When I was looking for a home security system, I wanted something that was fairly inexpensive, easy to use, and had no monthly charge. The iSmart camera adds an element that I love to an already great system. The streaming video cues up quickly on my phone, even when I am in not great areas of reception. Installation was fairly simple. Overall, I couldn't complain, as the video quality is good, the app is intuitive, and you can actually scan around the room with the camera, which is a feature you don't get it with some more expensive cameras.

This camera works ok. Day and night video is acceptable. You can tilt and pan the camera to look around your home at will, but remember to leave it pointed where it will catch an intruder when you are not looking around your home. One downside of this camera is that when an alarm is triggered, it will only capture 10 seconds of video once it detects motion. Then it will upload this video to the 'cloud', before it may record another 10 seconds of video. I think this is a bit limiting as if an intruder was looking away from the camera during this 10 seconds, you may not be able to identify them. The manufacturer doesn't mention this, so don't be surprised by it. Otherwise it works well. This 10 second limitation does not apply to live monitoring, but only to the recorded video that is captured when an alarm is triggered. You can not only watch the video, but it has a built in microphone so you can listen in also. So it's good for checking in on the kids, or your pets.

I love the iSmartAlarm home security system, and purchased a couple of these to add on to my base system. Good picture and sound quality, although I feel that the sensor could be a bit better on picking up motion detection. Get night vision though, and captures decent film quality when recoding.

I really like these cameras. They were easy to setup and can be stand alone or integrated into the iSmartAlarm security system. I've had them setup both ways. Currently I have them integrated into my system and set to record if door sensors are tripped. The video is good and you can take stills, move the camera remotely, listen through the camera. They also have night vision and it works well.

Easy to setup and use. I had it up and running in about 15 minutes. The app could be a little better but offers basic controls. Love how you can pan and tilt the camera by just swiping on the app. It sends alerts and captures 10 second videos if there is motion or sound. If I had a complaint it would be that the night vision isn't all that great and also at the moment there is no option on the app to delete stored videos. Great camera if you're looking for something you don't have to pay monthly for.

The camera is great for a streaming camera with no monthly fees. There's steaming audio as well as video. Quality seem good on my internet connection. The camera has a wide range pan, i can pan across my whole living room and kitchen. The app can use some more work though. When the motion sensor goes off it will record a 5 or 10 second clip and there is no option to delete those clips at all. But overall it is a good camera that fits my needs.

I added this to my ISmart System a few months after I bought my system. This is a necessary accessory as I can see inside my home if my motion detector is tripped. The only complain is the power cord is short as I want to install on my wall. All wall mount hardware came with it which is a plus. Easy to setup but had to use a WiFi extender to improve the connection.

The camera is very easy to setup and the support help is very good. Make sure you have the camera in a good wi-fi zone in the house. I am able to view what I need and move the camera using my cell phone. It also carries sound which can be switched on and off during the session. The only downside I have with it is there is no browser capability, only view is with the cell phone. But this camera gives me great piece of mind viewing what I need to monitor.

The system overall is great, they just updated the camera so now I'm able to zoom in the image and get so see a bit more in details, in my case is great because I have a dog and I like to keep a closer look him. The alarm itself is great and works just as I need it. I like the fact that I could log in anytime I want to monitor everything. If the alarm goes off I get a call an E-mail or a text depending on what you desire. The only thing I don't like is that sometimes if my internet is down, the system won't notify me right away. but other than that it works great.

I happen to like this camera compared to their previous one. It works 100% of the time and its simple design is a sure match for any decor. You can remotely turn it around to check your place and use it as a motion detector and record any activity in a ten second increments.

This camera has been absolutely perfect for my need. I bought it to monitor our elderly dog while I am working upstairs, and she is downstairs. The picture is clear, and the sound and motion alerts work perfectly to let me know when she is up and around. I also appreciate being able to move the camera lens around the room by just scrolling on my iPhone 5S. It took me a few minutes to set it up. My phone in essence had to accept via our home network the camera signal (password punched in), and everything worked fine after that. It took me about 15-20 minutes to get it fully operational. I have been using this camera daily for almost full days with no problems. I researched cameras from Best Buy before purchasing, and was thrilled when my local store had it in stock. Finally, it is portable and able to be used in any room in the house as I need it to, so it has been wonderfully helpful there as well as our pooch moves around. I would recommend this to anyone for it's varied features, it's most reasonable price point, and it's ease and convenience with use. Thanks for the opportunity for input.

Only had for about a week- so far so good. I can't seem to get it completely linked to the iSmart security system but will be calling their support line to get it all linked correctly. Night vision works great, love how i can move and adjust the camera from my phone. I mainly just use it to check on my dog (who apparently never leaves my room when I'm gone). Only thing I wish is that I could talk through the camera instead of just listening.

The range of the view is wide and the picture quality is good also at night. Easy and quick installation. This camera is compatible with other iSmartAlarm products.

Lots of product features including portability and night vision

I bought this on sale at Best Buy and it has been a great purchase was easy to set up and the video is good quality for 720p. I like that you can also mount this to the wall if you need to.

The camera is a nice add on to the main system. It takes a few seconds to load the current image. Wonderful that you can control camera and maneuver 180 degrees. Easy to mount.

I like, the camera, it pans and tilts fine. The picture is good, it could be better but no complaints. I also like that it has sound and you can flash pictures to save to your phone.

The camera can be used as a stand-alone. I use it with my iSmart system. It was easy to install and add on to an existing system. I have not yet mastered all of the functionality of it but as a basic video monitor it is great. Well worth the money and comfort.

This camera works great solo or as an addition to the ismartalarm system. Only gripe is that you must un-link it from the cube entirely in order to capture all motion but not trigger the alarm.

Works as advertised! Clear picture and the night vision is very clear!
