies like logitech had always provided their own usb dongles to overcome the shortcomings of early Bluetooth. But since BT5 has been out for 5+ years the performance and reliability of BT has improved greatly. Modern BT devices can transmit data 5x faster than v4 with new profiles optimised to specific devices (add devices don't look like serial devices any more).
Enough with BT improvements, this mouse is somewhere between a true travel mouse and a full size desktop device. My hand is fairly large and I'd prefer that this mouse was a little bigger for everyday use, but after using it a bit I find it quite acceptable for daily use. With Windows 11 the mouse was automatically detected, and I was asked if I wanted to pair with it. On my Apple Air I had to tell it to pair, but it was immediately recognised and worked fine. At the same time it's small enough to toss in my travel case. It's a very responsive mouse that you can easily change the DPI (800,1200 & 1600) for more precise work. There are more precise mice out there, but you rarely need it (IMHO). My only complaint is that it uses a battery, I'd far prefer it to be a USB chargeable, and that it still works when it is being charged. The scroll wheel is very responsive, I wish it had a bit more texture to it. The mouse works very well without a mouse pad, which is quite important. I tried it on a glass table, and it worked but not as well as on a non-clear surface. it slides very nicely, and generally has a good feel to the buttons.
On a 1-10 scale it's a 8. And price wise it's a 10.

This is a good Bluetooth mouse with the standard 3 buttons (left, right, and center scroll wheel that can also be pressed). The size is just right, and the button action has a nice soft and quiet touch (not clicky at all). The scroll wheel is nicely weighted. Bluetooth pairing was smooth on my Pixelbook, and it reconnects fairly quickly when waking from sleep (although like most Bluetooth mice, there can sometimes be a little choppiness upon first awakening and reconnecting). Mouse movements are smooth and reliable on the screen, and pressing the button on the bottom of the mouse cycles through 800, 1200, and 1600 DPI.
Build quality is ok, with hard but smooth plastic (which is preferable to soft-touch rubberized material which tends to break down and get sticky after a couple of years). The plastic does seem a bit thin, though, which makes me wonder how it would weather a couple of accidental drops on the floor.
It uses one AA battery, which is thoughtfully included. Overall, it's a good deal for the price, since Bluetooth mice tend to be more expensive than conventional 2.4 GHz wireless mice.

Cost Effective 3-Buttom BT-5.0 Mouse

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.
BACKGROUND: I currently own an assortment of computer mice (6 total) used with four laptops and one AOI. Three require a USB-A dongle, two are BT (Bluetooth) only, and one is a combo BT with USB-A dongle option. None of them are considered “high end” and none cost more than $25, therefore I consider these “entry level” devices, including this Insignia NS-PM3NK3B24 Bluetooth 5.0 Mouse.
SETUP: Take out of the box, slide the lower bottom half of the mouse base off, and install the supplied battery. In your computer settings, select “Add a Bluetooth Device” then “Add Device”. Push the DPI/BT button on the bottom of this mouse for 3 to 5 seconds to active paring mode (Blue Pairing LED will flash). Select Insignia BT5.0 Mouse (or BT3 if your computer does not support BT5). You should be connected; Easy Peazy.
BUTTONS BOTTOM: On the bottom of the mouse is a power mini-slide switch that will save battery life for extended times of inactivity. There is also a dual function button for BT Discover and DPI settings. Short press the DPI/BT button for DPI options: 800, 1200, or 1600. Each press will step through the setting with the Blue LED flashing 1, 2, or 3 times indicating the DPI option currently selected. Sweet!
BUTTONS TOP: Pretty rudimentary here with Left and Right buttons along with a center Scroll Wheel. When you depress the scroll wheel, you can auto-scroll up/down and left/right by just moving the mouse. This is very basic functionality and what you would find in most all mouse options being sold today. Nevertheless, it gets the job done.
BEST FEATURE: The Left and Right buttons are nearly silent with only the lowest noise being emitted. (I own a Best Buys Essentials 6-button mouse with more features, but its Left/Right buttons are very loud and clicky. And I do own a competitor’s mouse with actual “silent buttons” that has completely spoiled me.) The NS-PM3NK3B24 buttons are more than sufficiently quiet, and this mouse meets my current requirements for being noiseless.
RATING: I hate to use the phrase “for the money”, but… Can’t beat the price vs. performance here. If all you require is a go-to, cost-effective mouse, for travel, or even daily use, you can’t go wrong. Therefore, I believe the Insignia NS-PM3NK3B24 earned a solid 4-Star Rating.

I connected this and wondered why it was faster than all my wireless Mice! On the BT connection you have two choices (3.0 or 5.0). Anyway, the is a fast mouse and very easy on the hands.
Interesting that the 5.0 version is not mentioned in the specifications online. On/Off switch instead of a push button is not my favorite way to turn off a mouse but works fine.
This mouse is a bargain!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Love this little thing, not too big to fit easily in a tablet bag / everyday carry bag, but not too small where it hurts to use. If you're going to be working all day on it get something bigger unless you have little hands. Also be sure to read the instructions where it informs you if you have the option for both Bluetooth three or five pick five.
